laser

Quotes about laser, page 4

A Warning To A Closure

it is not that we desire to change
a stone into a vine

you always complain that the stone in you
is silent and heavy

there is no laser to perform such work
of transubstantiation

i do not have that power to go inside your gene
and cut some stairs of DNA molecules

what we need is just an hour of compromise
a little sacrifice here and there

like some stains in your shirt which we can
remove later in the washroom

but you do not have that hour or you simply
refuse to see us sacrificing too

Chairman Miaow

Stealthy, silent, sleek in darkness
Fluid feline's fearless progress
Patrolling, probing, paws with flick knives
Agile, adept, armed with nine lives

Domesticated yet one step from wild
Hunts to kill, then plays like a child
Explosive reflex, power and grace
Laser sharp eyes pare through space

A territorial dispute erupts
A flurry of flying fur in tufts
A chilling howl, a scream of pain
The vanquished flees, victor remains

Dawn brings her to the back door
With feathered gift upon the floor
She's looking up as if to say
'Here's my good deed for the day'

Leave The State of Nirvana

You slay me - my eyes have gone
right out of focus and my mind has
changed into a pulp of sweet, happy
jelly emitting glimmer and shine -

I cannot work like this; I feel
like a soap bubble shimmering with
rainbows - glittering everywhere; I
feel like a fairy floating about -

a sprite dancing for joy - how shall
I find power to leave this state of
nirvana and return to cold-blooded
left-brain consciousness

to do my work - to focus my mind
like a laser-beam on duties and
responsibilities - Can a fairy turn
into an ant?

You Are My Lighthouse

I am lost in the storm
With nowhere to turn
Out of the corner of my sight
I see your light
Streaming through the air, burning bright
Swimming through the rolling waves I begin to fight
I follow your light above high
A laser of light across the diamond filled sky
I was lost at sea, I was going to die
You are my lighthouse
You show me the way
Your eternal light gives me the strength to live another day
You guide me to the security of the shore
Your light never fades it shines on forever more
When I am lost, I look up and thier you stand
To carry me safely to the sand
You watch over me
With your radient light I am able to see
In the strongest storm your walls will not crumble
With your light I am humble

Olympics 2012

Flu Theory of Failure
In the Olympics year of twenty twelve
Flu took gold in Australia.
With gold on the chest of the flu,
Silver was the best we could do-
Thus Silver's Gold, not A Failure.

Boo Hoo Hoo
Peculiar to
Australia,
The sulphur-crested cockatoo.
Other white Australians,
The lot of them are aliens,
Silver is their hue,
Will be Sally's too.
With gold on the chest of the flu,
Silver's the best she can do-
Her silver is gold, not a failure.

Driving To Work (Revised)

Took a scenic route to look at jacarandas
in bloom - sadly their purple was stripped
by last night's rain, stuck behind a slow-
moving police van, no chance to play Grand
Prix again

Next time I'll keep to the highway, people
claim they see deer and giraffes in the
sanctuary next to the road, I would love
to see any but am always racing - it'd be
so such fun

Currently I have to watch other cars with
a hawk's eye after a crash yesterday, two
drivers not looking at a roundabout went
for the same spot, now I glare at drivers
with laser eyes

To make sure they are clear before I drive
off; I love my little Suzuki too much to take

Two Side Of The Moon

Laser, breathing on my window
Two strings, beating out of time
Koto, warning of the danger
Wake up, is your head still mine?
Now they give you reasons
To fight for love
Thats enough
In a paper world
Thats enough
Said the chinese girl
Thats enough
Another city falls
Just because were two sides of the moon
Data, streaming through my window
Chrome stars, whispering their lies
Black sky, hides approaching stranger
Reach out, two should now be one
Disregard the reasons
And look above
Thats enough

Jean Geanie

A small Jean Genie snuck off to the city
Strung out on lasers and slash back blazers
Ate all your razors while pulling the waiters
Talking bout Monroe and walking on Snow White
New York's a go-go and everything tastes nice
Poor little Greenie, woh ho
Get back home
The Jean Genie lives on his back
The Jean Genie loves chimney stacks
He's outrageous, he screams and he bawls
Jean Genie let yourself go!
Sits like a man but he smiles like a reptile
She love him, she love him but just for a short while
She'll scratch in the sand, won't let go his hand
He says he's a beautician and sells you nutrition
And keeps all your dead hair for making up underwear
Poor little Greenie, woh ho
The Jean Genie lives on his back
The Jean Genie loves chimney stacks
He's outrageous, he screams and he bawls

Sedan Delivery

Last night I was cool at the pool hall
Held the table for eleven games
Nothing was easier than the first seven
I beat a woman with varicose veins.
She stopped to see herself in the mirror
Fix her hair and hide heir veins
And she lost the game.
Next day I went to the dentist
He pulled some teeth and I lost some blood
Wed like to thank you for the cards you sent us
My wives and I were all choked up.
I recall how caesar and cleo
Made love in the milky way
They needed boats and armies to get there
I know theres a better way.
I saw the movie and I read the book
But when it happened to me
I sure was glad I had what it took
To get away.
Gotta get away, gotta get away

Can One Live Without Inner Light?

Can one here live without Light?
some soil bacteria and worms can Live,
Still they need somehow that energy,
But all higher forms need light,
Constantly like to move in light,
Even the blind men too have inner Light!

Love and faith,
and those truths,
Emanated from self luminous,
Or reflected by
nonluminous,
Partly absorbed and modified,
light that obstruct light's own path,
causing fictitious forms!

Is Life illusion like
Forms created by
Laser light in vacuum?

