Antarctica
Antarctica -- antarctica
Antarctica -- antarctica
Ice age is here, right in your town
Antarctica, look what youve done
And i, I feel like Ive cheated your scheme
And i, I feel like you really know what I mean
Nightfalls heartbeat, the streets in a mess
On reflector, the beach is endless
And i, I feel like Ive cheated your scheme
And i, I feel like you really know what I mean
Its my turn -- its my turn
Antarctica -- antarctica
No day, no night, and always the sound
Ice pressure ? ? (antarctica)
Its me thats found
And i, I feel like Im really part of your scene
And i, I feel like you know what I mean
Pictures moving, and always the whirls
Antarctica, where are you now (antartica)
And i, I feel like Im really part of your scheme

My Antarctica
Once ago, when I was in control,
But that was just, another trick of fate
Playing with my life
There have been some times,
I was so tied up and I said to myself,
Gotta break it all, but didnt really try
Two hearts beating in this place youve made -
You know nothing changes... oooh my antarctica.
You can make your rhymes
And paint your rules in black and white
For me to memorize, but never understand.
And there will be time, for a thousand vows
And a thousand promises we forgot, to be realized
Two hearts beating in this place youve made -
You know nothing changes... oooh my antarctica.
One life pumping, we make love to make our heat
And we throb in... my antarctica.
(oh-oh oohh ohh ohh)
Well keep the rhythm going, and we remember.
Well keep the laughter flowing, and we remember.

Earthquakes And Tsunami
Some scientists had located a missing geological piece therefore,
They found a puzzle of plate tectonics in the Southwest Pacific Ocean.
East and West Antarctica had spread twenty six million years before.
The rift between them opened one hundred miles due to this motion.
The scientists had clearly described how the Pacific tectonic plate,
The North American plate and others have moved at different points in time.
As one plate moves, the adjoining one is affected and there were adequate
Theories about plate moves, earthquakes, tsunami and changing the clime.
One plate affects the other one because the mantle was planetary pieced
In a plate tectonics jigsaw puzzle, named the 'global plate circuit' mystery.
Zones around the Antarctic Ross Sea and the West rift were imbalanced,
Pushing other plates and this fact has been a mystery for a quarter century.
Knowing about the plate motion around Antarctica is an important key
To understand the motions between the Pacific and North American plate,
To understand better than before the East and West Antarctica geology
And to determine the plate motions in California, until it is not too late.

This is as astonishing as if we'd flown past Earth and found that Antarctica was warmer than the Sahara.

One of the things that made me persist in the Antarctic in the face of sickening discouragements was my determination to name a portion of the earth's surface after my father.

Consider this: I can go to Antarctica and get cash from an ATM without a glitch, but should I fall ill during my travels, a hospital there could not access my medical records or know what medications I am on.

If Antarctica were music it would be Mozart. Art, and it would be Michelangelo. Literature, and it would be Shakespeare. And yet it is something even greater; the only place on earth that is still as it should be. May we never tame it.

As a scientist, my attention became totally focused on global warming some 15 years ago by the elegant and powerful measurements of carbon dioxide trapped in ice cores taken as much as 2 miles deep from the great East Antarctica ice sheet.

For The Loneliness
There's one remedy,
If one tries to grab the solitude-
I approach to Antarctic,
Seals disturb me.
The strugle for own's existence,
vividly appears-
Blood spreads among the bondings,
So common are the incidents.
The pack hunts down,
scream spills in the air-
Union is the sense of intimacy,
these exhibit the courage.
Antarctic can't be lonely,
In search of eternal solitude-
I grab my index,
And there lies the space.

Penguins are extraordinarily like children, these little people of the Antarctic world, either like children, or like old men, full of their own importance and late for dinner, in their black tail-coats and white shirt-fronts — and rather portly withal.

Formation
Katabatic winds scarce ruffle
the Emperor's resolute feathers.
An Antarctic winter shuffle
bands brooding fathers together.
Enfolded eggs, warmed by sanguine hearts
are balanced on icy clawed feet.
Penguins on the outer are ramparts
for the huddle's collective heat.
Waves ripple through close knit ranks.
Shrill rasping vibrato calls
rally the circulating flanks;
windward edge to lee, stoic walls.
Blizzards strafe lines weakened by fast.
Such unstinting paternal care
and dogged duty may be classed
a basic urge, but is this fair?
Effort requires monumental will.
Emperors who lack such are riven.
Labelled as love or instinct, still
either way, Life is hard driven.

Great Beauty Past And Present
Think of all the great beauty
still remaining in this world...
on land beaches rivers mountains
at sea beneath the ocean waves
all the species of incredible fishes
uncounted diverse marine life
in the air birds the fliers
insects in their myriads
bats gliders like squirrels
once flying also were pterosaurs
155 million years of powered flight
found on every continent except
Antarctica yet with over sixty genera
discovered and flight skills equal
or exceeding birds (pterosaurs' had

“Where do I go now? ” he asks the young man
He says ask me young man
Not what places I have gone to
Ask me what place have i
Not gone.
Antarctica.
Now, I have no other place to
Go
Except inside myself,
There is no jet
No cruise
Not even a raft
Inside me, and this will be
Young man
The hardest travel that
I must take,

Ten percent of the big fish still remain. There are still some blue whales. There are still some krill in Antarctica. There are a few oysters in Chesapeake Bay. Half the coral reefs are still in pretty good shape, a jeweled belt around the middle of the planet. There's still time, but not a lot, to turn things around.

The Cold Part
So long to this cold, cold part of the world
So long to this bone-bleached part of the world
So long to this salt-soaked part of the world
I stepped down as president of antarctica
Cant blame me
Dont blame me
So long to this sad, sad part of the world
So long

Winds
Trapped in your body
a city starts
screaming.
The master has broken off
a huge iceberg.
An Antarctica is burning
like hermitage
from the spark of a red robe.
Lips are riddled
with lies.
No face is left
to smile.
Ruthless with the words
and meanings,
they have manipulated the winds.

Chagrin Falls
By design by neglect
For a fact or just for effect
When they met where they connect
At the confluence of travel and sex
More a trip than a quest
Plunged into the deeply freckled breast
Where to now? If I had to guess
I'm afraid to say Antarctica's next
or Chagrin Falls

The Fortitude Of The North
_Under the Disaster of the Second Manassas_
They take no shame for dark defeat
While prizing yet each victory won,
Who fight for the Right through all retreat,
Nor pause until their work is done.
The Cape-of-Storms is proof to every throe;
Vainly against that foreland beat
Wild winds aloft and wilder waves below:
The black cliffs gleam through rents in sleet
When the livid Antarctic storm-clouds glow.
