A Pearls Worth

Silver pearls fall down her skin
She knows she must do it for she can't stay strong
For all she has to do is count to ten
She knows he's always wrong

Silver pearls fall down her face
In the dead of night, it is so dark
She stands in the room with fear, with hate
In her soul the pain he gave has left its mark

Silver pearls fall on the barrel
As she holds the gun in her hands

Black Pearl

Black Pearl
Black Pearl is my new car,
I have driven her quite far.
Up to South Carolina
and then on to the Midwest,
Black Pearl held up the very best.
She was a blessing sent to me,
she arrived on September 23.
I had to go out of town,
Car salesmen didn’t want me to breakdown.
So he gave me a sweet deal,
I got in Black Pearl on drove off with a thrill.
Black Pearl took me to Texas during Christmastime,
I visited with family and made it back just fine.
On way back stopped in Oklahoma to see friend,
this was all in year 2010.
Now Black Pearl is still with me,
I make she is maintained and she drives me safely.

The Peril of Her Pearl

In the center of her breast a dangerous pearl found its nest.
A myriad of wondrous color it changes her mood with mighty vigor.
In love it's a pale tint of pinkish white,
In hate it's a ebony lavender tainted night.
Streaming vibrantly, fervidly through her veins
Its substance burns until control it obtains;
She touches it and with vivacious forces her pearl coerces
Her simple mind, her innocent love-

Pearls Of Wisdom

Every author that I know,
will at some time or other,
hand out a small pearl of wisdom,
in his or her work somewhere.
It does not matter in what genre
in which they choose to write
their pen will slip one day
and a small pearl of wisdom
will spill out and come our way.
We are all creatures of choice
and authors are no exception to the rule
in that once you have written one pearl
you can guarantee
more pearls will follow.

Pearls of Wisdom

Pearls of wisdom as never before, from the mouth of Christ our Lord,
Speaking words with authority, that come from the Throne of Eternity.
A wisdom which exceeded Solomon, whose heart was divided by sin,
Christ, with a heart perfectly pure, spoke words that will surely endure.

Pearls of wisdom, pure and divine, words spoken, for men of all time,
Directed to every tribe and nation; words of our Lord God’s Salvation.
Salvation sent from God above, through His Son, to show us His love,
Love that exceeded wisdom of earth, and received through a new birth.

Pearls of wisdom not well embraced, by many whom Christ had faced,
Although in God these men believed, Christ by them was not received.
Much of His wisdom is contrary to, that human reason of me and you,
But Christ’s Wisdom is greater than, all of that wisdom of worldly men.

Pearls of wisdom to all will come, to those who truly know God’s Son,
And dare to give their life to Him, Christ, who saves men from their sin.
Sin which blinds the minds and ways, of the many world leaders today,
And in their wisdom they cannot see, God’s timeless Truths of Eternity.
