Picasso Moon
South of market in the land of ruin
You get all manner of action
Tinsel tigers in the metal room
Stalking satisfaction.
They got em packaged up for love and money
Tattooed tots and chrome spike bunnies
Check my conscience at the dmz
And roll on in, gonna roll in it, honey
But I get a feelin like when big things collide
Like the crack before the thunder, like I really ought to hide
And here comes metal angel, she looks ready to ride;
& whats that shes tryin to show me..?
Whats that youre tryin to show me..?
Picasso moon, shattered light
Diamond bullets ripping up the night
Picasso moon, liberate me,
From the middle of eternity,
Something hooks her little finger at me,
An its bigger than a drive-in movie, ooooo-eeee.
Bigger than a drive-in movie, ooooo-eeee.

Cubic Picasso Cubism
'Cubism quanta measureless'
is another reality perception phrase
reality surreal continues voyages
was not ‘'Cubism' Picasso’ written
reflecting upon our earlier conversation?
does not our regular discussion upon art
all realities before between after
not enrich perceptive worlds thoughts art
does not Picasso emotion inflict our souls?

Fusion Womanhood
in western nose features
in the still grace of form
in colours sparse informal
Picasso pays homage to Africa
she speaks with her hands
hears with many ears past
stands in poise confidence beauty
free to be a unique appreciated woman
a woman who sees who she wants to be
there is great peace love sage within
many joys to future balance reign
Picasso themes woman equality free

Mamie in Malaga.
Mamie met you
in the base camp bar
in Malaga
her curly red hair
damp from a recent shower
and said
Picasso was born here
In this bar?
you said
No
she moaned
In the city
in 1881
and she took the drink

Woman Playing Guitar
Her breast
fit
like a fruit
in the curve
of the small guitar,
and I
would have been
her Picasso,
some
Spanish afternoon.

Picasso
defined his art as
'une somme des destructions' -
'a sum of destructions' -
a fair definition, too, of
the art of war

That freedom that Picasso afforded himself, to be an artist in a huge number of ways, seems to be a huge psychological liberation.

Picasso
A sacred monster corridor crucified
Creating a fetish against the evil
Swallowed by perceptive realities
In an unlimited freedom of expression
Creating a fetish against the real
To scare off the pictures of mutilations
To scare off the SS Guernica creators
Handing her over into their arms
Saying Go ahead take this little postcard
You made it
A scared monster corridor crucified
Saw all the colours of the blue
Madness the doctors pronounced lol
He said sorry I had no other paint
Picasso sacred Picasso scared
Nailed within a spelling mistake

What Max Wanted
What do you want from me?
Max's wife said
and he looked by her
at the waitress
at the cafe
who was walking
with some order
behind his wife's back
and he noticed
the cute ass as she moved
the way she swayed
and the hands
holding the tray
huh? What is it

I don't think that I'm over his influence but they probably don't look like Picassos; Picasso himself would probably have thrown up looking at my pictures.

Uncleaned Sink
She loved Bach and listened
To him whenever she had the
Chance and while sitting listening
She gazed at her Picasso prints
And sipped the cola she mixed
With vodka and remembered
Ricans trying to make it with her
But she not interested in that
Side of being with him not wanting
To see the all too human side not
Wishing to see that aspect which
Made him all so much like everybody
Else just wanted that part of him
Which sat and listened to Bach and
Gazed at the Picasso prints sipping
Vodka and cola which she hoped made
Him think of higher things than sex
Drugs or the uncleaned bathroom sink.
