Quotes about harvest, page 3
Sow for annual harvest
The goodwill invested for a long term
Often goes un-harvested or stillborn.
You don’t know what the time has in store.
Harvest it then and there; that only invest.

This Years Kisses
This years crop of kisses
Dont seem as sweet to me
This years crop just misses
What kisses used to be
This years new romance
Doesnt seem to have a chance
Even helped by mr. moon above
This years crop of kisses is not for me
For Im still wearin last years love

Country Boys
Harvesting and gleaning
Down on the farm
Bean and pea picking
Strengthens the arm
Selling fruit in country lanes
Putting in tomato canes
Tree climbing, birds nesting
Now in decline
Tobogganing and snow clearing
Fun at the time
Thashing and rabbiting
Are great when you're small
Bell ringing, choir singing
I've done them all
There's lots of fun
When you've got no toys
After all, we were
Country boys.

Buckwheat may be planted later than any similar crop, and often does well on old meadows or waste land that can be broken after the more exacting crops are planted.

Inspired by Issa-Harvest Moon
harvest moon -
for the sacrecrow
a deep last bow
harvest moon -
the scarecrow orchestrates
an empty field
inspired by
harvest moon-
tonight even you
are busy!

The rich plunder
The poor are the plants thriving on rain.
The rich are the crops under irrigations.
The irrigated crops erode the earth.
The enriched people plunder the world.

Fresh Harvests
Neuroleptic liquids
Are dripping from the pipes,
Watering veg'tables
‘Til they're healthy and ripe.
The tranquilizing streams
Rushing in on the crops
Irrigate ceaselessly—
Flowing, never to stop.
All of the fresh harvests
Are kept under control.
Nature has been harnessed—
It's kept under control.
The land is fertilized
With processed compost soil.
The disinfected dirt
Should prevent any spoils.
Sublimated climates—
The seasons are sedate—

Unpretentious Are Those Gifted
That well fed the crops they harvested.
The animals grazed...
To healthy weights,
When sent off to market.
Then to slaughter to feed,
And line thick pockets.
A parching drought began.
The rains no longer came nonstopping.
Like a clock timed with the seasons.
Drying up the well and thinning pockets.
The famine of egos searched to quench thirsts.
So unpretentious are those gifted.
Who pray for solutions.
And Mother Nature hears them first.
Once again...
That well fed the crops they harvested.

The heavier crop is ever in others' fields.
Suddenly Images Change
Too many now bending under heat,
Like drying crops.
Without a drop...
Of reviving fresh water.
Others would rather ignore their pleas,
And let them rot.
Like the weeding,
Of their wicked disorder!
Suddenly images change.
Those now in pain,
Are the ones...
Who chose to inflict it.
Suddenly they all seem insane.
Those who disdained,
Are now the ones...
Mentally conflicted.

Rain Doesn't Fall From The Ocean
Rain doesn't fall from the ocean
Thoughts don't form in our mind
A completely true false notion
One could argue out in time
Thoughts don't form in our mind
Each is gathered as a crop
One could argue out in time
Or a thought is just a drop
Each is gathered as a crop
Thoughts harvest from the heart
Or a thought is just a drop
Ceaseless cycle of an ending start
Thoughts harvest from the heart
A completely true false notion
Ceaseless cycle of an ending start
Rain doesn't fall from the ocean