Metal Gods

Weve taken too much for granted
And all the time it had grown
From techno seeds we first planted
Evolved a mind of its own
Marching in the streets
Dragging iron feet
Laser beaming hearts
Ripping men apart
From off Ive seen my perfection
Where we could do as we please
In secrecy this infection
Was spreading like a disease
Hiding underground
Knowing wed be found
Fearing for our lives
Reaped by robots scythes

Human Comedies (Revised)

Something I love, something I enjoy so much
I do not care whether dead or alive – turning
attention back to an Interpol document about
a foul perpetrator of a heinous crime, a drug
mule profiteering from drug abuse

Gone is a deeper meaningfulness gained by
life’s pensive evaluation, quiet contemplation
of beautiful thoughts, a laser beam diffusing,
diffracting, scattering in another dimension,
away from blind consciousness – gaining

Sense of purpose & satisfaction – but back
to rhythms of repetitious routine lulling me to
sleep, hiding the dazzling joy of creative
activity; blissful experience has to be few
and far between to remain unique

A place in daily consciousness for human
beings to live in small bits of time chipped

Soft Awakening

I love the rain and ice-cold wind of winter proudly
taking its place instead of bowing to this upstart
of a too early summer threatening to derail the
soft awakening of a slow-moving spring

The cold is exhilarating with the wind intoxicating
I joyously sing within its glaciating embrace, lightning
and dark clouds and hailstorms; I tread the softness
of soaked leaves under fragmented trees

Enjoy the fresh, rain-cleansed smell of pavements,
the sky in sophisticated grey, watch the merest hint
of a rainbow turn into an intense laser-light show,
realising how beautiful the green planet earth

Natural wonders keep us alive even when we fail to
notice these marvels, keep us going when we feel
existentially challenged; the last surges of powerful
winter quicken the life force pulsing in my veins

Night Terror

Running scared
Through deserted countryside
Hiding beneath the trees, breath in ragged gasps -
In the dark heavens overhead, tiny 'stars'
Begin to group and cluster;
Random laser striking electric blue, green and red
Scan above the trees and cast eerie shadows;
Looming silently overhead
Massive darkness pulsates, pulsates.
Barely breathing now, every nerve on naked edge
Waiting, waiting.
Huge explosion! Flaming meteors from heaven
Pierce the silent earth at random -
Humans running, falling, vaporized in mid stride -
Screams wrench from frozen throat -
'Help me! help me! '
Instantly aware of surroundings -
Unable to move,
Heart pounding in my ears,
Covers grasped tightly under my chin-

Mellifluous Melody

MELLIFLUOUS MELODY

Chopin's piano keys to zephyr's breeze
mellifluous melody frees feelings, frieze
atemporal captures the essence of one
moonlit reflection, fragility spun,
yet spider silk strong, breasting aeons with ease.

Selene glows great but in envy begrudges
bright beauty - though mortal - night nebulae nudges,
pride of place her's alone while stars twinkle around
more in echo than source of light, laser from ground
rising well into dawn, pale Hyperion fudges.

Notes floating through space are indelibly traced
on dimensions which parallel previously raced,
rhyme and reason combine in a magmatic burst
which fills as it thrills, spills prolonging from first

Dig

We old ones, have seen two wars
When youre sick and afraid
And theres danger around
Take a pick and a spade
And cut into the ground
Away from the light
Away from the sound
Make a trap for the beast
Dig his burial mound
Dig for your life
Dig to the death
Dig for salvation
Till your very last breath
Dig for protection
Dig for release
Dig for resurrection
Dig for peace
We old ones, have seen two wars
When you dream of a laser
That sears your soul

Moment of Clarity

I remember, one November we had our picnic
At the graveyard down your street
On the bodies under our feet
And the cold grey ancient autumn ships
Looked down without a frown
It laughed down without a sound
While the sun hit her face in disgrace
She doesn't see the competition from the human race
Competition from the human race
And now youre wondering, where's it going to end
And now youre wondering, could we begin again
While the laser of immortality, it burns through
All our memories, it cuts through what we want to see
As we spin on our axes
A moment of clarity is all that's required of me
And all other places and other times, they're
Waving goodbye, goodbye
So send me your autumn pledge and please me
Till winter time and I'll send you a
Springtime boy

My Pen Is Weeping Blood / Ma Plume Pleure Du Sang

My pen is mourning the agonies and the sufferings
Of my people, who are drowning in the sea of misery.
My keyboard' strokes are shadowing the slow rhythms
Of the wandering beggar, who's lost in the sanctuary.

My voice denounces the filthy cholera and the injustices,
Which are punishing the weakest souls of the valley.
A tiny oligarchy is meagerly being rewarded;
What a shame for a man-made world corrupted with vices!

My brush defaces the inequality and the imbalance,
Which fool the image of a so called free world.
My laser beams burn the iris of the blind peasants,
Who can now see clearly the mini-sketch of my people.

I am the brother-in law of the cowardly executed poet
And the great-grandson of the poorest assassinated emperor.
I abhor the vanity and the lowliness of mankind in horror,
Oh! Lord, I'm going to read aloud twelve psalms, from my seat.

Around The World

Boy and girl fall in love
Dreamin under stars above
Meanwhile push comes to shove
Around the world.
Leaders fall, leaders rise
Terror wears a thin disguise
Not much room for compromise
Around the world.
Surfers from seven seas
Sharing with the submarines
Experts count war machines
Around the world.
People sweat in planted fields
Students study what is real
Someone builds a laser shield
Around the world.
Fashion change, style change
Fashion change, style change
Fashion change, style change.
Hey! whats that you got on?
