Strange are these men,
people can enjoy their work,
one can't compare these,
but let us try end enjoy!

Scientist and Poet,
One studies the worlds,
And another studies words,
Both can be above human mind,
One play with his logic and another plays word magic!

Both scientists and Poets,
Meditate,
One upon his experiments,
And another upon mind,
One studies cause and effect in this world,
Another studies love and affectaction of world!

One take pains work for some purpose,

Teacher’s Day (in acrostic)

Teaches and trains even the worst pupil
Ever ready to help the student in troubled times
Allows students to nurture their talents
Chides and punishes justly
Held in high esteem
Exemplary and encouraging
Remembers the pupil, forgets the name
’Selflessly serves society to the best of his/ her ability

Defends the weaker students against the robust
Advises appropriately
Yields to the highly intelligent student

what perspective means
by dint of practice

ONE POINT PERSPECTIVE
An imaginary vanishing point
on the horizon takes on life
as students draw vertical lines
angling toward a meeting
at some distant point
far off the drawing paper

TWO POINT PERSPECTIVE
Pencil and straight edge
suffice as students put
pencil to paper drawing
cylinders in square boxes

Worried About Work

A fact of worry instils fear in the scholar,
Opening the volumes of worry conquers.
Let scholars love the stars of scholarship,
Justice will prevail from the heavens due to this.
An anxious reply to the jester is not scholarly,
A good student is of the best authority.
A worried look in his eyes suggests his cleverness,
But then evil uproots the warrior, the soldier of sages.

Well, the teacher I studied with for nineteen and a half years was a man named Paul Gavert. He was a great lieder singer, so basically I'm a trained lieder singer because of that teacher. The teacher I currently study with - since 1995 - is Joan Lader, who also studied with Gavert.

The ever filled reservoir of the school teacher

Teachers in India like to impart knowledge
So their students can have an edge
Their Students are their pride
