the street I live in smells of bad perfume
the house I live carries a damp smell
the treetops my birds live in
shoke all of their nests
will there remain any trace

Fil's birthday being early May
She threw an Easter party.
Everyone brought eggs.
The power went off,
The chocolate soft,
Dali-ed in its foil.
It flowed across the lino floor,
No-one could keep their legs.

With both hands trembling on her hips
Her eyes they too were so love-in
That he pulled away at her silk napkin
She held him like he were a teaspoon
But he felt just like a great big baboon

Dream scape at night when you were not beside me

Time melts for sure you have seen
how Dali did it once tables float in air
hairs become rain and eyes
can be suns or moons in technicolor
skies like sweeping brooms made of
leafless branches of dead trees
in all these there is one horrible limitation

Where Am I Heading For?

i've gone to Ireland
stopped at the United Kingdom
slept in the Virgin Islands
and left U.S.A for good
after a week
of jet setting
there is no Disneyland
in me anymore

in South Africa
