The Eyes Have It
It was in the cathedral of open dreams
The firmament, we call the sky...
Nearby birds were on the wing
My eyes, met yours, with but a sigh;
It was in the relentless mountains
Those imminent peaks, we strive to climb
Ascending, it seemed, into infinity...
Where your eyes, did indeed, meet mine;
It was in the clouds of perfection
Where the wind dare not go, nor try
Near to Heaven and far away from Earth
That we-spoke of love-eye to eye;

Gypsey Eyes
It was the eyes that drew me in
Slinking 'round in every direction
Dark as the deepest midnight
Shifting by self-imposed selection
It was the bracelets and eyes together
Clanking bangles and dark brown surprise
Feather boa's and eyes that offerd no alibi's
Dangling rings from the ears of the skies
It was the seduction of one
By a vagabond thief in disguise
She was all: feathers, bangles and fluff
With the most incredible Gypsey Eyes

~ Lessons ~
You undressed me
With those eyes
Convoluted and
Appraising
Naked in my ambition
Twice scorned
Bound to a fettered bed
Tethered to time and circumstance
And the impossibility of your eyes

Blue and You
It was Panama
And blue butterflies
Significant as Blue Velvet
Blue as the sea's surrounding it
Blue as your eye's
With glimmer's of surprise
Dancing with your smile
Near to Panama's quarter mile
You could have won me over
I was vunerable
And open
Empty arms
Just waiting
Your charms
Mixed signals
Sent
Too much time
Spent
Wondering?
Flirtation or imagination?

Before You~
Before your big brown eyes
My green eyes were always blue
Before the warmth of your arms
The cold of Seattle was all that i knew;
Before your great big Texas smile
That melted my beleagured heart
All that i knew were faces of sorrow
And moments that tore me apart;
Today, at home in your brown eyes
You make my green eyes just glow
At home in the warmth of your arms
Forgotten, 'tis the cold of Seattle of so long ago;

Wil-O-the-Wisp
Enchanted Wil-O-The Wisp Wanderer
You cannot escape his sea-blue
Eyes View
For set in water they are
Upon this beautiful form
Of You
Cladden In White Chantilly Lace
A flowing gown of floral crochet
But somewhat sheer in certain light
Seen in his eye near the bay
You walk along the sands O' time
Upon the shorelines
Passing Scene
O' enchanted Wil-O-The-Wisp Wanderer
You are the woman of his dreams
His sea of blue eyes come calling
Beckoning you away from the shore
Perhaps, anew, A Mermaid borne
And a Wil -O- The- Wisp Wanderer

Address
Time flies Phillip, you know-
I think black and white will work just fine-
Many people have been out to make their Mark...
Everyone is involved this time...
Leon the Lion from Nebraska-
Lincoln from Pauls place-
George and his upland verse-
And Jam, complete this race...
Get to it now Phillip, you know-
The Golden Rule does not apply-
Even though she is another person entirely now-
You know: 'An eye for an eye'...
She got disgusted with Jams suggestion-
Understand it made her sick-
So Phillip get out your paint-
And paint her address numbers quick...

The Universe (An Acrostic)
~Sun~
Super bright
Ultra light
Never night
~Moon~
Mostly seen
On days in between
Only the new
And not often blue
~Stars~
Shining in the sky
Twinkling bright in my eye
Always glowing like a Firefly
Radiating splendour from high
Shining sparkles never die

Road Trip in Spring
Rolling Green Pastoral land
For as far as the eye
Can see
The lush verdant Oak and Elm
Outshine the other tree's
Rounded bush-lined lanes of
Concrete
As above we look to the aside Dale
Up-down-over and around
Glimpses of many a country trail
And traveling down Ranger Hill
From up above so very high
Brings more lush green beauty
That sparkles pure brillance
Into one's eyes
Oh what a grand canvas 'tis this
Our higher power has created for we

