Quotes about archives, page 2
Bohemia is nothing more than the little country in which you do not live. If you try to obtain citizenship in it, at once the court and retinue pack the royal archives and treasure and move away beyond the hills.

Happy British Town
Diamond:
Walsall
West Midland town
A place of various trades
Known for its leather and metal
And a library housing great paintings
Walsall Football Club is popular
also the shopping parade
Archives smile on
Walsall.

You Are Immortal
You will be there,
Winds will shift the sands
Away will drift the lands
Your footprints will be hidden
Under debris of time….
In search of a honey drop
They will stop
to find you at the beehive
or in a dusty archive
where tales eons old
will be valued in gold….
Death comes not to spurn,
But to begin a new yarn,
It’s definite
You will remain a part of it.

Ever In Memory
In Hampshire ~
Fair county of England
Dwelt a lady of skill and ability
The wonderful novelist
Jane Austen.
She wrote many stories...
'Pride and Prejudice'
'Sense and Sensibility'
And the ever-popular 'Emma'.
Although Jane died
With two novels unfinished,
Her unique and fine books
Are ours to own
Her films are still shown
And her name stands alone
In the famed archive zone.

Stromatolites
Shallow sills and sea-grass meadows
channel hyper-saline pools.
Blue-green algae's limestone pillows
still obey Archaean rules.
Planet's first apartment dwellers,
submarine with penthouse suite.
Archives laid in rock lamellas,
remnants from a past elite.

Romeo Sings to Juliet
When your eyes failed to notice me
Then I knew love could never be.
I shall live with a broken heart
Today and evermore...
I will miss your delightful kiss
And that feeling of heavenly bliss.
But I pray our love story will ever be
In the Archives of romantic history.

friendship
When you sail troubled waters
I’m your oaken ship
Where you stand
I’m firmness neath your feet
When you stroll a summer’s day
I’m your umbrella, rain or shine
When you’re unhappy
I’m your circus clown
When you’re afraid
I’m a warm embrace
When you’re joyous
I’m your playmate
When you take ill
I’m a soothing balm

Intelligence
There are two kinds of intelligence;
The first one is acquired from childhood,
school, and workplace
Collected information from traditional sources
The second, is an Archive preserved inside
A fountainhead flowing from within, outward
First lives in brain
Second lives in soul
First, logical
Second, reasonable
First, smart
Second, wise
“Blessed we human beings
With so much to us gifted

Hopes in Hopes
Hopes in Hopes
Hopes! what is this thing i hope for? is it a fantasy or a trick played by my mind.... at night i hope for things i imagined would someday become reality,
I hope that my imagination becomes reality, I hope that i dont have to hope to get the things i want.
But hopping in high expectation takes you a step forward, Hopes! , dreams are buit on hope, every moment i hope, i cant stop hopping! , but i cant help to think that hopes makes a person archived greater things, it helps a person think high, it helps a person taking higher step in life.
i hope this will be useful to people who hopes to find thier expectations, hopes are your dreams.

Tik Tok Goes the Clock
Rising smoke
Yonder up the sky
Panting chest with message
Running feet, with chest so sweaty.
That old drum
Its sound swallowed
By buttons and codes.
As tick tok the clock runs
Of a nerve itching of need
In the archives
The drum is found
Tik tok the clock runs
Buttons and codes
A revolution info-technology.

Late Slate Date Statement 1841
Today, blank slate but barely scratched
must soon, with predecessors matched,
discover that it is dispatched
beneath time's stubble which sees hatched
new generation Lethe latched
which, pauper, plays with paper patched
until, in turn, from earth is snatched.
Tomorrow, many may not see,
Tomorrow turns to history,
and thence returns as all must be
re-archived with celerity,
unanswered moral mystery.
His story, her uncertainty
together R.I.P. oubli.
Between the two, one's too aware
of pointlessness that splitting hair
precarious may prove! Beware
of splits sectarian, unfair

Within Reach
Prick up your dulled ears, be brave;
Hear the dislodged dirt flying
Listen; the shovels of subservience
Bury truth but carve out your grave.
If a measure of wisdom still remains;
Listen attentively and lift up your eyes.
Remember what you learned as a child.
Release the thirst for ill-gotten gains.
Look upon the mound of soil
Incline your head to this word,
Don't disregard this pronouncement.
In time, it rewards your labour and toil.
Taste with your scalded tongues,
Your now-forgotten native fare.
Wonder at that temperamental jive;
An archived litany of faults harangue.

For More Than A Lifetime
Clear pictures I see of the You I once knew
Words in my head still say 'I love you'
So this faithful heart is yours to behold
Each anniversary, be it silver or gold.
After one lifetime of ecstasy,
Close by your side I'm still longing to be.
Archives will show a love quite divine.
Here on this earth ~
And on Heaven's Cloud Nine.

The Poem Was Written In Mind And Lost
The poem was written in mind and lost-
Like so many thousands of pages
Like whole archives and whole civilizations
It will be unknown-
Dying happens all the time – naturally-
And staying alive is a limited option only
We cannot save our own holy words for long.
These lines too
Will be buried one day
In the eternal land of silence.

Cheekah Bow Bow
I saw you in the disco
Last night in San Francisco
The way you used your joystick
It really makes my mouse click
Come sit down on my laptop
Lets do a little hiphop
Let's go into a chatroom
And do a little boom boom
I saw you in the disco
Last week in San Francisco
The way you used your joystick
Has really made me feel sick
The doctor checked my harddrive
A virus in my archive
My disc was not protected
And now I am infected

Kiss Of Peace
you are the flesh misplaced
in the darkness of the grave.
with a soul saved; soul of the brave
You are the horizon of the day
that keeps shifting it's setting
raising with it the hope of her dwelling
you are the African Nile
that traces it's way up the frontiers
and your springs never fall back
You are the Alphabet missing
in this poem of love
but the rhyme never fading
You are the one gone, swept by the winds of fate
but caught by the grace of God
into the archive of mercy

These Words Have Become My Friends
If you should someday,
Find my words in the archives.
And discover the thoughts I have,
Shared in my way.
Just know...
I too have grown to know life.
And have come to enjoy,
All that I have described from my heart...
My head,
And sometimes with eyes
In observance to connect them,
For you!
Feel them.
See them...
And come to know them well.
These words have become my friends!

Villanelle on a Proverb
The heart once broken is a heart no more.
—Edna St. Vincent Millay
The proverb says that time confers relief,
heals a crimson gash or knits whole a bone
and years unlock a knuckled fist of grief
that clenches emptiness in disbelief
to keep one's wits from being overthrown,
while time, the proverb says, confers relief
from cleaving wounds, paradoxical thief,
that also tears apart fused hearts grown
beyond the lock of knuckled-fisted grief
half-hearts collapsed empty in unbelief
at finalities beneath lids of stone,
while time, proverbially, confers relief

Record Of Mighty Arrest
Recording names of stupor corresponds to success,
The dossier of might, a charter of demand.
We mimic the italics of names all around,
A dossier has been published of one’s cross.
The evidentiary record, the archives, the registry,
All amount to this same collection of names, proper.
Shot at the face, we take in hand and put to notice
Sure ways of arresting and sending to the places suited.
