Quotes about lefthanders, page 3
An Imagination
intentionally i let my right hand hold my left hand
my left hand holds the branch of a tree that
holds some leaves,
my feet are on the trunk of a tree
beforehand i mentioned
there are clouds getting near us
fog that promise a cover
out there oceans sing
stars hang themselves upon a path of the horizon
all imaginary ceilings
where the moon behaves like one big chandelier
there are moment when stars and moon are simply themselves
as moon and stars without
self-imposed meanings and then all that we describe
is that it is the moon and they are the stars
no sauce for more words
nothing added nothing subtracted

If, in instructing a child, you are vexed with it for want of adroitness, try, if you have never tried before, to write with your left hand, and then remember that a child is all left hand.

Faith and doubts
Faith be the accelerator
And doubts, the brake.
Apply them accordingly.
Faith be the right hand;
Reasoning be the left hand.
Use both while you are in motion..

Ch 08 On Rules For Conduct In Life - Maxim 76
The first sovereign who laid stress on costume and wore rings on his left hand was Jamshid; and being asked why he had adorned his left whereas excellence resides in the right hand, he replied: ‘The right hand is fully ornamented by its own rectitude.’
Feridun ordered Chinese embroiderers
To write around the borders of his tent:
‘Keep the wicked well, O intelligent man,
Because the good are in themselves great and fortunate.’

Light is the left hand of darkness and darkness the right hand of light. Two are one, life and death, lying together like lovers in kemmer, like hands joined together, like the end and the way.

The Pose Of Desire
the right arm
sits on the
left arm
the right hand
lands on the
left side of the neck
the left hand
situates itself
securely on
the right armpit
you embrace
yourself
the eyes focus
on the object
that they have
not seen
it is not necessary
that a wrinkle
be an accent on
the forehead

Casca: A common slave—you know him well by sight—
Held up his left hand, which did flame and burn
Like twenty torches join’d; and yet his hand,
Not sensible of fire, remain’d unscorch’d.
line from the play The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, Act I, Scene 2, script by William Shakespeare (1599)

In The Cold
Water runs out of my right eye more than my left eye in the cold,
My right hand freezes more easily in the cold than my left hand;
Walking in the cold with temperatues of plus 3 ans minus 20 degrees!
But, who can understand this when i am from Africa?

I Think, I Know Myself
i think, i know
myself, ...i arrive
at the conclusion
of who i am, really,
when i look at you,
and i lift my
left hand to
hold the side of
my neck
my right hand
hidden inside
my pocket
i gaze at you that
long enough
you do not mind
there is no meaning attached

In(Justice)
16th century
Justitia
Went blindfolded -
To view the truth.
Her left hand
Held double-edged sword -
To drive home reason and justice.
Her right hand
Held set of scales -
To load the subject's 'two sides'
On them and decide the outcome
Based on the needle's direction.
21st century
Judiciary
Went wide-eyed -
To view the loophole.
Their left hands
Held double standard code -
To drive home corruption and injustice.

Yeah Man
I know you've got my back
From the way you plan your next attack
I know you've placed your bets
By the way you like to watch me sweat
If I could have my way
I'd chain you down and make you stay
'Cause you're the yes man,yes man, nobody else can
You're the best man, yeah man, nobody else can
You're my left hand, right hand, man , you're the right man
You won't let me down
You won't let me down
You won't let me
I know you in the dark
By the way your hands pull me apart
I know you in the day
By the way you're here but miles away
I know you're in the mood not to be attached or be misused.
'Cause you're the yes man,yes man, nobody else can
You're the best man, yeah man, nobody else can
You're my left hand, right hand, man , you're the right man

Two hands clapped
There were two hands, alone,
Opposite each other,
Yet quite harmonious.
The left hand was stable,
Making its way open.
The right hand was active,
Having its way to reach.
They both met and clapped.
The left feigned innocence
And the right was punished
For the rape committed.

Wishful Thinking
Wish on your left hand, spit in the right hand.
Tell me my good friend what do you expect?
I'll tell you, Nothing! Do you understand?
Wishing is nothing but willful neglect.
To sit awaiting your ship to come in
is just pie-in-the-sky for all dreamers.
For most if not all, take it on the chin
for the fantasies of these believers.
The spit in the hand is of little use
perhaps flattening cowlick one morning.
Yet even this task of digestive juice
has worthwhileness more useful than yearning.
Young children are known to wish on a star
but as an adult you'll never get far.
