Halloween
Well i live with snakes and lizards
And other things that go bump in the
Night cos to me everyday is halloween
I have given up hiding and started to fight
I have started to fight well any time,
Any place, anywhere that i go all the
People seem to stop and stare they say
'why are you dressed like it's halloween?
You look so absurd, you look so obscene'
O, why can't i live a life for me?
Why should i take the abuse that's served?
Why can't they see they're just like me it's
The same, it's the same in the whole wide world
Well i let their teeny minds think that they're
Dealing with someone who is over the brink and
I dress this way just to keep them at bay
Cos halloween is everyday it's everyday o,
Why can't i live a life for me?
Why should i take the abuse that's served?
Why can't they see they're just like me it's

At the end of the first Halloween, when I shot 6 bullets into Michael Myers, John Carpenter said, Let's get a shot of you looking out of the window and seeing no one lying there.

They did that little thing on South Park, and they mentioned my name and had a character of me judging a Halloween contest. It was really funny. That made me the coolest aunt on earth.

I was offered a choice of a flat salary up front or a percentage of the film's future earnings. I took the up front money. Nobody could have figured what Halloween would ultimately become.

Brian
Brian, what did the Bible say about Christmas, Halloween, Easter and Valentine Day? !
Read your bible again and you will know that they are condemned!
For broad is the way to destruction.

Four Witches From Nowishes
On broom sticks road four young witches
from a far off land of Nowishes.
They wore tall hats upon their heads
in their hands, were apples they'd painted red.
To tempt the children on Halloween night
of candies from neighbors they'd gleaned.
For these four were not allowed you see
in the land of Nowishes, candy was never tasted or seen.
They wanted a taste of all those sugary delights
thoughts of candy danced in their heads
while on their broomsticks flight.
Swooping down, grabbing bags of tasty treats
leaving red apples, then flying off to eat.
Beware on Halloween night to hang on to your bags
you may be visited by four young witches
with rotted teeth of old hags!

John Carpenter created the idea of Halloween, so his vision remains the most focused and intelligently directed of the series. The directors that have followed have kept the original intent of the concept.

House 155
Once upon a midnight dreary
Where light was
Weak and weary
Ghost and goblins Run to
House 155 in Mary
Trick or treat
Was there story
Until their
End was gory
The thunder clapped, lightening flashed.
they heard an evil cackle
A ruby liquid filled the house of 155
House 155
Go in but
not out alive
say trick our treat

All Hallow's Eve
All Hallow’s Eve
As he walked out the door he peered back inside
At his mother and father who gestured so feebly
Did he float down the steps, did he spookily glide
Did he feel Halloween’s deeds so deeply
Wipe the blood from his cape
Wipe the gore from his knife
Wipe the smile from their face
Wipe out the balance of each one’s life
Halloween eve a night to do evil deeds
Commit heinous acts for no one will know
For him to hide in shadows and weeds
To pounce on and slice them up so
To straggle behind and peer in bag of candy
Gives him opportunity to grab and to run
To carve lil’ goblins is just fine and dandy

Floridian Nightmare
(5/12/11)
The spirits of the dead were flying all around
All you could hear was a screechy eerie sound
The coffins and bodies were taken and thrown into a ravine
One on top of another was all that could be seen.
A worker had notified the authorities of what had taken place
The news media heard of it and said it was a disgrace.
Loved ones came running as they heard of the news
Of how their loved ones had been abused.
Many people have said that they see the spirits
Searching each grave
Looking for a marker of where they once laid.
The people walking their dogs very late at night
Telling of a screaming as their dogs jump with freight.
Now this is a true story and not a Halloween tale
Till this day you could hear the spirits wail.

It Must Be October
The harvest moon hangs round and high
It dodges clouds high in the sky
The stars wink down their love and mirth
The Autumn seasons is giving birth
Oh it must be October
The leaves of red bright gold and brown
To Mother earth come tumbling down
The breezy nights the ghostly sights
The eerie spooky far off sounds
Are signs that its October
The pumpkin yellow big and round
Are carried by costumed clumsy clowns
Its Halloween lets celebrate
Come one come all and don't be late
We know now its October
We'll roast and toast some luscious food
For apples we'll be bobbin
While tales are told around the fire
Of timely ghosts and goblins
Oh how we love October

In Halloween, I viewed the characters as simply normal teenagers. Laurie, Jamie Lee's character, was shy and somewhat repressed. And Michael Myers, the killer, is definitely repressed. They have certain similarities.

Halloween In April{for The Kids Of The Hall}
in a window, sat a pumpkin of light
to thrill the kids with fear and fright
to gaurd the candy, of halloweens eve
and prove that halloween, is no make believe
his grin was toothy, off and large
and you could see him from way, out in the yard
kids would walk by
but they wouldnt stop
there were safer places, to candy shop
but no matter where you were
in this new neighborhood
you could see that pumpkin
really good
framed by darkness of the shrill october night
his white hot candle, was the only night
but one brave kid, walking by
got too close
and could see the pumpkins eyes
and to this day

John and I had a few meetings about what direction the sequel should take. I made some real insane suggestions. True to what you'd expect, he ignored them all and just picked up Halloween II where the original left off.

The first Halloween was very well made. The second one was also well made, though I didn't like it as well as the first one. The third one had nothing to do with the series at all and perhaps shouldn't have been made at all.

White Halloween
Two days before the end of October, before Halloween,
A surprised snow storm surged like a mad queen,
Attacking the street lights, toying with the arms of the trees
To enrage the melancholic breeze
Of autumn, disrupting the mundane flows
Of rivers and the rhythmic pirouettes of the doves.
Oh! The sounds of the thunders
Mimicking the horrors
Of a dreadful season,
Which defied logic and reason!
Dracula and Mina were hanging out at the corner
Of the boulevard, where an elder
Recently lost the head
Of his masked doll.
A group of formerly dull
Teenagers decorated many windows,
And painted the feathers of the neighbors’ crows.
Hence all witnessed the dead
Roaming throughout the main mean street

Trick or treat?
It's that time of the year again
when things go bump in the night
when children wander the streets
trying hard to give us a fright.
Wearing long black coats
and witches hat's upon their head
they dress up like scary monsters
and zombies who've risen from the dead.
But last year was a spooky Halloween
when at midnight I heard scratching at my door
nervously I opened it to see who was there
it was a Werewolf blood dripping from it's jaw.
I laughed and said that's a really good disguise
but fancy calling round so late at night
the Werewolf then let out a mighty roar
and grabbed my neck and gave it a bite.
This hideous thing wasn't a child after all
and it then just vanished into thin air
since that night I've never been the same
I bark at the Moon, have claws and long hair.

Mystic Autumn
Summer marches on again
Another season moves on in
Colourful leaves blow all round
Another new day will begin
Mystic Autumn
The harvest will reach it's peek
Pumpkin patch and warm cider
Decorated costumes and faces
Halloween and toy spiders
Mystic Autumn

Halloween
Halloween is quite a scene
Of fun ghosts, witches and more.
Trick-or-treat makes it complete
If you know what it’s all for.
Pumpkins smile a little while
Then are eaten or thrown away.
You'll have fun with every one
If you need a mask for just this day.
