High desire
Mutual ecstacy

Losing Hope

I got a faulty parachute
I got a stranger's friend
An exciting change in
My butchers blend
A symbol on the ceiling
With the flick of a switch
My new found hero
In the enemy's ditching

Well somebody's something was left in the room
And man

Hoping Someone Is Convinced

If anyone follows another,
To the edge of a cliff...
And claim not to know it?
Either has done it prepared,
With a parachute strapped their back.
Or stands hoping someone is convinced,
They visit from a different neighborhood.
And thought they were touring to uncover,
An assortment of aspects others sought...
To revitalize the area.

Junk

Motor cars, handle bars
Bicycles for two
Broken hearted jubilee
Parachutes, army boots
Sleeping bags for two
Sentimental jamboree
Buy buy
Says the sign in the shop window
Why why
Says the in junk the yard
Candlesticks, building bricks
Some old and new
Memories for you and me
Buy buy
Says the sign in the shop window
Why why
Says the in junk in the yard

Summer Oh Summer

time to keep moving
walk a trail
trek a mountain
climb to the peaks
go beyond mists and fog
go agog
walk the plateaus
volley the valleys
go high on cliffs
hang and jump
and let go
on a pack of
parachute
fall on the deep river
ride the rage
swim and kick
and join the fall
of the waterfall
wrestle the alligator
coil with the snakes

The guard

We were observing, doing recognisance
on a enemy camp, had parachuted in
during the night, dropping from very high
and my comrades and I had leopard crawled,
catwalked from dark patch to dark patch,
from shadow to shadow
using the cover of knee high grass
and with the sun rising
was in a dense small bush

reporting back on tanks and armoured cars,
the number of soldiers seen,
how battle ready they seemed
when a little boy herded a few goats
and with a bone thin dog came along
and I let them go, not being able
to kill them as the enemy
and almost immediately we had to leave.

Soon hundreds of enemy soldiers

To Meet Another Day

In the shower
Her tears mingle with the steel rimmed faucet
Artificial downpours ignescent libations
Parachuting raindrops
On the pours of her late summers sinews
Both releasing and imprisoning
Her thoughts meditations
To the disasters of the past
And the future inference
As vapour breaths of dew exhume the room
Entrapping its occupants
With hopes of quite gloom
Safe in the mechanics of volcanic rain
Blanketing the porcelain of her flesh tender pink
She holds onto the air expecting a miracle
To materialize in a magic box of Gods tricks
But none do show
Preferring to stay silent
with trademark anonymity
As the child she loves

Le prestige mystérieux s’est entr’ouvert ;

Dont le pas à jamais vibre au fond de l’écho ;

Nirvana Blue

I just jumped out in the open
Without knowing if my parachute would save me
Its quiet and peaceful in this emotional nirvana blue
cause taking off was so easy
But landing very rough
No tears
No smile
Not even the urge to cry
Your portrait is fading
Raw canvas remaining
As a white page in my soul

Globe Of Parachutes

Dandelion seeds float upwards on the wind,
Climbing high and cruising lazily on.
Downy tufts of canopies so fine,
Each one gliding out of sight, and gone.

A cycle repeated every year the same,
Colonizing the ground with fresh new plants,
As we with a puff of breath, disturb the globe
Of parachutes, and so assist their dance.

Bright vibrant blooms in banks and meadows found.
Yellow spheres, illuminate eye and mind.
Such optimists who bravely shine their gold,
Across out land, a feast for all to find.

A Psychedelic God - A Thank You Note

The drift of a percussion nib
A mental voyager, a bohemian cosmonaut
Exploring uncharted frontiers of the whimsical mind
In the vastness, the infinitude of galactic spaces
Perforating ingenious black holes
Chutes of inspiration, free falling to the plea of gravities
As the wandering mind chisels on stone paper
Its journeys and treks, legendary tales exuding the essence
Of an overgenerous chimera, surpassing sight's farthest prophecies
Cerebral odysseys transcending mythical epics, medieval folklore
To capture the nomadic spirit, yet the exemplary purity
Of the suppleness of creation, masterminded
By another horizon-less wayfarer, an apical journeyman
A celestial potter, nom de plume ‘Lord the creator'
As a humble poet parts with a thanksgiving note
For the gift of a boundless providence, to sketch his own tale of fatum
As he tributes the imaginative force of a psychedelic God

Another Excuse! Another Lie!

I dreamt of Utopia,
Where I loved my neighbor’s wife –
Tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, and more
– Her Vegetarians’ Paradise

Like Monet’s work, the sun effuses
To Minnie Pearl in this night of my version
With Snoopy sniffing Charlotte
Hiding behind the chute

As Motrin’s working on this arthritis
Pain eased into night of my oblivion
That every now and then, I heard me snoring
As I soared inside the plane

It’s Casper wrapped-up in the clouds
Watching Pearl husked tamales’ wrap
And from the aisle of yellow corns
Henry’s tractor whistling its horn

L'abreuvoir

Explosions de sève et splendeurs d'horizons ;

Esprit vaincu, fourbu! Pour toi, vieux maraudeur,
L'amour n'a plus de gout, non plus que la dispute;

Comme la neige immense un corps pris de roideur;

Mothers Are Not Alike

God blessed and made her a woman
to conceive and deliver ‘twin babies’.
Such baby-girls some long to have
and some are cursed not to have.
Schemes are plenty to help grow these girls.
When animals too feed the kids of other,
a beastly mother slit the throat of one baby-girl,
born to her two weeks back with a blade.
Her mother-in-law suffocated the second baby.
What a heart these have to irk the Creator Himself!

Slipping through the discharge chute
in the toilet of the running train,
her sudden-born baby
fell on to the tracks.
Rinku flung herself from the train
to rescue her babe.
She never thought of pulling the chain
to stop the speeding train.
Mother and her babe are safe! A miracle!

Maries The Name

Very old friend
Came by today
As he was telling everyone in town
Of all the love that hed just found
And maries the name (of his latest flame)
Talked and talked
And I heard him say
That she had the longest blackest hair
Prettiest green eyes anywhere
And maries the name (of his latest flame)
The last night of the fair
By the big wheel generator
A boy is stabbed
His money is grabbed
And the air hangs heavy like a dulling wine
She is famous
She is funny
An engagement ring
Doesnt mean a thing
To a mind consumed by brass (money), oh

The Egret Floating

I was suddenly back in bristles
when I saw the egret floating,
a stretched spline thrown down

or just knocked off. The threat
was to crack my code,
that back and forth convention

of the highway. From that throne
of all-leaned-back, the chute
was dropping.

Now a huge, drowsy brood
of snowies spangles the cove;
now the self falls absent from the car.

An unbroken seed-head.
Shoots tossed outward. A solar
system. To build planets here,

Sky Soup

The birds
Cutthrough
The blue—
Thick, azure porridge
Of the astral plane.
Steam building,
Billowing in
Cumulonimbus clouds
Blowing in thhhhecool front.
The aluminum wings
Of an airplane
Tear a ____
Through it allllllllllllllllll,
` The stew drains simmering—
A whirlpool bent around the jagged edge
Of the sunbeams emanating
From the soup
We call a sky,
It all mixes
With alphabet letters

Barbares possesseurs, Procustes furieux,
