Last night on the sports channel
I watched the rodeo.
Those cowboys have it right;
the best and the beauty of it.
You cannot win, so you ride
for as long as you can and enjoy it.
When you dismount,
whether it be on your own or not,
it won't look pretty. You'll limp off.
But you'll feel good; your heart
will be pounding like it never has,
and walking away, one crazy step
after another, your ears will ring
with the loud approval
of those who never felt so good.

It doesn't matter what you have
How you got it.
If it is yours or not.
Borrowed or on loan.
New or used...
Attached to disconnect.
Stain resistant or chip proof.
The next rage or the last of its kind.
The flavor of the month,
Or something you picked up on Rodeo Drive!
The most recent trip I took with you,
Was my last.
And I meant that.
What I gave to you,
And you chose to give back?
Is not up for grabs.
And it is certainly not on sale!

Cadillac Jack Favor

Hes cadillac jack favor and the name rings true
If hes got a ride any stranger would too
The one bad habit that his ponder would say
Is sure gonna put him through the trials one day
And thats just what happened he took pity on two men
Heading down to louisiana, he stopped and let them in
And the thanks he did for helping them
Would make him wish he was busting broncs again
He dropped them off in bossieer city where they met up with a man
That vagabond commitee barely even had a plan
It was just a simple robbery turned double homicide
They got away with murder itd be someone elses hide
Almost two years come and gone they never solved that crime
til they found one of our vagabonds already doing time
When that jailbird started singing they all knew the words were wrong
But the sheriff and the da and the judge all sang along
They pinned it on jack favor, gave him life without parole
Gave jacks freedom to the jailbird, payment on the lies he told
Just so happens that election year everybody payed out at the polls

A Neigh in the western sky

Threesome was in tie-break from time to time.
You see a slight difference otherwise it's very hard to choose the beauteous.
The triangular trendsetters treble the song of life.
The magical gypsy sisters, triplets on their way home with Nick-knacks.
A roll-call in a rodeo but my handsome slapdash cowboy!

The world is full of danger,
but everyone's like 'see ya later'
We all want someone to care for us,
To make us happy, laugh and blush
But it seems like I'm always alone
Not even someone there to throw me a scrappy bone

No, I'm not gonna let it get me down,

The cowboy lives forever
As long as there's a faded pair of blue jeans
Wide brimmed hats and leather

I took her daddys old two-horse trailer
I patched a place in the floor that was bare
