Like an eagle
in distant altitude
(only it was the other way around)
I watched you
swaying like yellow daffodils
your sweet pollens
failing to reach me

Vertiginously, I mused
on my poor magnitude
like chess pieces
with no other move
deadlocked into
a struggle fortified
by the taste of defeat

Two Rings Under a Bloody Rug

My perspectives lessen with the very ballrooms I've crept in,
The swaying dancers that waltz along the quilted beige silk,
In each hand is a sweat that remembers a bet,
This bet that lingers under their dancing quartet,
This bet may have been forgotten between a ode to regret,
A ring here, a thought there, a check nearest to chess,
Consider it done, their favorite pronunciation towards lies,
So pack up, dim the lights, watch them leave the room softly,

Mental Asylum

Most blacks speak through ebonics
Most whites think we should get hooked on phonics
Our brain cells are enslaved by mental slavery
With racism as its barriers
You should break from this state for heaven sakes
If you don’t than you always be a enslave that’s checkmate
Your mind isn’t your own all twisted into twirls
Walking with ignorance for the next man
Cause they didn’t inherit your beliefs of the next-gen
Carved in our brain that will never go away like a bloody gag
You should open your horizons so you’ll never have a cold hand

Prison isn’t where you find your passage in
Mental stability is where you should pack your bags up in
This world for far too long has been constructed through slavery and bondage
Worse than forcefully being fed poison through the abdomen
When you finally stretch your mind you march alongside me
The inflation, the recession, the prisons are the footsteps of this nation
False propaganda is worsening your thoughts and your psychology

Smiles sweet
With a wink
A saint in all her glory

If in areas like physics, chemistry, etc., many scientific findings are based on scientific experiments, behold, by the aid of computer methods can be powerful and effective tools for testing and demonstrations. For example, I can give the solutions to the following problems: the 4 colors (1977), combinatorial problem that underlies the backtracking method (method of artificial intelligence); smart chess program (historic defeat of Russian champion Garry Kasparov in front of Deep Blue in May 1997 in New York) defeating the man; the completion code sequences for the human genome, DNA (2005). Obviously there are many situations in mathematics when not in use computer.

Elegy

Here rests beneath this hospitable spot
A youth to flats and flatties not unknown.
The Plymouth Brethren gave it to him hot;
Trinity, Cambridge, claimed him for her own.

At chess a minor master, Hoylake set
His handicap a 2. Love drove him crazy;
Thrre thousand women used to call him “pet”;
In other gardens daffodil or daisy?

He climbed a lot of mountains in his time.

He had the gift of laughing at himself.

Dismissal

A child is not picked up after practice.
School is over. Nothing left but the
late afternoon, ungraded activities....
soccer, band, chess club. No more
expectations. Hangers-on have nothing to gain.
If you are not alone, its a fine time to talk.
Hallways are empty, dusty and echoing. A
locker around the corner bangs shut. A whistle
blows in the gym. The band butchers a door-muted
rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.
A young life is so many school days and they all
drain as slowly as a clogged sink.

Forty years ago Jay and I had both read
'A Catcher In The Rye'. I cant even remember
Jay's last name, but he told me I reminded him
of Holden Caulfield and I am still flattered.

Checkmate

I look the other way.
To all my friends listen tell me what you hear.
The wind telling your secrets.
Feeding the face of rumors.
Fiction or fact doesn't matter the body is still intact.
A chance to get angry.
A chance to over react.
A chance to truly think back.
What did you do wrong?
What is it what you said, that left the room complete dead?
I could hear the pin hit that hard ground before it ever came.
A prediction of more of the same.
In chess I play this game.
Where one piece is given up for the king.
Almighty and defending.
An opening is but in the making.
And their just waiting take her.
But the right moment decides the game.
And it is all mine with just a pawn.

Whatever plans we may make, we shall find quite useless when the time for action comes. Revolutions are always full of surprises, and whoever thinks he can play chess with a revolution will soon find how terrible is the grasp of God and how insignificant the human reason before the whirlwind of His breath. That man only is likely to dominate the chances of a Revolution, who makes no plans but preserves his heart pure for the will of God to declare itself. The great rule of life is to have no schemes but one unalterable purpose. If the will is fixed on the purpose it sets itself to accomplish, then circumstances will suggest the right course; but the schemer finds himself always tripped up by the unexpected.

In Colombo heating
And cost of living flies high
Like a sky rocket
But they play cricket outdoor.
A poor man bowls to a well to do batsman

Skinny umpire raises hardly his rickety both hands to the sky
And marked as six for the batsman!
In Alaska freezing, children play snow ball on mountain peaks
And the diabetic father who runs to the world's edge
And he pees, the longest frozen sugar rod and it goes to the Record book!
In middle East boiling, Centigrade hundred or Fahrenheit two hundred and twelve it seems.
A brother kills his own brother for Democracy
And the tyrant King hides in a Harem
And play chess with concubines
That goes to the modern civilization!

Luke's Wall/War Pigs

Generals gathered in their masses
just like witches at black masses
evil minds that plot destruction
sorcerers of death's construction
in the fields the bodies burning as the war machine keeps turning
