Gypsey Eyes
It was the eyes that drew me in
Slinking 'round in every direction
Dark as the deepest midnight
Shifting by self-imposed selection
It was the bracelets and eyes together
Clanking bangles and dark brown surprise
Feather boa's and eyes that offerd no alibi's
Dangling rings from the ears of the skies
It was the seduction of one
By a vagabond thief in disguise
She was all: feathers, bangles and fluff
With the most incredible Gypsey Eyes

Needful Awakening
Long and hard
The bantering
Shook my eardrums
Drunken revelery
Had clamoured
Endlessly
A Celebration
Of Bacchus
Could cause
No worse
Debauchery
Lewd and
Lasvascious
Spouting out
Carnal inferences
Bent a little too
Far to the left
Leaning on
The near side
Of perversion

Pigeon
My life is in a peaceful state
Secure from red-headed tricks
Sequestered from hairy Neanderthals
High up in a watch tower of red brick;
We're always on the look out now
We watch the sovereign wood
For her freckles in uncordial light
Pretend-societys-refined-classy Ms. Robinhood;
She and her long time accompolice in crime
A Master peddler of flesh sales
Are suspects now in Olive Point
And must answer questions 'bout their trails;
The trails that they left behind them
When finishing up a yellow-eyed scheme
Once master manipulators of the money grab
In the once fertile soil of their pigeons evergreen;

Halcyon Days Of Our Teddy
Tranquil seas they oft' beckoned to me~
From the deep fathoms yes they did call~
Echo's of a peaceful sapphire ocean~
Reverberated against New Englands vast tidal wall;
Oh the days could be so idyllic~
As were the calm seas of yesterdays lore~
Where happiness 'twas e'er so deep and undeniable~
Back in the days of yore;

Anomaly
She was a medley of synonyms
A jumble of sheer contradiction
Confusing her legions of readers
So busy, trying to paint her world of fiction;
Her perfect puncuation life relied on it
A vocabulary brilliantly used
Though conspicuous lags over the years called out
She would never go anywhere without her shoes;
No expose's of her darker side...
Of her days spent in a 9 by 5 cell
No hint of her dirty laundry
Hung out to dry, in her self made Hell;
No hint of her past actions or consequences
Self-hidden, her malicious greed-filled side
Bought and sold to the Devil long ago
Today, it makes for, a most bumpy ride;

My Mr. Big
My Mr. Big Loved:
Spinning self-centered tales-
He was like the city himself;
Cold, exhausting and infuriating...
Much later in our relationship-
When i washed the city off of my face-
I could clearly see in my mirror of past reflection;
Its not the journey but the destination-
And upon arriving:
Its the learning-

And Your Ego Is Your Master
It was a dichtomy of forces---
That shattered our 'ship'...
An ego enlarged and self-centered...
That stung like a lash from a whip! ;
It was a 'dis' of all 'dis's'...
A correction of my: Faux Pas? '
Where the words of your disgruntled...
Were exposed to view without flaw! ;
It shattered our communication for good---
As you knit-picked away...
Ill humor spewed from your keys you see-correcting me--
In all the words you'd say! ;
You dropped me like a 'Bad Habit'...yes you did...
Even though it was you i extoled! ! !
Praising you-in all that you' do--
Alas, your huge Ego just called! ;

Cy-clops
Isolation sits
...On islands
And tiny inlets
...And bays
Its halls all closed
...Up
And surrounded by
...Water
My protection from
The Cycloptic Ogres
...That have
Almost buried me
With chains of tired
...green algae
And hardened corral
I mend my injuries
...Slowly
Seeking revenge

Hyperbole
Like a melodramatic tsunami-
You self destruct our: 'To Be'-
Your harbor-wave of monumental catastrophe-
Washes away, the only remnant of me.
I was the shore of your discontent-
My alibaster sands were never to become a pearl-
You were the rage inside the eye of the storm-
An Earthquake of The World...
Disasters take our breath away-
Floods of grand intensity-
Come whirling and roaring over and over-
Stripping the very essence of me.
Bays and inlets of our cacophony remain-
Dissonance reverberates over our disaster-
While you continue to wear your diadem-
Unmoved, you remain, a diva-male dischord master...

Cinnamon Girl~~
Shadows cry in loneliness this day...
As dusk peeks in, for but a short while
No sanctuary for the immigrants of noon-just yet
Soon darkness arrives with no denial;
Barriers border the paths of WRONG now...
Misdeeds legs are sore, cold and bare-
Exhausted from their fugitive life
Feeding on crumbs of self earned despair;
Foolish actions with no conscience made
'Neath the once secure blanket of night
Comes back to haunt the greedy and proud-
Abandoned now, from goodness's sight;
The moon and it's infinite light...
Shines upon the once hidden pathways of crime
Deciphered are the hieroglyphs of the: 'Cinnamon Girl'
Answers arrive at the Aurora of: Daylight Saving Time;

Santa Fe Recipes
... Its hotter than a Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
...Sizzling like a Friday Afternoon...
Heated like the Passion of the Summer Sun
...Brillant like the Glow...
When day is near done
...Radiant like the Moon Beams...
On a Once In A Blue moon Night
...Its a rare glistening-scorching...
'Well Done'...Of a afternoon of delight!

