The school of life

God is the mentor, we the protégé
In this school of life
Most valuable of all degrees
Most toughest of all exams
Knowledge grows through self experience
Failure makes us strong
God conducts innumerous tests
To test our tolerance and make us better
The course duration varies
But time is trifling
The achievements are vital
When you complete your course
And depart from this school
The number of hearts you touched
Is your real degree
The number of people you enthused
Is your real marks
The number of souls remembering you
Is your true success in this exam

A Time Management Plan....What really happens

September 3,2008, just 6 weeks left to wait
Mind was becoming queerer, as exams were approaching nearer
So books were taken out and chapters were listed
Notes were made, revised and gisted
But oh! it was just september,1 month still left to practice and remember
I thought, 'it won't be too late, if i start studying at a later date
So flushed with joy, ii made it clearer, will sit to study when exams approach nearer
So on the calendar, I slashed 11, and this queen was back to its heaven

September 11,2008,5 weeks left up straight
But this time, I gave plenty reasons to excuse, for not to study in exam blues
Friends always waiting to chat, gossip about
Plus my bro can't here the T.V. less loud
And then I've to practice for a competition
Mind is boggling with frustration
I annonced, 'No big deal, since I've plenty work to do
I'll start studying from 22

Returning To RADA

I sit in Reception and wait, and wonder
What is going on, as it sounds like thunder.
Up on the first floor, somewhere above my head,
The students are making enough noise to wake the dead.
Across the room, I can hear feet running to and fro,
And the drama students utter loud sounds, as they go.

It’s Saturday, but rehearsal studios are alive wherever I go,
With drama students, honing their skills, in readiness to show.
En route to my exam, I pause upon the first floor,
And, am drawn by sounds, which I just can’t ignore.
A tinkling piano and the sound of singing, is what I hear;
I stand there momentarily, soaking up the atmosphere.

Sitting outside the exam room now and I can hear a cello;
Its sound soaring towards me: deeply resonant and mellow.
The previous candidate emerges from the exam room,
And is living proof that you should never ever assume.
He’s a stocky guy, in his mid forties, with shaven hair;
Not the kind of person I would have expected to see there!

Before I got Doctor Who, I went to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I went back to take the final grade exam, which is the grade you have to take before you can take the teacher's diploma.
