Dead Prayers
hearts trek
feet travel to the road
leading to unknown tombs
forgotten by the winding clocks
never remembered by the heart
and troubled souls
reach the unpainted walls
of a moss decorated crypt
and the dead souls
shouts dead prayers
only the dead can understand
what are halloween prayers anyway?
for uncaring bones
became stout by the earth
addicted by the rain of forgetfullness
and drugged by dreams gone wild
of wisdom lost
in a maze of unknown heavens
in a hell never found..
yet it is Halloween

Revenge
'Ah! quit me not yet, for the wind whistles shrill,
Its blast wanders mournfully over the hill,
The thunder’s wild voice rattles madly above,
You will not then, cannot then, leave me my love.'--
I must dearest Agnes, the night is far gone--
I must wander this evening to Strasburg alone,
I must seek the drear tomb of my ancestors’ bones,
And must dig their remains from beneath the cold stones.
'For the spirit of Conrad there meets me this night,
And we quit not the tomb 'till dawn of the light,
And Conrad's been dead just a month and a day!
So farewell dearest Agnes for I must away,—
'He bid me bring with me what most I held dear,
Or a month from that time should I lie on my bier,
And I'd sooner resign this false fluttering breath,
Than my Agnes should dread either danger or death,

The Day Will Come
When the tombstone reads my name
There at-last
There will be no pain
Maybe my family will say then
That they didn't know me that well
Now maybe, They'll start to understand
What made my heartaches, and swells
We were so young when
I started the fight
To end that past
It's why I couldn't ever hold my tears back
You see, I was the one that had
Gotten tired of what made them cry
Now maybe they'll stand here
Trying to understand my words and why
So
Those words, on my tombstone
Shows how true love, says good-by

Tombstone Blues
The sweet pretty things are in bed now of course
The city fathers theyre trying to endorse
The reincarnation of paul reveres horse
But the town has no need to be nervous
The ghost of belle starr she hands down her wits
To jezebel the nun she violently knits
A bald wig for jack the ripper who sits
At the head of the chamber of commerce
Mamas in the factory, she aint got no shoes
Daddys in the alley, hes lookin for food
Im in the kitchen with the tombstone blues
The hysterical bride in the penny arcade
Screaming she moans Ive just been made
Then sends out for the doctor who pulls down the shade
And says my advice is to not let the boys in
Now the medicine man comes and he shuffles inside
He walks with a swagger and he says to the bride
stop all this weeping, swallow your pride
You will not die, its not poison
Mamas in the factory, she aint got no shoes

Nun in FRiar Small-Bro's Grave... Yard
The midnight clings to dwarfish kings
While robot drones, adorning thrones,
Kneel, bowing to the Old...Guard.
Arrhythmic clocks and wooden box
Grace FRiar Small-Bro's grave...yard.
The diplohacks, in melting wax,
Are swept along, a thriving throng,
Just dying for a life...guard.
And Nun, alone, has beached their bones
In FRiar Small-Bro's grave...yard.
Beyond the streams, a raven screams
At loser fish that swarm and swish;
Nun gently drips her dreams...jarred.
There are no thanks along the banks
Of FRiar Small-Bro's grave...yard.
While FRiar smiles and prowls the aisles
The hierarch obeys his bark;

Where Have All The Flowers Gone?
Joan baez
Where have all the flowers gone? - long time passing
Where have all the flowers gone? - lone time ago
Where have all the flowers gone? - young girls picked them every one
When will they ever learn? when will they ever learn?
Where have all the young girls gone? - long time passing
Where have all the young girls gone? - long time ago
Where have all the young girls gone? - gone to young men every one
When will they ever learn? when will they ever learn?
Where have all the young men gone? - long time passing
Where have all the young men gone? - long time ago
Where have all the young men gone? - they are all in uniform
When will they ever learn? when will they ever learn?
Where have all the soldiers gone? - long time passing
Where have all the soldiers gone? - long time ago
Where have all the soldiers gone? - gone to graveyards every one
When will they ever learn? when will they ever learn?
Where have all the graveyards gone? - long time passing
Where have all the graveyards gone? - long time ago
Where have all the graveyards gone? - covered with flowers every one

Nothing Bad Ever Stays Hidden
Cleverly hidden in Cemetaries of yesteryear?
Cobwebbed Tombstones of regret?
Grown up wild with weeds untamed
Lay dying in the western sunset!
Crumbling stones of mis-matched family?
Whose heirloom trees were bent?
Found a lone red rose-wilted
Upon the cracks of ill-intent!
Building for anything hurtful?
It's death will come with failures spent
Dust to dust with malice riding
In the graveyards of todays mal-contents!

Your Body, My Body, Our Body
your body
a holy sepulcher
that my spirit
rises from.
my body
that pair of old jeans
that fits you
the best.
our body
an unknown cosmos
where self and self
are lost
in the darkness
of one.
