C'mon all you leaders, leadin' the way
when you gonna do somethin' to make my day?
There's no one to count on.
You're all so corrupt.
The platitudes you stand for
are all about to erupt.
Isn't there one of you
that means what you say?

Are you all puppets
held up by strings?
There must be a puppeteer
hiding in the wings.
Is he so powerful
that you must obey?

I think if you have a really big, heavy person, there's a feeling of an invisible puppeteer jerking them around in space. They don't feel like they are moving themselves.

Pilgrimage

Am I a pilgrim or a wayfarer
in this sanctum or a sanatorium?
Dear mom I was a prisoner for nine months
in your safe waterlogged womb.
But still I cannot swim in the deep seas.
The thorny crown and the cross too heavy for me.
I am only a puppet in the marionette
and somebody draws me here and there.
I am almost tired,
