the Eternal Question
THE ETERNAL QUESTION
She was just a child, really,
A girl of sixteen,
when Stanford White took her
in a champagne fueled dream.
White was an architect of great renown,
He had designed the Garden at Madison Square.
He had designs on this chorus girl now,
whose raven haired beauty drew many men’s stares.
He had dined her and wined her
They had toasts with Champagne
On a red velvet swing
In his quarters they played.
In a room full of mirrors
A virgin lay down
When she awoke the next morning

Ice Melts
Ice melts
Like my dejected self sheds tears.
Ice melts
Like your diverted love weds liars.
Once far away in the lagoons of my past
A swan sailed till it was tired.
But now in the deserts of my present
A vulture snails till it is fired.
Ice melts
As the sun unknown rages, they say.
Ice melts
As the run unwon glares, they say.
I hold my stick downward ever
And move on the way forward ever.
Ice melts
And my pheonix waits...

Some Prefer To Keep It Frozen
Honesty can be that one gift received,
To be quickly unwrapped to wear.
With a daring that is flaunted.
And exposing it to everyone,
To prove a truth living within...
Exists and is shown everywhere.
Unfortunately...
Not everyone welcomes this gift to receive.
With a keeping it under wraps.
To pack away in one's attic.
Or...
Stored in one's basement.
To leave it frozen in a freezer,
With a thawing no one will ever see at all.
A shocking honesty and truth can awe.
A shocking honesty and truth can awe.
A shocking honesty and truth can awe.
Some prefer to keep frozen,

We are told that we die to be born in the form of the energy of the universe. Your father will surely be the subtle autumn wind that will caress your thoughts, in the spring thaw of the reborn symphonies and even in your love that will fulfill you

As Soon As The Frozen Snow Melts To Go
Frozen is the snow.
Melting it will go,
Away...
When Spring begins again.
And flowers bright will bloom.
And I...
Want to be that one,
To share...
This Spring that comes with you.
Walking like we'll do...
With a budding we'll get to know,
As soon as the frozen snow...
Melts to go.
And flowers bright will bloom to gow...
With a budding we'll get to know,
As soon as the frozen snow...
Melts to go.

The Cold War isn't thawing; it is burning with a deadly heat. Communism isn't sleeping; it is, as always, plotting, scheming, working, fighting.

Better Kept Wrapped
Yes.
I am an Aquarian.
And not into heat that's humidified.
I am a 'let-the-snow-fall'...
Up Uranus, Winter loving air sign.
All that heat and people on the streets,
Clinging onto dripping sweat?
Naw...
That part of Summer,
I'd like to forget.
Melting snow reminds me of seeing...
Meat thawing
And some meat I've seen thawing in Summer...
Would be better kept wrapped.
And thrown back into the freezer.
Doing everyone a favor,
If not seen.

Water Anew
From mountain high to valley low, the warmth of springs thaw runoff comes clear cold water from the melting snow.
Spring rain, cool and clear, mist and fog, early morning's dew, creeks, rivers, lakes renew.
Though mud stained from the thaw, the water soon will clear, life sustaining, life anew.
With summer weather comes light or heavy rains, sprinkle, mist or fog, life sustaining, life anew.
With autumn arrives the cold, then frost, soon after winter follows, sleet and snow, water turns to ice.
Though covered with ice and winters snow, the water in creeks, rivers and lakes renew until springs thaw, the water still flows.
Whether spring, summer, autumn or winter, water, life sustaining, life anew.

Snowman (Love Poem)
Sitting here in this heat, thinking slow,
Your last night loving thaws my icy soul,
This silly snowman loves the feeling as,
My cold-cold heart is melting to you love.