Broken Hearted Twice
The years are weighing me down most beloved
For i am but a shipwreck of a woman, my dear
Clinging to mid-lifes glorified Golden
Yet letting go of agony's bitter tears;
Looking through the windowpane of our life
Yellow fields-they oft' turn to pale green
Whispers from the winds of sweet surrender
Yet mistakes refuse to embellish my dreams;
Oh, oh, my most beloved
Am i now invisible to thine eye?
Do the Angels fear to tread near to me?
Or 'tis our re-union perhaps nigh?
Spheres of half-thought-half-spoken love words
Changed the course of Winters Arrows Of Ice
Tomorrow, oh tomorrow-what shall it bring-my darling?
In loving you-I am broken hearted...twice;

~ Colours ~
Tonight, i look to you
Visible in your azure blue
Eyes that beguile
Touching the mist of desire
Taken by the winds of need
Absorbed in the heat of you
'Neath falling spirals of Amber Leaves
We dream in technicolour

Still Life In Oils-De Jour
You painted a most exquisite picture
...Brush stroked her canvas delicately
With feathered brush-a touch
...Tinting with royal hues-
And crimson red coloured views...
'Tis a still life of a woman in degrees...
...A breath-taking piece of divinity...
A true masterpiece of elegance...
...Your virgin work of art...
Captured by your most artistic keen eye
...Creme De la Creme Ala Carte...

Colours And Sounds
The morning buzzes;
The thwack of a wet
Newspaper is an eye
Opener.
Six-A.M. Mahogany
With Apricot rising;
Garbage truck playing
Notes of a fatigued
Bass Viol...
And the chorus begins.
Early Morning Sounds:
The Sparrows hitting
High notes;
The clatter of junk mail...
Paper on aluminum;
Days bedazzled with
Mahogany-Apricot-
Azure-Mauve and
Butter Yellow;
Sounds of metal

~Rustic Winter~
Mountains high
Chilled to the bone
Evergreens sigh
Shivering tones
The cold-is a dance
Filled with rustic ambience
With survivors brave stance
Eclectic deep woods and
Deep woods romance
It's just little ole me
And my wise old muse
Out in the cabin
Of most majestic of views'
Snow capped mountains
Delight to the eye
Building a Promethus fire
From high in the sky
Warming up winter cabin
Of cold
Beckoning in all brand new

Mystic Disco
Mystic Disco
...Play your musical sound...
...Glamour and music passion...
They go 'round and 'round
Platitudes and Attitudes
...A dime a dozen they garner many an eye...
Remembering the past
...back in the day of Midnight Sky...
Oh, how your smile moved me
...Oh, how your candle glowed...
Oh, how your body stirred me
...Shaking my entire Soul...
Earth quaken and tornadic
...Mesmerized my entire being...
Wrapped in the warm of your arms
...Amazed, i love what i am seeing...

Memory
Oh, how i have missed David's smile
Or the feel of his denim against my skin
Long ago on Graham St.
As days were long and passion swift
And the Times Headline Banner was: Love
I can still see his face in my mind's eye
Unchained melody comes to mind
Bill Medley's twin reflection
It is as clear as yesterday
When youth knew true love
Olympia now makes his home
Residing with another
Across the sprawling expanse of evergreen
Ah, but i still miss his smile
His denim
The Northern Lights
And Love-Sweet-Love

Snared
I watched your coy brown eyes ogle...
They lingered at the bar-
A Lady dressed to high heaven-
Was flashing her blue eyes like stars;
You were totally taken in...
As if in some sort of trance-
She had you at your first glance-
Born: 'A cakewalk to romance';
Her long legs were so inviting...
Her smile ravished your mind...
A tall drink of Scotch dressed in red-
Roped you in with ties that forever bind;

Beginnings
I found you
Right before
My very eyes
And i wasn't looking;
Like a bolt out of
The blue
Lagoon reflecting
Through still waters
That run deep
Like baby blue skies selecting
Are your magnetic eyes
That have frozen
Me into a misty blue velvet trance
A spellbound glance
Enticed by you
Out of the blue
Borne to be ever true
Me and you and our misty blue romance
