Natures Firefly

Fireflies in the rose garden
Evenings cover a blanket of black
Locked securely over the galaxy
To the moon and all the way back;

Mirrored in the storms images
Dancing in droplets before my eyes
Unfolding in a glimmer-shimmer...
Are the brillant fireflies;

Hovering over a moistened leaf...
Lightening flashes upon shadowed lanes
Near to the lakes showered landing...
Come fireflies in the rain;

Indian Summer Wonder

What is this field of flowers?
With cover of blue sky & Autumn sun?
Roses still abloom aplenty
Even as frosty day has begun
Marveling at the forms and shapes of it all
I wander myself down the violet lane
Noting the perfection of this Indian Summer
The self-blazing flowers call out my name
The motion of the wind in the tree branches
Dress up this discrete journey i am on
Caterpillar moves slowly along one of its leaves
As the Warblers break forth in new song
Glorious-glorious Autumn simply dances
As delicious pumpkin and spice fill the air
Indian Summer romances this Earths landscape
While i kneel for a: Thanksgiving Prayer
Praying for all of this goodness to always be
Asking for many a glorious days noon
Basking in this hour of breath-taking splendour
While embracing a most brillant Harvest moon

Bedraggled scarecrows cry in the wind
While Blackbirds caw to the trees
As if, voices from the once green wood
While the dead leaves blow free;
Rustles of burnished remnants dance
In visions the gold dying leaf
A pause and wait but never late
As Fall carries in her grief;
Relentless winds of change court September
Descending now-a lifetime of Fall
Season's change make no excuses
For September has, indeed, come to call;

I implore you to listen to reason-
Your day will surely come
Dancing in the clouds of sunny season
Smiling wide when day is done;

I implore you to take some time--
Before you step way too high-
Embrace the sea level wisely
Heed the call from the sky;

I implore you to journey with caution--
For enemies hide behind smiling eyes--
Explore your every option
Before your final good-bye;

Dancing? ? ?

Your music 'tis filled with rubatos-
A slow dance gone very wrong-
Surrounded by my guardian angels-
With Gods forgiveness, i sing His Psalms.

His light shining brightly-
His leading of my way-
On the straight and narrow path-
Where Gods children play.

Rumors gone wild for three decades-
Laced with treacherous adjectives-
Believe none of what you hear-
And only a fourth of what you see.

Lost in your music as always-
I am afraid i just cannot follow-
Your tempo 'tis too dark and unforgiving-
A slow dance that is much too hollow.

After The Rain

I missed you the other day
When the dew left its diamond glitter upon the grass
And the squirrels and frogs were frolicking merry
When the silence of daybreak calmed
And the sunrise ever warmed
With its gentle rays dancing across my skin
Giving me hints of a fluffy white cloud or two
Promising an entire new day
Of peace and contentment
A perfect day-this
But for the glaring-almost blindingly-blazing
Absence of you

Forest Bedroom

Secure in your heated arms...
Protected from Falls plantiff chill...
Aglow in the pleasure of your face--
Flushed as the burnished leaves upon Autumns hill;

Our bed is of russet and gold--
Natures humble crinkled spread---
Encompassed by semi-balding trees...
Autumns euphoria fills my head;

The winds brisk as in this bliss i feel with you...
The colours of our love-bonfire glow...
Safe and ecstatic in Falls loving embrace...
Two hearts beat dancing-in sweet love-they grow;

Somewhere in the dessert
She sits alone
Totally unraveled
To strings of past desire
In antiscipation of an oasis
Peeking into the sand
She sees his face
Absolute reflection of her need
A bouquet of hues of longing
Turns softly into the here and now
Her fragile woven existance
Weaves love into tender feelings
But 'tis it just a tale she has
Penned in vain?
Her desire 'tis uncovered
Chillingly into the reality of an

