Quotes about telephone, page 3
They Took It
I'm sad
The teacher
Took my phone
I want to chat
But I can't
Chat with
My friend
Without my phone
The teacher
Gave my phone
Back to me
I'm happy again
Next day
I'm sad
The teacher
Took my phone, again

Devices eat you up.
If you were to go to nearby schools,
To work in your village, buy from near by
And befriend natives you need no vehicles,
Telephones and email which all eat you up.

Donna
Oh donna
You made me stand up
You made me sit down, donna
Sit down, donna
Sit down
You made stand up
Donna waiting by the telephone
Donna waiting for the phone to ring
Oh donna
You make me break up
You make me break down, donna
Break down, donna
Break down
You make me break up
Meanwhile waiting by the telephone
Donna is waiting for the phone to ring
Hello, darling
Yes I love you darling
Yes I love you
Oh donna

It's a terrific... you can't put it down. So I phoned him back and I said I'd love to do it. I went over to Paris for a meeting, and we just talked very generally about the approach.

Love that is pure
What I thought I can’t write.
What I wrote I can’t phone.
What I phoned, I can’t speak.
What I speak in person is dry.
Yet passion hits the shore
In your vision and your short talks.
No such happening is with others,
Even in amorous talks with them.
Is it the sign of pure love?

Life Line
Ten thousand miles away from someone
Ten thousand miles away from you
Whos your friend on the end of a telephone line
A telephone lines like a life line
You run me cool you run me hot love
You take me where I wanna be
Ship to shore, air to land
Seems its always the same
I always end up with a lame brain
Dont got talkin in your sleep no
Dont go givin it all away
Dont go walkin in your sleep no
Dont go givin it all away
Dont got talkin in your sleep no
Dont go givin it all away
Dont go walkin in your sleep no
Youre ten thousand miles away
Livin it up in the paradise
Dont make it right, dont make it wrong
When you know youve got a friend

The Art of Conversation (Fun Poem 126)
In today’s society something is missing,
the art of conversation.
Nearly everyone forty and under
has a phone in their hand,
call It a mobile or a cell
it doesn’t matter which.
They use it twenty-four seven
not only for talking, but texting.
You see them in a restaurant
texting the person opposite only a foot away.
They say they do it because of the noise
and the noise they refer to is other phones ringing.
However, they don’t realise just how silly they look.
What could take a few minutes
takes more minutes to text.
Sometimes they even forget what they are eating
and pop their phone in their mouth.
A phone doesn’t taste as nice as a juicy sirloin steak.
When they order their phone,
they could order different colours.
