Honky Tonk in Cleveland, Ohio

It's a jazz affair, drum crashes and coronet razzes.
The trombone pony neighs and the tuba jackass snorts.
The banjo tickles and titters too awful.
The chippies talk about the funnies in the papers.
The cartoonists weep in their beer.
Shop riveters talk with their feet
To the feet of floozies under the tables.
A quartet of white hopes mourn with interspersed snickers:
"I got the blues.
I got the blues.
I got the blues."
And . . . as we said earlier:
The cartoonists weep in their beer.

They're all based on factual characters. Well, a good amount of them. That's why I was attracted to this genre anyways, because these characters are so large and cartoonish, they're like caricatures, I just felt that there had to be a film made about them.

He revealed a cartoon of his birth.
Meant at a conference to be a joke.
Since there had been such a controversy,
If, indeed, he was qualified to lead!
And where he was born,
Had been the focus of 'certain' folks.

However,
Just to be sure those observing knew,
The cartoon was not real...
He thought it was in the best of interest,
To announce to those watching...
What they viewed,
Was in fact...
A cartoon.
And 'not' a real depiction!

First of all, you look at Rocky films now, and if that isn't a cartoon series there isn't any cartoon series. I mean there's no way anybody is going to take that amount of punishment in fifteen rounds.

Internet Cartoon

some of us watch internet cartoon for fun
maybe to get away from people or sun
watching like foamy or charlie unicorn
or maybe some of you that watch porn
whatever you watch makes you less bored or sleep through the day
you go to your desk or couch and say
'this is my only fun' in your head
or maybe it is fun sleeping in your bed
I don't care what internet cartoon I'm watching as long as I'm happy
I'm happy because it's funny

Artists who draw cartoons are cartoonists
Musicians who play bassoons, are bassoon-ists
Players of violins are violinists-flute players flutists
Then why aren’t drummers drum-ists?

Could the writer of Haiku be a Haiku-ist
Or the rider of a bike a bike-u-ist?

Why are linguists not language-ists
Or photographers photo-ists?

Who conjures these very English-isty rules list?
