My fears

Sometimes I am fearful to follow my own dreams
And I have fears that I may cease to be
Because I fear to speak
I am fearful when I see
People substituting fear for reason
And I am more fearful when
I see people fearing to think
I have a preference to have assurance
That my fear will never arise
But I believe that I do not have assurance
That my fear will never arise
And I am not very well prepared to face on this

Postnatal Depression

I fear my little child.

I fear that she will not feed and grow strong and healthy,
I fear that she will stop breathing when I am out of the room or selfishly asleep,
I fear that she will become ill because of something I have done or did not do,
I fear that she will be in pain and I will not know why.

I fear that her father will reject her,
I fear that her father will reject me,
I fear that her father will compete for her love and that she will love him more,
I fear that her father will be distant and that she will not love him enough.

I fear that others will think that I am incompetent,
I fear that others will assume that I am capable,
I fear that others will force upon me unhelpful or unwanted advice,
I fear that others will believe I can cope.

I fear the loneliness of endless days without contact,
I fear the emptiness of endless nights without love,
I fear the weakness of endless days without proper meals,

Worry’s Added Burdens

Worry can be debilitating my friend, as you worry around every bend,
Each bend and valley in the road, will put on you an unbearable load,
A load we’re not meant to bear, as God wants every burden and care,
Each and every one cast off to Him, lest we become worried and sin.

Worry will turn concern into fear, making cloudy what’s just not clear,
Focusing on what we just don’t know, while fear within starts to grow,
So as that fear begins to fill a heart, all peace within seems to depart,
And all the promises from The Lord, through sinful worry, go ignored.

Worry can also lead to bitterness, moving one’s heart to unrighteous,
Causing a heart strife, deep within, because of the very nature of sin,
And if not checked will only wrought, sinful action of a bitter thought,
Actions, that will do nothing friend, to ease your concerns in the end.

Anger then begins to its play apart, if bitterness is allowed in a heart,
And anger only causes more pain, as you find worry affords no gain,
You will not gain, but simply fall back, as that devil, strives to attack,
Using something pure as concern; causing bitterness in you to churn.

She's One of The Fearless Ones

Reminiscing with old friend about the past.
she is another one of those fearless ones.
Courage against it all.
Waging a sentimental war against world.
living by a means to an end.
a great sacrifice so others can have a better life.
She is one the fearless ones.
Braver then i could ever be.
no hypothetical bull. do or step back.
no hesitation in a moment of desperation.
no time to wait for the collaboration.
what is best must be done.
Oh yes most definitely she is one of the fearless ones.
preach what ever you want. but she will.
it doesn't make any less real. giving it all up.
all i can say to haters and debaters is shut up and get out of her way.

Tonight I am worried about not knowing
what to worry about most, my computer’s
malfunction at the office on Friday, my twin
sis alone in the world - she says God shall
provide and I must trust that He will

My daughter’s exam - maths - tomorrow,
my anger when my son did not answer
his phone – being uncertain is the most
worrying thing of them all; I suspect that
early tomorrow morning I shall find

That I should have worried about my inability
to become a machine - computing numbers

What is self? Which is self? Who know?
The accumulated thought is self.
Thought lost, the sense of self is lost.
Thought is memory's expression.
Thought is conditioned by dogmas,
Convictions, customs and habits,
Also by experience and knowledge.
Thought lost, memory lost, self is lost.

Self must be an ugly product.
It wants to surge ahead in streams.
It wants to go ahead on road.
Selfishness is its character.
It's self that makes divisions
Among people, faiths and nations.
Self is the cause all clashes.
Self cannot be dislodged from heart.

Self is not the wholeness of life.
One's life is inclusive of self.
