The Memory of Water (for Scarlet)
Water remembers you
falling now on your sleeping face
waking you from dreams
with its surprise
after you fell asleep
at your first pinic.
Water remembers your childish
laughter.
Water remembers you
holding your body
in its body
as you learn not to fear it
as you learn the words float...sink...swim.

Watering' The 'unwatered
Concentration is less water
More water is dilution
Stones, boulders more strong concentration
Sand and the like fine concentration
Water and the like just dilution
Side by side rock and water coexist
To each other rock and sand give birth
To a mix sand and water give birth
The Mix to a rock gives birth
Water on rock evaporates
Rock on water stays
Sand on water or
Water on sand never
The rock of old age
Strong concetrated knowledge means
The Mix of young age
Fine conceterated knowledge means

Casted Spell
He's been through hell
Yet still on earth dwell
With swords against his flesh in swell
Hypnotic he feels
Drown in a waterless well
So precious a life in casted spell
It shall be well
For this he believes
As sweet fragrance in longing smell

Xiddo
Glory and unity,
The name of my two staffs at hand to lead the flock;
And like Xiddo in the land of mangoes!
But i am free from the waterless pit at last.
Open your doors of love to me my sweet one,
For true love and peace will guide the multitude!
And like the springs of water with the brooks of the land.

Petals of the mountain rose
Petals of the mountain rose
Fall now and then,
To the sound of the waterfall?

Waterfall
So now its getting late, for thse who hesitate, got no one,
But they dont understand and no one hears the sound,
Its like a waterfall, its an illusion.
Chorus
Love is all, waterfall, love is what you are,
Pulls you in, takes you down, its a sad affair,
But you know as you hold back the power there without the friends
And lovers you could never go on living.
Across the waterfall thats falling evermore down on you,
Cascading through the days, and flowing on its way,
Thats how it has to be, just an illusion.
Chorus repeat

Landscape 28 Meniscus
The molecules of water are held together
By weak electrical forces
That extend in all directions.
At the water surface, the upward forces,
Having nowhere watery to go,
Lie along the surface
To form a thin skin, called a meniscus.
This is the skin that holds water drops,
Supports water striders,
Even skips stones.
I came once to an Adirondack Lake
On a still moonlit night.
The lake seemed full of fireflies,
Flashes of light in the water
As far as the eye could see.
I finally discovered the source of the light,
The sudden movements of water striders
Riding the meniscus
Bent the water surface

Glory Be
Waters flowing though my veins
Nothing ever stays the same
Waters flowing down my side
Turn the water into wine
Wheres the courage I once had
Wheres the strength I once possessed
To stand up tall and face the music
Laughing in the face of death
Heres a boy whose hands are bleeding
Though hes never had a scratch
Glory come and glory be
Waters flowing now at last
Chorus
Like a bad dream I once had where
Everyone but me knew something
Walking blind through the burning fields
The dead brigade is on my heels
They follow me--they follow me
Waters flowing though my veins
Nothing ever stays the same

Once In A Lifetime
And you may find yourself living in a shotgun shack
And you may find yourself in another part of the world
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile
And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful
Wife
And you may ask yourself-well...how did I get here?
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the moneys gone
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground.
And you may ask yourself
How do I work this?
And you may ask yourself
Where is that large automobile?
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful house!
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful wife!
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground

The Drought
Grasses are parched
dry as dust
a cancer spreading
dry rust
locust swarms perish
of hunger and thirst
my green patch of lawn
the last
on this once great continent
faces the unblinking sun
and me
mad and sunstroked
holding the waterless hose
melting in my hand.

The Case Of A Waterfall
a waterfall can be seen in different angles
different versions can be said
how a waterfall falls from a very high cliff
the first version is the waterfall itself
the second as you turn clockwise
gives you the version of a fog hanging on a cliff
or a horizon of white clouds
the third version, as you turn another quarter
again on a clockwise direction gives you a water fountain
going up the sky
and the last version on another clockwise
or quarter turn gives you the rage of the river
flowing to the sea
that is how reality appears to our very eyes
some points of view
how life becomes depends on how we see it
coupled with our faith

From Mother To Daughter From Mother To Daughter.
Drink in some,
ice cold water little girl,
drink in some ice cold water,
some day you'll be big and strong,
but water will carry you all along.
Drink in some ice cold water little girl,
the day has been harsh to you,
the times are tough,
and getting rough,
but water will carry you though.
Drink in some ice cold water little girl,
although it's not getting easier,
refresh yourself,
from a nearby creek,
and maybe you'll see just what you need,
maybe water will show it to you.
Drink in some ice cold water little girl,

We all must drink the water of life
Neutrality is the balance
between bad and good
life is water...
a balance between good and bad,
we all must drink the water of life!
Depth from depth
..the pain
length from length
..the struggle
mile to mile
.. the frustration
a bitter taste
a rotten smell
a water we must drink
yet a water needed for survival
Height to height
..the pleasure
reach to reach

Impending
it was a horrible scene
of a drying river bed
where a school of
fish surrender
to their waterless state
grasping for breath
to an impending death
there is no sign of a dark
cloud's hands to help
the eye of the sun stared
their bodies hang
on the air that they do not need

Down To The Water
Written by dewey bunnell, 1977
Found on harbor.
The waves come in
Crash on the shoreline
Salty water, dont you know
Its yours, yours and mine
So grab your girl
And dont go wastin time
And lets go down to the water tonight
White capped clouds
Dance in the sunlight
Purple fishes watch
And show you some of their delight
The weathers fine
And everythings all right
So lets go down to the water tonight
Lets go down to the water tonight
Come on down, come on down
Come on down, down to the water
Come on down, come on down

Water.
Water drips off my body
Red water
Black water
Water that looks like glass as it rolls down my face
Stop the pain
Stop the water
Stop the liquid pouring from my body
Feel the pain
Breathe it in
Taste the hurt flowing
Flowing
Ever so smoothly
Ever so beautifully
Red water
Black water
Water that looks like glass and cuts like a knife

Water On Glass
Written by ricky & marty wilde
Cascading down
Theres a sound vaporising into vision
Its a sound in my head
That I feel and it shuts me in a prison
Say it wont last
Say it will pass
Always the sound in my brain
Can you hear it
Water on glass running down again
Water on glass that sound
Water on glass running round again
Help me, the sound of running waters
Coming down
Dancing away
Like the lights on a moving coloured river
Sounds in my head seem to run
And again I feel a shiver
Say it wont last
Pray it will pass

The Waterfall
Humble hut by the cascading waterfall,
Land covered by the pure snow,
The trees stand tall and unyielding.
O, the sound of flowing water,
The hermit concentrates his focus deeply,
Surely 'tis life's physical embodiment?
This waterfall to end in time,
'Tis he learned in his contemplations,
That beauty expresses in itself sadness.
Yet this matters not to him,
He shall for this fleeting moment,
Enjoy this tranquil nature's beauty.
