No hiding Place

Shadow, shadow on the wall why did you disappear? Now I can’t go into
the bathroom to see if I’m here. Look at the map of Rumania, think of Dracula
switch on more light; and remember I have no garlic cloves. Look up Norway,
on the Google map, such a pleasant country, peace loving people,
the plods carry no guns and you can ask them for direction and they will tell
you where to go should you be as stupid as get lost in their quaint little towns.
But I also see a man dressed in fantasy uniform, walking around a lake island
killing children like they should be rabbits infected with myxomatosis and
it must be stopped before it spreads to people on the mainland.
The shadow on the wall is back looks familiar I wave the shadow waves back.
I’m safe in my tiny Portuguese village, but for how long?

How race and run the drops of blood

It is time for Halloween

Come The Dawn

The darkness crept in-slinking
'Cross the creaking maple floors
And in the distance the wind 'twas groaning
While the blackbirds were cackling at the doors

The trees in the forest black were whispering
Branches were snapping at vampire bats
Dracula came out of hiding in a lust for blood
And the grounds of the estate were covered with black cats

They are having a party at the neighborhood bar

Let me give an updat of Halloween night
When Freddie Krueger and Jason got into a fight.
Blood was flying all around
Yet not one of them made a sound.

And the ending - no one could foresee.

They were joining forces for Halloween night
Since all the Halloween crowd would be waiting for them
Because at midnight the scaring would end.
Now that all the revelers were here
They would plan their rants and jeers.

FREDDIE would pull them out of bed
Then the GRIM REAPER would cut off their heads
Then DRACULA would suck them dry
And their bodies the goblins would hide.

You mention a vampire
and your thoughts turn to Dracula
that bloodsucking fiend
or a creature like that.
Protruding fangs and bite in the neck,
but they are not the only bloodsuckers around.

You sit there in a line waiting to be called.
The room is sterile and not what you would expect
from the home of a twenty first century vampire.
You feel a bit queasy
and wonder if it will hurt.

You see them go in the door,
but so far, none has come out.
No sounds come from within

are all filled with smiles and not a care.