Clouds rush the cathedral of your sky
While the sun pours over the meadows of sleepy ferns
Filling the atmosphere with more air
Autumn trees are running thread bare
While he dancing birch weave their magic
Looking for answers you walk your sacred path
You are a sovereign nation unto yourself
Bearing no sorrow nor wrath
'Tis yours, 'tis yours-'tis your bounty-your wealth
Consecrated in the divine of your sacred

The Summer sunset washes over me
Into a Lily-White brillance i am led
With incredible dancing shadows falling
I make -the Ivy's leaves- my bed;
I lay me down in this Sovereign Nation-
True Aristocrats-they are the night
I sleep myself through- the eboned hours
Slumbering 'til morn's shimmering light;
Oh, to be as free as a bird on the wing
Dressed in the mornings glorious Dawn-
Lifting myself ever gently into the Sapphire Blue
Just a glimpse of fluttering feathers-blink -and i am gone!

And Spring Has Sprung

The day seems to have taken its leave...
Putting itself on instant delay;
Dancing 'round the razors edge of raindrops--
Lost in the misted praise...
Its beauty leans to within a degree of my deep sleep;
Whitewashed and splashed with sunbeams...
Spectrums of colours form at sky level....
Rushing through the leaves of the trees the wind takes a stand...
Flourishing in Springs verdance the green excites. Openings in the sod grow with new sprouts...
Over time the wilderness breaks itself open--
Harmonys tune resonates in high notes over the violets--
A sure sign that Spring has sprung;

I see your smiling face
Looking at me from across the room
Emptying all time and all space

I stand in a daze as if in a trance
Beguiled by one so bold
Taking in the swagger of your sexy walk
So hot, i will never again be cold

Is this what they mean by enraptured?

Holy Week

Dancing in the winds of Spring-
Golden coils of blessings appear...
Dappled in for-get-me-nots so blue...
And caressed by my many tears;

Mystic Rainbows still enchant and ease-
In a kalidascope of multi- coloured hues...
The Sea Of Galilees coral reefs and Godly beliefs...
Paint for all of us a much clearer view;

The men who have torn us assunder...
Go against The Spirits Holy Word...
They shall not prevail but surely shall fail...
Assured in Sermons upon the Mount clearly heard;

Good Friday still makes me weep...
As His suffering was way beyond the pale...
But the celebration of His ascension on Easter Sunday...
Eases some of my deepest travails;

Magic Man

In the early hours of eve
As his lips lay kisses upon the night
While he 'tis dancing with me
The Moon and the Stars take flight

A mighty caress of thunder's tear drops
Begin to cascade from clouds so high
There is this voice that whispers
Yet so deep it fills the sky

'Tis a sacred moment this
When the Magic Man* raises his head
All visions of power and wonder
Are taken in by the master and fed

Through the rhapsody of sheer longing
Veiled in visions that hold whats true
Your voice and magnetic eyes do claim me

This Thing Of Ours

In the twilight of this quiescent moment-
I peruse this thing of ours-
Querying this palpable abtruse connection-
Am i deluded or wrongly perceived by the stars?

Has the universe literally taken me for a ride?
Perhaps upon an illicit comet 'round the sun?
Causing abhorrent disregard for my well being-
Vaporizing in a luminous tail, out west when day is done...?

Convoluted conundrums are borne in the daylight-
All the while under the eye in the sapphire sky-

Misantrope

Swift footed- manical Zeus...
Cuts through ones flesh with his sword-
Ordaining the happenings of his legion
Leaving the God Apollo-less adored;
Common sense infuriates him...
So addled- deep in his Garden of green
Misantrope and failing Oracle...! ! !
Determind by the Acropolis to be very mean;
Calculating each and every movement...
Poison from the Adders livid tongue
Dancing with his Asp of terminations
Zeus's heroics-always unsung;
Evil and deceptive in his dealings...
Athens 'tis crawling with spies-
A can of worms for Venus and her lover-his gift...
Uranus 'tis falling from the sky;
Oh, let us not forget the sea of the Aegean...
Whose waters are: forever blue...
Elizabethan citys have never changed...
