How My Story Goes

Walking out in the roses and the waves
Not knowing where I am,
And you not knowing why you feel the need
To bring your body so near to me
When your eyes are so far away,
Engorging.
And the mountains are filled with evil spirits
While Pedro takes off his close,
And the Christmas trees sleep like starving conquistadors
Fearing that they have been brought too
Far into the wilds of the state of Florida,
Beautiful men so full of turquoise thrills.
Men on roller-skates,
Men slinging the news to girls who live in their mothers
And fathers trailer parks,
Girls who always go out tattooed and runny like liquid

Killing By Computer

There is now computer simulated duck murder training..
similar to the computerized bombing of Iraq and Afghanistan
from Florida by computer.
We have a presidential candidate in the US who killed with
such abstraction... bombing Vietnamese women he did not
see from the air. The abstraction of violence generates a greater
level of violence.

This is not to be cocky, but, I go over real well at Comic-Con. I've done quite a few Comic-Cons, and I enjoy the hell out of them. They are so much fun, and so bizarre. I've done the FX Show in Florida, Wizard-World in Chicago, Comic-Con in San Diego, Wonder-Con in San Francisco, the Comic-Con in New York, and I've done them numerous times.

Corruption in the system just grows-
So many now turning their heads...

Hypochondriacs
Spend the winter at the bottom of Florida and the summer on top of

Marvelous Millie

A sweet lady with a loving smile,
Millie Mercedes McCloud has gracious style.
St. Catherine, Jamaica is her birth place,
she is wise, smart with charm and grace.
She started a boutique in New York that was in good taste.
Millie sold jewelry, clothes and lingerie,
she named it 3M which was short for her name.
She was successful, but changed her fate,
she moved from New York to the Sunshine State.
Yes, she moved to Florida where she now resides,
her grandchildren are very creative artists,
which makes Millie happy inside.
Her grandchildren are two girls and one boy,
she is proud of them, they bring her joy.
Yes, Sedeya and Serae are her daughter Simone’s
they keep in touch, they always phone.
Long Island is the granddaughters birthplace,
Grandson Jewel born in Jamaica,
mostly speaks English till this day.

Americans who know nothing else about firearms are all too familiar with the name AR-15. It’s the semi-automatic weapon that murderers have used in many of the most notorious and highest-casualty gun killings of recent years: Aurora, Colorado. Newtown, Connecticut. Orlando, Florida. San Bernardino, California. Now, with modified versions, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Sutherland Springs, Texas... A little bullet pays off so much in wound ballistics. Shouldn't one be conscious of losing fat?
Especially if one manages one's diet.
And is aware of that fact!

And yet one who manages another,
Where others are employed.
Has the audacity to say...
They had no idea,
How things turned out...
In the way they have.
But can account for a time,
Of having known some excess!

But yet can pocket and create excuses,
For the disappearance of missing funds!

Which one would you hold more accountable?
And why do all their relatives,
Manage to have Summer homes in Florida?

Florida Progress It's Called

Houses built around the lake
With "no trespassing" signs
Where was once our swimming hole
Country Club meets and dines
From a cool, clear, crystal spring
We drew our water to drink
Waste was dumped from paper mills
and made the whole place stink
This all sounds crude, and so it is
But the facts remain the same
Memories are all that we have left
No one willing to take the blame
Changes, progress, or so they say
But I have a different mind

Curious George

Meeting George for the very first time,
at the play entitled “Zombies Come To Life”.
He was sitting in the aisle,
I told him to sit by me and then I smiled.
George believed in me and my art,
he told my parents from the start.
He knew I was talented and smart.
He was like a Dad I never had,
“George helped me which I’m glad.”
I am appreciative more then you know,
he got me to Florida and a trip to Mexico.
Now George told me some time ago,
“Finish your book series
and then you will make
your rainbow of gold.”

A little angel who sings beneath an old bachelor's little sick heart

Thank you my dear little angel
Sing little louder please
As my hearing is little weak
Like the fragile little heart.
I remember once
I too sang my sad song
With my little companion viola,
Low pitch in solitary parks.
But angels were not seen
Those days.
Yes, my lost youth full of songs
But nobody knows
And only the withered flowers
Just smiled with a teardrop
In their innocent eyes
But I was little scared of unnecessary taboos
And left behind!

Sunshine State

I dream the Florida of Body Heat
With Kathleen Turner twisting in her dress,
Wind chimes unsettling my sweaty sleep
And lovers marinating in deceit.

It is a place of sudden lusciousness
Where sheriffs know to bury bodies deep,
The trailer parks are called communities
And reptiles wait for opportunities.

As swamp gas rises near the local drive,
Old men debate an alien event.

I curse slow traffic off I-95
Though handmade signs remind me to repent.

Past reeds and strip-mall parking lots I drive,
Still wondering where Kathleen Turner went.

Distance means nothing to me.
It only makes me want to see you longer.
