Quotes about signals, page 4

They're very strong in memory. Didn't do very much in microprocessors or digital signal processing.

Small tragedies.

Darkness descending silently.
Enfolds the quiet countryside.
A blanket of tranquillity
Which only last ‘til morning light.

As day light fades and twilight falls.
Signalling it's time to rest
The air is filled with sleepy calls
As each small bird seeks out it's nest.

Though other creatures hunt at night.
On silent wings seek out their prey
To satisfy their appetite
Fierce predators that sleep by day.

The darkness does not guarantee.
Small animals security.

A Little Light

IN THE roughest of seas,
a warship wages war with a raging storm
in absent abyss of light,

First mate shouts out 'ship',
as he points to light in the night.
Warships send a signal of warning
(no response, no reply)

Warships send a signal of warning again,
but, a warship will not give way nor give in.
(no response, no reply) ,

Warship captain, at his wits limit, is very irrate.
His reply, send a signal with this warning,
'I will run you down and damn you to dark-
ness, to an eternal night of the abyss.
(a response, the reply)

Damn me? Damn me? Damn me

Commerce

The commerce of religion stands to the alone,
A sitting of amazement stays behind;
Its real commercial value shall be managed
By the awesome and rich, by the deity of all.
Such is the power of delivery that we speak
Over a signal inside one, the signals are repeated.
Maybe the religion shall speak, may it all relax
To the honesty of the boat or the ark or the bridge.
How mellow is the sound or the noise going to be?
The real religion works formally, with telephones.

Blue and You

It was Panama
And blue butterflies
Significant as Blue Velvet
Blue as the sea's surrounding it
Blue as your eye's
With glimmer's of surprise
Dancing with your smile
Near to Panama's quarter mile
You could have won me over
I was vunerable
And open
Empty arms
Just waiting
Your charms
Mixed signals
Sent
Too much time
Spent
Wondering?
Flirtation or imagination?

Modern Elfland

I cut a staff in a churchyard copse,
I clad myself in ragged things,
I set a feather in my cap
That fell out of an angel's wings.

I filled my wallet with white stones,
I took three foxgloves in my hand,
I slung my shoes across my back,
And so I went to fairyland.

But lo, within that ancient place
Science had reared her iron crown,
And the great cloud of steam went up
That telleth where she takes a town.

But cowled with smoke and starred with lamps,
That strange land's light was still its own;
The word that witched the woods and hills
Spoke in the iron and the stone.

Today's Blank Wall

just this day
i face a blank wall

it is enticing
its white hand is signaling me to write my thoughts on it

it is empty and wants to be full
just like myself perhaps who knows

i will disappoint it in the same manner that you have
disappointed me

i will not go near it
i will not say a word

i will not write anything
but i will tell it

'you are beautiful'

My Country

My country is above the love,
Your personality is in my country.
We are upset, fully loving and defined,
Like a natural being, a human reality.
Underneath the clouds and the sky full of storms,
My nation speaks to the laughter of lightning,
Loathing our special reality, in my voice.

My county is also a special district,
Of the playing, of sports and other recreation.
We reside here forming slow movements,
Building victorious signals according to the mind.
Like human beings the doctors also wait,
For the signals and lightning bolts
That the country has suffered.

Grace notes echoinf for M lady Olfa

The eastern sky is growing bright.
Signalling the end of night.

Soon in due course the rising sun
confirms a new day has begun

The morning silence broken by
a lark that carols from on high.

Instinctively when she takes wing
.She knows her duty is to sing.

Because she has survived the night
Because a new day has begun
Because she free to fly on high.
Because she knows that her singing.

Is something she’s required to do.
Yet every day her song is new.

Dunbar

This signal of your love and this signal of my muse,
It was joy when i heard of your words!
And like a visit to Lagos in Portugal,
But, i had the same experience in Lagos (Nigeria) some years ago.

Heavy metals and simple words,
Down the riverside to wait for you;
And like Dunbar your friend in the land of many waters!
But, thousands of flowers and candles are needed over here like,
The soft meat in the land of sweet songs!

Tigers And Goats

Tigers and goats,
And the tigers ate up the goats;
But they will get the signals when the church bell rings,
And like Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome!

Death's Meeting

i invited Death

i prepared a slice of
lamb's roasted meat
a glass of red wine
adjusted the light
dimming yellow,
into the saffron
of mellow ambiance
i signaled that He
shall now come
and sit on the Persian
pillow
i sit in front of Him
so we can talk
peacefully

Death is silent
looked at Time
and left me

Harlequin

The world lay brown and barren at the closing of the year,
Where the rushes shook and shuddered on the borders of the mere,
And the troubled tide ran shoreward, where the estuaries twined
Through the wide and empty marsh toward the sullen hills behind:
And the smoke-engirdled city sulked beneath the leaden skies,
With the rain-tears slowly sliding from her million window eyes,
And the fog-ghost limped and lingered past the buildings clad in grime,
Till the Frost King gave the signal for the Christmas pantomime!

Then we heard the winds of winter on their brazen trumpets blow
The summons for the ballet of the nimble-footed snow,
And the flakes, all silver-spangled, through the mazy measures wound,
Till each finished out his figure, and took station on the ground.
And the drifts, in shining armor, and with gem-encrusted shields,
Spread their wide-deployed battalions on the drill-ground of the fields,
Till the hillside shone and shimmered with the armies of the rime,
As the Frost King gave the signal for the Christmas pantomime !

He spread a crystal carpet on the rush-encircled pond,
And looped about with ermine all the hemlock-trees beyond:

Sounding Borewell Signals

Good morning
On bicycles and 'bikes run
With kudams and buckets
On first-chore-water-hunting
Provoking heartfelt empathy

Yet water-hunting isn't much
Empathetic but feasting
Warblers squad signalled
Of sounding borewell motor..
Overflowing overhead tank pouring..
Birds many round screeching
In gentle drinking harmony

Empathetic humans jostle..
Water-pumps and metro-water cabs
All by road-side screeching humanly
Sympathy or empathy is humans'
Yet apathy is...?

Ntezo

Busy signals ans busy love,
You are the star on my love;
So come and let me march you on to my bed of roses,
For i am Ntezo and you need my bed of roses.

Felicity Of Danger

Felicity creates happiness and easy circumstances,
Beautifying us when applied, signalling an innovation.
My ecstasy is an elation of some kind, after all,
Sighing additionally, so much above a big lion that roars.
Feral and menacing is this emergency of a ghoul,
The lion creates an exigency so greater than happiness.
Hollering with pride, the apes of clamour claim noise
To do with emergency and fierce activity.
Felicity is the opposite of danger, the animals,
Those creatures or minions describe their skin and fur
As that of hell and heaven, the after-lives.

The Glorious Ways

Your brown body pulls me across the desert,
Just as desirable as the luck of the hares in your overgrown
Backyard:
You do this to me in your ways, swaying like the séance of
A metamorphosing violin:
There you are
Crenellating the last calls of a fortress like the signals for life
Over the nameless hills
And the tourists mulling like jackanapes in the soft golf courses
Of icecreams;
And that you were so rude as to bother the sky with your eyes
That way,
Whose most direct of senses found their way across the fronteras
To Texas and your old backyards,
Calling up my dreams to meet your soul;
The involuntary arrows you plucked me from across the streets
Of our work places
Until I kissed and laid you down into the newest grottos under
The chicken wire stars where the films had just started shooting,
And there alongside the carport where my mother
