Music (The Song)

It plays to my heartstrings...
It is the music to my ears-
...It is the tender love song of my life-
And the refelections of my years...
All in a simple sweet melody-
...The rhythm and harmony flow-
Yes, dancing at my heartstrings-
...The memories, they come and they go...
It is the music of my lifetime-
...It is the gentle refrain, in my head-
'A play it to my soul song'
...Down the road of love-
...I am led...
It is a once, in a lifetime song-
...Forever growing, it is, in me-
It is, a broken heart tune-
...And a haunting melody...
It is the songs of our Nation-
...The Anthems and Hymns...
It is the: 'Glory to the World My Friend, ' song-

Lap Of Luxury

This day i lounge in luxury-
As i pull stars from the sky...
Such amazing sparkling gemstones-
Rasie the passion in my green eyes;

I laze on cushions of white fluff...
From the clouds that dance over my head-
Comfort days-that truly amaze-
With down feathers for my bed;

O such grand luxury has blessed me...
Warmed in my cozy cottage of hay...
Splendour and tranquil moments-abound-
Colours of serenity are, indeed, mine this day;

~Rustic Winter~

Mountains high
Chilled to the bone
Evergreens sigh
Shivering tones
The cold-is a dance
Filled with rustic ambience
With survivors brave stance
Eclectic deep woods and
Deep woods romance
It's just little ole me
And my wise old muse
Out in the cabin
Of most majestic of views'
Snow capped mountains
Delight to the eye
Building a Promethus fire
From high in the sky
Warming up winter cabin
Of cold
Beckoning in all brand new

My Treasure

This is mine...
Safe and locked up...
Hidden from evening shadows;

The fireflies dance around the Moon...
Making ready our Garden...
While the emerald green ivy creeps up the wall;

Remembrance reflects like a mirror...
While an Autumn leaf announces Fall...
My eyes behold your likeness...
Near a Lake Of Glass;

The two of us together (forever) ...
Yes, this is mine...
Only mine to remember...

~Season's Masterpiece~

Fragrant swarms the pollen
Garnishing eaved roof tops
Dizzying aroma's mist o'er
Emerald veiled dales-
Gentle melding of fields O'
Flora-enibriating smells O'
Freshly picked clover
Overwhelming to us...

A dalliance or two while
Traveling a pebbled honed path
Comes awake a hint O' sweet Jasmine
Electri-citing my renewed senses
Following closely in on the tail O'
A moon beam...
My heart 'tis dancing through air
Dawn much like the twiglight
(the entering and exiting of light)
Revering blue skies coming and going-
Interrupted mid-day by a rainbow erecting

Awaiting June~~~

The mourning doves run rife through the Mimosa
While a deluge of California sun beats down
Everywhere is getting acquainted with somewhere
While the bougainvillea leave their fingerprints all around;
Messengers are still a little invisible-
As many a blind eye might attest--
Windows of Springtime sunsets prevail
Surviving the mountains out west;
The in between of the seasons is nearing...
Awaiting in the trails- is the sizzling of June-
Bathing itself in warmth, a bit early, is May
Impatient for that perfect Summer Moon;
So here's to the Seasons of flowers and the shore
The woodlands and mountains so high
Spectators to the greenhouses of seasons & mighty sea
Welcoming all with a most longing sigh;
Two seasons dancing together...
Near to the riverbanks are the Pheasant and Quail
Past experience has truly taught us
That Sun and Blue Sky oft' times prevail;

Verdicts~

Voices of truth always take notes
While judgements embrace their release
Mysteries of unknown origins
Move in this labyrinth, never to cease;
Margins of grey area's meet in the middle
Much as strangers of an unreal dream
Running naked with reckless abandon
Witnesses celebrate the fabric of life's torn seams;
A jury of peers comes back with a verdict:
It was a guiltless collision of minds
Set free to dance again, with the wind
Free-the unfathomed harbingers of crime! ;

The Photograph

There is something about black and white-
.In pictorial images
Reproduced upon the surfaces of yesterday;
The Earth-The Sky-The Sea....
All sensitive to light
.Much as our skin to the sun-
It's radiant energy oft' sizzling;
Or perhaps capturing Falls leaves in dance
Or a Spring of hailstones;
The rooster at dawn-
A fires lone ember
.Your face in the moonlight
Your smile in the rain;
Yes, there is something about black and white-
And there IS something about this photograph of you!

The Big Candy Apple

New York City is hoppin'
The Big Apple is Candy-Red
Times Square is quite an affair
Never mind the thoughts slinking outta our heads;

The lights of broadway are neon flashin'
The Rocketts are doin' their dance-
New York City is hoppin'
All glamour-all glitz-all romance;

Forgive me if i miss ya
'Cause i've got so much here to do
The Big Apple has called out to me
And i'm busy takin' in the view;

The Statue of Liberty she beckons
Central Park is bidding me to come as well
So much to do and so little time left
And riding the subways can be h-! ;

Masquerade Ball

What is this?
A masquerade 'cross the sky?

Where the clouds cover the Moons Full face -
And the rainbows, colour-tint our eyes?

Sending out candy kisses -
A million and one stars, to shine -

Floating 'cross the atmosphere -
'Tis a good friend of mine.

The Galaxy 'tis wide open -
The door 'tis left ajar -

No Keepers of The Gates -
No more, wandering star -

A Masquerade in The Solar System?
Super Nova's and Meteorites-a glimpse, to a show?

