Frozen

Frozen
By: Adam M. Snow

Memories frozen and gone,
like sands in broken time,
'gainst the blackest of dawn,
yet cold with no love sublime.
To be alone in ice of despair,
with hearts cold and frozen.
There's nothing left to bear,
for all who are chosen.

Like frost in the wind,
chilling a lonely being,
leaving nothing to mend,
like a ghost without seeing.
Dreams now cold like ice,
falling to pieces,
not once but twice,
as the days decreases.

A Mason Lays Bricks One At a Time

You may say in words with intelligence,
What it is you want to do.
But until you manifest it as a lifestyle...
With an effort that you seek to accomplish,
An intellectualized dream is just what it is.
There to sit to convince,
Anyone but yourself with proof and/or evidence.

It doesn't take a scholar to make dreams come true.
A mason lays bricks one at a time.
It also makes it easier to put frosting on a finished cake,
Than to whip up a batter of frosting
To await a decision if a cake to make should be baked.

And garbage will sit,
Until someone picks it up!

Stirring excitement in one who anticipates tasting,
Something offered to share that isn't there...
Decreases one's integrity.

1.

Somebody puts a hand
on my shoulder
I turn around
suddenly it was moon.

2.

Do you hear
the inaudible voices
of abstruse frosting.
The leaves are falling.

3.
What you did not know
was my pain.
When I felt illumminated
in dark.

Niagara Falls

Baby, so you think you can start again?
You got somebody new,
But the same thing keeps happening.
At the moment of truth,
Whoever youre loving,
You will be thinking of me.
Chorus:
As long as niagara falls,
As long as gibraltar stands,
Till hell freezes over
Ill always be your man.
Tell me, when youre there lying by his side.
Do you make him believe all your needs have been satisfied?
Does he know that your heart is taken forever?
Girl, you will always be mine.
Chorus
Time cant erase
What you feel in your heart
You cant replace the love
No, it doesnt matter how hard you try.

Steely Eyes

Long frosting,
These cold shoulders.
Once a place chips came and sat,
Now bear solid cubes of ice.
Stacked and packed...
To keep any chance of a thaw,
Away and unmentioned.

Even routine handshakes,
Are gloved to protect from touch.
Friendly ties have been crushed,
To wither into flakes far from melting!
Hearts are frozen.
And heated speech decreases...
Any warmth shown,
In steely eyes fixed not to blink!

Indian Dance

[Verse 1:]
Step in the club head low with the lights down
Made my way to the floor fellas gather round
Step My hips out there make em point and step
Feel the heat that beats in the atmosphere
Just my chest feel the sweat get into it now
I get the feeling we gonna party till they shut it down
people watching from the bar pretty tipsy now
break it down ladies roll it like a gipsy now
[Pre-Hook:]
went in My A, all the way to Jamaica
from New york back across to the bay now
I see you watching and i know you wanna get in me
Boy I have you singing like them indians
[Hook:]
Oh halhalhalhalhaYaaa
Boy I have you singing like them indians
Oh halhalhalhalhaYaaa
Boy I have you singing like them indians
Oh halhalhalhalhaYaaa

The Frost

It's amazing to watch the frost's work.

It made the sea side a fairy tale.

The frost's quirk made the sea not for a sail.

The silence is all around.

For a while the time stands still.

The seagulls can't swill.

Like in the realm of Antarctica

Throughout the frost, snow and ice

Winter skies are cold and low, with harsh winds and freezing sleet. But when we make love beneath our quilt, we make three summer months of heat.

The Season of Change

Autumn winds gently in,
washing away Summer's sin...

Autumn winds blow free,
chasing colored leaves from every tree...

Autumn winds chill,
frosting through every valley and hill...

Autumn winds passed,
waiting for Winter's snowy blast.

You to me,

And went away

Ray Charles

Music's been around a long time, and there's going to be music long after Ray Charles is dead. I just want to make my mark, leave something musically good behind. If it's a big record, that's the frosting on the cake, but music's the main meal.

Reaching in the Bed Room Night

I could reach out to you
but hesitancy grips-
freezes things
and I grow anger about that
the hesitancy you've bred in me;
because I sense and know you'll not reciprocate

I therefore then and there plan my revenge
I know that is silly.

I had a thought with myself
ascribing actions to you
you have not done yet
and I then count my self
self righteous
for having endured
what you have said
or not done yet
based solely on my predictions
of what you would do if I did.

Frosted Flake Wood

Johnny went to frosted flake
To go for a walk in the frozen wood
He bumped into a mushroom
That sold his body for some warm food
eat me my friend, youll be the leader of the band
Johnnys hand reached out
Luckily there was mr doubt
Mr doubt the old man was the surveyor
Of frosted flake wood
He tried to sell hesitation wherever he could
buy some doubt
Feel free he yelled loud
friends it wont hurt
Luckily there was big bird
For gods sake run away
Or it wont be your lucky day
Leave this forest behind
This aint a place for human kind

My thoughts like my love is forever lost

My thoughts like my love is forever lost
Not in me but she, the price love cost
Our energy, or beauty, all that we create
Turns on us and weaves our fate
Reverent thyself and in reverence keep
The love for thee and think of me
For my love my thoughts and love are in you
And appears it cannot break through
So use them to be and do break free
From the cold frost from thy indifferent air
And thy cold stare, frozen bare
Which freezes my thought and my love
And in you, I bid adieu

A Song Of A Spring-Time

TOO rash, sweet birds, spring is not spring;
Sharp winds are fell in east and north;
Late blossoms die for peeping forth; Rains numb, frost blights;
Days are unsunned, storms tear the nights;
The tree-buds wilt before they swell.
Frosts in the buds, and frost-winds fell: And you, you sing.

But let no song be sweet in spring;
Spring is but hope for after-time,
And what is hope but spring-tide rime? But blights, but rain?
Spring wanes unsunned, and sunless wane
The hopes false spring-tide bore to die.
Spring's answer is the March wind's sigh: And you, you sing.

Manifesting In Arrested Sleep

Left behind.
Most have jumped into safety nets.
Held by clinging vines.

And time has stopped.
Minds are blocked.
Onlookers can't believe,
People frozen yet they breathe.

And time has stopped.
Minds are blocked.
Onlookers can't believe,
People frozen yet they breathe.

Manifesting in arrested sleep.
Time has stopped!
Manifesting in arrested sleep.
Minds are blocked!
Manifesting in arrested sleep.

Nothingface

May I....
May I......
Valves, plugs.. pump to erase
rictus from my face
Lapse of time
Syncro freeze
Loop rewind
Forward speed
Will to walk
Crossed out feet
Fingers fall
Far from reach
Mind to talk, still words bleed...
Lapse of time
Syncro freeze
Loop rewind
Forward speed
Optic box
Melted through
Sonic shock

Cricket on the Hearth

When red-nosed Winter takes the road,
An icicle his walking-stick,
When frost is on the woodman's load,
And snow is falling fast and thick,
Come, lusty youth and sapless eld,
Let's make a circle round the blaze
And talk of stumps,
Of nasty bumps,
That flew and came in sunny days.
For Cricket is played again, again,
At freezing time in Hull or Bath;
When summer's done the game's not gone--
There's Cricket on the Hearth!

Here's Jones from Rugby, Eton Jack,
And Grandpapa who, long ago,
Loved hitting when the Field was slack,
And crumped the bowling, swift or slow!
No more he's nimble on the green,
But what a history he tells
