Autumn Sunrise
Autumn Sunrise

Autumn is here, while the cold blankets the air,
the autumn leaves show their majestic yellows,
with oranges and outstanding browns.
They fall with mysteries of the weather changes,
while the wind becomes stronger,
The colors change on the plants
with flowers even trees blooms with color.
The autumn clouds roll in to blankets
in the skies with stillness and quiet,
the coolness in the mornings with the evenings
wants you to snuggle up in a warm blanket.
Autumn trees as colorful as you can see
that is blankets the land for its winter’s dream,

Autumn Born
Autumn born and autumn led
Autumn named, maybe autumn wed
For who knows what the wind will blow around your knees
Or what will fall
From the bigger trees.
I feel it stirring, I feel it rise
The rumbling of the thunder, the bruising of the skies
And here we go
again.
Lightning shows up the hairline cracks
In the heavens high beyond the chimney stacks
And gods might fall
To your feet.
All’s in ravage, all is wild
But in the midst of this tempest stand you my child
Your chin is up
Your arms are out and your mouth a cup

The Falling of Autumn
Arising in the morning's dawning,
amid the damp and dewy air,
a chill pervades the earth with longing ~
while autumn passes unaware.
A frosty breath blown by the window,
sighed with regret upon the pane,
awaits to face the long December ~
while autumn sings a short refrain.
The tree now bends its boughs so lonely.
Its leaf has flown to pasture ground,
bereft upon a dream of emerald ~
while autumn glows with eyes of brown.
Though winter sleep is but a whisper,
a'whispering to one golden day,
it tiptoes softly in white footsteps ~
while autumn flees in bright array.

Farewell To Summer
It has begun: a few leaves are falling;
Autumn has started its gentle calling.
Summer is slowly coming to an end;
Now autumn wants to be our friend.
During autumn, we may feel a little cold,
But, in return, we've been promised gold.
Golden leaves will be found all around:
Up in the trees, and down on the ground.
Leaves of yellow, brown, orange, and fiery red,
Will form a coloured carpet to soften our tread.
We'll be presented with a whole wealth of riches,
As, from summer to autumn, the season switches.
The tall, towering trees will be set ablaze,
As traces of summer are slowly erased.
Sorely missed will be summer's long days;
Sorely missed will be summer's warm rays.

Autumn
Autumn days are here
Autumn Days filled with fear
Woeful shadows of the war
Took away the peace out of the souls
Nothingness is all that we own
The souls are bared of patience
Yet the poverty ebbed the spirits are pale howeling surges
Cradling upon altars covered with white veil
Autumn time used to be always sad
But this time it came in blues
This time the awesome colors of leaves are lost
Ah Alas, , this time autumn came wearing sullen, sorrowful came wearing blacks

In Autumn's Moonlight
In Autumn's Moonlight
Leaves dance by chance...
In winds of change.
In Autumn's Moonlight
Shadows turn yesterday's garden...
To a rustle of blue and gray.
In Autumn's Moonlight
A breath turns to mist...
and the memory of a past love...
is a cool tear, upon a brisk soul.

A New Term Begins
Forty Word Poem:
When summer turns to autumn
There's no contentment to compare
Coolwaves replace heatwaves
New friendships linger there.
Children with leather satchels
Wander in groups to school...
For 'boy meets girl' in autumn
And a midsummer dream
Becomes an autumn jewel.

Autumn On Parade
Autumn in nature and autumn in our faces.
The sultry breeze enfeebles, the glowering sun
Oppresses the ailing spirit in our breasts,
Shrivels the life trembling among the twigs of a poplar.
The yellow colours twirl in the final dance,
(A frantic desire of leaves dying one by one).
Our joys, passions, our ultimate desires
Fall and are trampled in the autumn mud.
An oak tree, reflected in the tears of heaven,
Tosses and bleeds in gigantic passion.
'To live! I want to live!' - it fights for breath,
Piercing the storm with cries of grief.
The horizon, drowned in fog, joins in
The lamentation. In prayer dejected fruit trees
Fold imploring branches - but in vain, they know.
Tomorrow they will die... Is there nowhere hope?
The eye is saddened. Saddened, too, the heart

Milk & Honey
Gold and silver
Is the autumn
Soft and tender
Are the skys
Yes and knows
All the answers
Written in
My true loves eyes
Autumns leaving
Winter is coming
I think that ill
Be moving along
Ive got to leave her
And find another
Ive got to sing
My hearts true song
Round and round
The burning circle
All the seasons
One, two and three

Crappy boating
Rain, it's raining.
Not that good
For sailing
Though for the autumn hue
Of the golden autumn eve
For thought,
That's food.

Autumn Leaf Fall
Colourful leaves fall through the air,
Red, orange and yellow.
The ones on the ground start to rot,
Black, brown and purple.
Some get caught in the winter bared trees,
Gold, green and silver.
Leaves of the autumn,
The autumn rainbow,
These are the colours of the autumn leaf fall.

Fade to Grey
Shane and Shay raking leaves in the autumn breeze
oh to be free under the trees in that autumn breeze
Tumbling and falling, scarlet red and amber warm
Shane and Shay in sync with fall
my loves, my life
The warm colors of autumn dusk, all too fast to fade
Winter beckons at the door; harkening no more falls
Scarlet tears mixed with gentle blue
sorrow and joy of maternal dues
Separate now, no longer one
No more days of raking leaves in an autumn breeze
Amber warm love gone gray
Why do my young ones stray

Autumn Dreams
Grinning pumpkins, falling leaves,
Dancing scarecrows, twirling breeze,
Color, color everywhere,
Autumn dreams are in the air! Autumn is a woman growing old,
Ready to let what is dead go,
Her youthful radiance has faded, and that's sad,
But underneath she discovers a
spread of colors she didn't know she had. Little children screech and run,
Ghosts and goblins having fun,
Color, color everywhere,
Autumn dreams are in the air! Around her a kaleidoscope of leaves are whirling.
Deep within her visions stir of new life that will be,
A budding, a flowering, a promise unfurling.
Autumn is a woman growing old,
Ready to let what is dead go. Calico kittens, rain falling rat-a-tat-tat,
Big full moon, funny black cats,
Color, color everywhere,
Autumn dreams are in the air!