Garden Wall

The ivy 'tis climbing the Olde Garden Wall...
Leaving green memory not too far behind--
While the later zephyrs of Summer dance ever near...
'Tis a perfect picture out of days past time;
Oh-the Golden of memories-sweetest...
How it plays iteself in my minds eye...
Gentle surrender-in Loves Garden-tender...
'Neath a canopy of Summer Blue sky;
Paint me a picture again won't you?
Make it verdant and blossomed anew--
Give it the peace and serenity so needed--
Brush stroke perfect again-my loving moments with you;

Lady Silver Hair

I am a Phantom of the opera
My breeze it unties the air
I have blue whispered vison's
And some very long silver hair

I dance down romance lane
That the Roses paved today
Glistening aromatic petals
Of a velvet-toned petal inlay

Whispers of private promises
Softly move throughout this space
Encounters of Origami lovers
Come at last face to face

While in the background
Playing a mystical mandolin
Pulsing out the melodies
Of where true love begins

When

When Golden Ages just fly-
Fly-fly-high away...
And Saturn just passes by-
By-by-into the sky-to stay;

When generations of citizens celebrate...
And dance near mid-air...
When day-dreamers of an era-
Are oh-so-devil-may care;

When the Golden Goose layed her egg...
And time-as we know it-flew...
Back in the day of the Argonauts...
The day-i found myself in you;

When in that day-so surreal...
I consented to my hand...

Schemer

So what if it hurts me?
You carelessly dancing with the Sun...
Mired deeply in your belicose attitude...
Feeling no remorse of what you have done.

Much as a Basilisk slightly hidden in the tropics...
Whose lethal breath and glance completely destroys...!
Your persona 'tis inflamed with a choleric attitude...
You-who-are so easily annoyed.

So what if it hurts me?
As fear deliquesces my weary soul...
Tormented beyond the pale-Master of no remorse...
Much needed comaraderie should instead be your goal.

Your diaphanous persona has broken my being...
All stuck in a bourgeous cow trodden town...
We are searching for euphonious tones this day...
While your existentialism makes you responsible for schemes we found.

Villa Jovial

On my way to the Villa Jovial,
The Summer Mist Christening-
The grass with dew,
Stood a marble pillar standing,
Proud and erect-
Creating an opening to a:
Most breathtaking view...
The waters looked so inviting,
With backdropp of waves
Tidal flows-
Kissed by the Sweet Golden Arrows-
Shot by Match-Maker-Love-God-Eros-
On the way to the Villa Jovial,
Jupiter influences the ebb and flow,
Incantations of Mystical
Themed spells-
Directing the tourists towards the glow...
Ah, the Mediteranean-
As it meets the Aegean for a dance,
On the way to the Villa Jovial-

Passing Over

No comfort for me in
The valley of Scorn
So little empathy for
Me in the grave
Treaded upon by the
Mighty men
From the Ruling Nth
Brigade
Savage eyes they burn me
Melting me stoic as stone
And in the Flash Of Thunder Dance
My body becomes charred bone
Soon it will be: ashes to ashes
Underneath a Mourning Veil
Dust-to-Dust will haunt both of us
But in the end-goodness shall prevail
The funeral pyre-it rattles me
And insenses my psyche's whole
Broken in my heart of hearts
Death-it takes its toll

Saving Grace

Insecurity 'twas my banner
In shambles i wore it so well
Knocked down and trodded upon
I reached the bowel's of hell

No self esteem could ever save me
From bitter words and lies
Sticking me with sharp daggar's
Cutting me with their slicing eyes

Defenceless i lay grieving
Upon my mourning bed
Knowing full well i'd been defeated
From viscious word that were said

Telling me i would never be much
Maybe just an ignorant whore
They continued to belittle my psyche
'Til i couldn't take anymore

Eden's Gifts

Come gentle to me, my loving embrace
'Neath the Willow Tree...
Let us, both together, entwine
Through the vine, of Our Eternity.

Come closer, to the shoreline, love
The alibaster sands, they await...
The swaying Palms, dance in perfect rhythm
Near the islands, arched bamboo gate.

Allow us, to dwell, for some time and again
In the Teal Seaweed and Olive Moss...
With tender caresses, together wrapped up
So that we shall never suffer one anothers loss.

Spread sweet honey, 'cross my longing navel
And fresh coconut milk upon my deep pink lips
Touch and tempt my Pearl of excitation...
Bring both of us, ever sweet-sweet bliss.

Masquerade's, Aliases and Lies~

Kerri spread her velvet wings
And took to the sky to fly
Into nature and the light that was good
Deep through clouds of the azure sky;
Flying ever so far-far away from
A bird who's sadistic had gotten out of control
Her once battered wings, now mended
As well, as her once tormented soul;
'He was a demon in disguise', she exclaimed
'Cleverly hidden under feathers refined'
'Dangerous, brutal-a female hater'
'So unkind and deranged of mind'
Demented, yes he was so demented
A virtual volcano of record breaking size
With his lava spewing-red hot molten
Well hidden 'neath a bird of preys disguise;

August Leading...

The shadows were closing in...
But then, came mention, from a good friend
...Caressed by the summer sun,
Taken in, by the nights that you send!

Where is it that you are taking me?
...The screen has decreed our Zen,
I shall not fight our fated day-
...But, I shall ask you, when?

So hypnotized and in a trance-
...mesmerized for all to see,
Your magic Spell, has done very well...
But where is it, that your leading me?