Saving Grace
Insecurity 'twas my banner
In shambles i wore it so well
Knocked down and trodded upon
I reached the bowel's of hell
No self esteem could ever save me
From bitter words and lies
Sticking me with sharp daggar's
Cutting me with their slicing eyes
Defenceless i lay grieving
Upon my mourning bed
Knowing full well i'd been defeated
From viscious word that were said
Telling me i would never be much
Maybe just an ignorant whore
They continued to belittle my psyche
'Til i couldn't take anymore

It's the In Between
It's the in between...
...Before the now
After the today...
...Where i am at peace
In your arms...
...Like a dew covered Rose
In the early morn of day...
...At peace in the serenity
That breezes trhough this way...
...It's not so much the time spent
Or even, the way, you hold me so near...
...It's the in between time spent
That makes loving you so dear...
...It's that special melody playing
In our Garden Of Floral Memory...
...It is not, in the now of today
But more in the petals of Eternity...
...Each velvet Rose petal, dew covered in morn
In the in between, of yesterday...
...And the morrow, that may never, for us, be borne!

DawnBreak
I welcome the Dawn with much elan'
And ever hopeful for a day of peace
Sunrise light- ends dark of night
And the Hummingbird arrives upon a breeze
The morning lawn 'tis sprinkled in dew
A glistening sort of reminder of new day
Summertime sunshine glisten's serenitys hope
'Neath an azure blue summer display
A pebbled brook rolls a warm stream
Near by 'neath a weeping willow tree
Oh-the ambience and utter verve
Emits hope for a peace-filled eternity

Scribe of No Redemption
So many spikes driven-
Into my broken soul-
O' yes you did...
You succeeded long ago.
Listen........
You appointed yourself-
Judge, jury and man of the hour-
With a hand honed axe-
You weilded your wrath driven power.
Watch........
Cutting to razor sharp-
My tear filled eyes opened keen-
I will advise you that its been horrendous-
Not simply a very bad dream.
Absorb.......

Mrs. Weatherby
Woe to you Mrs. Weatherby...
So greedy, self centered, always first
Real feelings are not hidden anymore...
Love only, your unquenchable thirst;
Rebecca, Rebecca, Rebecca...
Leaving your Andrew, just standing there!
Doing what Susan would never have done...
And what Martha, surely wouldn't dare;
So caught up in your 'Real World'
Is July 3rd, always a Happy B-day?
Post office boxes and moving around, constantly..
Insurance for Andy's birthday, come May?
Lost track of how many times that we read it!
A Southwest saying for sure-
'You're always first...real feelings...love only'
Today, are you feeling more secure?
Real estate investing now, Rebecca?
Or marketing insurance, Ms. Monroe?
Oops, sorry about using your former name...
What a viscious web you've woven & look how it still grows! ! ! !

Indian Summer Wonder
What is this field of flowers?
With cover of blue sky & Autumn sun?
Roses still abloom aplenty
Even as frosty day has begun
Marveling at the forms and shapes of it all
I wander myself down the violet lane
Noting the perfection of this Indian Summer
The self-blazing flowers call out my name
The motion of the wind in the tree branches
Dress up this discrete journey i am on
Caterpillar moves slowly along one of its leaves
As the Warblers break forth in new song
Glorious-glorious Autumn simply dances
As delicious pumpkin and spice fill the air
Indian Summer romances this Earths landscape
While i kneel for a: Thanksgiving Prayer
Praying for all of this goodness to always be
Asking for many a glorious days noon
Basking in this hour of breath-taking splendour
While embracing a most brillant Harvest moon

Femme Fatale~
Affected by airs of pretense...
Haughty companion of pride
Promises of Rainbows Pot Of Gold
Ruthless designs inside;
Lust 'tis her first choice
As is longings for the finer things...
Pretense of opulence and sophistication
Grasping at the imaginary that it brings;
Her world revolves around sin...
Death is her second favorite friend
Running bare before every man-a conquest?
In hopes of achieving an end! ;
But time has run out for her
She can no longer hide her nympho desire
She would do well to unite with Mr. Carnal
He would surely light her fire;
For he has the riches she is looking for...
With a bonus of Porn, drugs and lust
With him it would be so perfect
For they would not combust from lack of trust! ;

Conundrum
I was sandwiched in between days of Fall...
While the Worlds classroom learned...
Covered in a pile of rotten leaves-uninciteful! ! !
Soon to be placed in a bonfire to burn;
Helpless-so-utterly-helpless-i screamed...!
Though the brisk Northern wind drowned me out...
Caught in a most distressing circumstance...
And filled to the crisp with doubt;
Around me the self-blazing Mums continued to grow-
Why-they just seemed to October thrive!
But i was helplessley sanwiched between Fall days...
With each hour-feeling less alive;
Fearful of the bonfire soon to be set...!
And the not too far off Winter cold...
I prayed to the Light to help in my fight...
And for release into the Sweet Autumns Gold;

Too Good To Be True
He came into my life quite effortlessly...
Though t'was predicted ahead of time-
Arriving in a gilded horse drawn carriage...
A handsome devil gifted with words of rhyme;
He used his romantic sonnets to mesmerize...
I tell you he used every trick in the book...
A razzle-dazzle courtship soon followed...
Along with his most beguiling looks;
He trifled aimlessly with my heart...
And took me in by subtle degrees...
Wooing me with tantalizing heated lines...
That melted my hearts self-imposed freeze;
Oh child-I'll just tell you this-
The relationship couldn't have been more perfect-if planned...
He captured my brain and soul as well-
And then boldly asked me for my hand;
