Wistful Eyes
So distant are my eyes now,
their focus far away.
Pensive are my eyes now
but at least now I can say.
'I know the pain that love can bring.
Before you, I knew not a thing.'
So cold are my eyes now,
their stare a frozen form.
Bitter is their look now
but at least I've known the storm.
I know the passion love can give.
Before you, how did I live?
Can I soften these eyes of mine now?
Will their wistful look ever leave?
I hardly think that's possible
for the've lost their light.
I grieve.

Hence, All You Vain Delights from the Nice Valour
Hence, all you vain delights,
As short as are the nights
Wherein you spend your folly:
There's nought in this life sweet,
If man were wise to see't,
But only melancholy,
O sweetest melancholy!
Welcome, folded arms, and fixed eyes,
A sigh that piercing mortifies,
A look that's fastened to the ground,
A tongue chained up without a sound;
Fountain-heads, and pathless groves,
Places which pale passion loves;
Moonlight walks, when all the fowls
Are warmly housed, save bats and owls;
A midnight bell, a parting groan:
These are the sounds we feed upon;
Then stretch our bones in a still gloomy valley,
Nothing's so dainty sweet as lovely melancholy.

Hark, The Inaudible!
a part dies
a part lives
hear that note
of melancholy
behind every
audible note of mirth
a part dies
a part lives
the thunder melts
floods the earth
hear those tears
the cloud sheds
a part dies
a part lives
blend of melancholy

Wistful
The wistful tiger wondered why
Some leaves were making noise...
He watched them slowly moving by
Yet knew they had no choice...
Something alive was very close...
And yet what could it be?
There was no scent that reached his nose...
It stayed a mystery...
Then all at once, as if by chance,
He saw some ants below...
They made those tiny leaves to dance
As onward they must go.
The wistful tiger humbly praised
The strength they all possessed
And marvelled as he stared amazed,
For teamwork made them blessed!
From them, that's how his hunting plans
Formed in his mind that day...
Wise is the mind that understands
That there's a better way!

The Moon And I
I love to walk on a summer night
with the moon above shining bright
with me in a sullen melancholic plight.
The night would be drab
with you out of sight
but I must cast aside
nagging thoughts out of mind
So why must i ponder over yesterday's flight
when here is the moon hunting me with its light?

A Charm for a Mad Woman
O heavenly med'cine, panacea high,
Restore this raging woman to her health,
More worth than hugest sums of worldly wealth,
Exceedingly more worth than any wealth.
O light of grace and reason from the sky,
Illuminate her mad-conceited mind,
And melancholy cease her wits to blind,
Cease, fearful melancholy, her wits to blind.

The 12,000,000
I'm depressed,
haunted by melancholy
that does not have a reflection
nor cast a shadow.
12,000,000 people live here in Tokyo.
I know I'm not alone.
Others must feel the way
I do.

To activate man’s brain
Have a woman to woo
And a child to cuddle.
Fall for some heroine,
Though formidable or forbidden,
To stimulates your sexual thoughts.
Eat enough chocolate.
Avoid the company of melancholic.
Move with the young and women.
Less watching, more doings
Less readings, more writings.
Then your brain will remain active.

The Poems Everyday In Your Life
it takes a lot of
frustrations,
a little inspiration
but more
of melancholic

for someone like
you to write
a poem
sometimes only
once a year
or nothing at all
not a poem
even
when they read it
or when
you read it
yourself
