Freedom

For freedom you and I enjoy.
At the cost of blood and tears.
Of those warriors all.
Who stand in harm’s way.

What compensation
must be petitioned?
To satisfy the toll
of those who gave so much.

To some merely a word.
A word tossed loosely around.
To use and abuse
over and over for personal gain.

What would our country be
without it’s freedom?
How much torment
would we suffer?

Transocean Ltd Strategy Time Money-Saving Decisions

Transocean Ltd our world’s largest off-shore oil rig company

after stain marking Gulf of Mexico inking in over 200 million
gallons of oil by rush exploding their rig Deep Water Horizon

at creating what President Barack Obama’s investigation commission
termed “an unacceptable amount of risk.” Secret Transocean policy
is revealed executive compensation bonuses motivating executives

Schisms

Going to the ends of the world
I take on new meanings and realities;
The further work entails a schism,
For wisdom has approached my door
And it has opened for this wisdom,
Forming afterwards a cloud of doubt.
This is compensation and reality,
There is a black ocean and cold dream,
Was there any further colour or light?
The end is a just man in the full health,
The ends of the plane universe
Create a new barrier, and it survives.
The meaning of this life
Is of a bird and an animal.

Total Consumption

We rely on symbols—caricatures
Designed for mass-seduction and allure.
We blindly believe in our avatars,
Surmising possibilities that are
Perversions of our pragmatic nature.

The frozen imagery literature
Provides us exists only to obscure
Our acknowledgement—to drift us afar.
We rely on symbols.

Because society cannot secure
The spectacles of our still immature
Thoughts, we embellish these facets that mar
Enjoyment with what could exceed the stars—
A compensation for corporature.
We rely on symbols.

Hoodoo / Voodoo Medicine Man

Silence, I'm ashamed, I was left as a child
Dragged from the cradle, I was weaned in the wild
Ran with the wolf pack, flesh torn to shreds
In the compensations, I was left there for dead
Read it in the paper it ain't fair
You know who today don't seem to care
Livin', lovin', gettin' loose
Masturbatin' with a noose
Now someone's kickin' out the chair
Some kind of voodoo
Come across this land
Some kind of voodoo
Be the medicine man
Everybody's lookin' at the sky
Don't believe the cover-ups and lies
They been tellin' us since birth
Pissin' off old Mother Earth
My gones are bygones prophesied
Some kind of voodoo
Come across this land

Politician's might, People's right

Public elect to make their representative
As member of house for welfare of society;
They think they are in house for sovereignty
Public who created, forget their nativity.

Public elect and make them mighty member.
Larger group creating smaller, is a mother.
Son enjoys power and wealth without cap
But mother is left for starvation and rap.

If a mother delivered but still suffer pain
What more can be shameful for that son.
Deprived of rights promised in constitution
But has no right to claim compensation.

A Soldier's Wife.

She was married to a soldier,
Who left for the camp,
A month after holidays,
Word coming of war in siachen
In kashimr, soon arrived
The news of demise
Of her dear husband,
By a captian of the army,
Annoucing a compensation
Of half a million bucks,
Which was claimed
By his parents and in laws,
She was made a destitute,
Sent to her own parents,
Crying the sorrows
Of the dear departed,
Growing his child
In her bowels, despising
Her cruel fate, actually
Suffering the sacrice for the nation,

The Poem Of Shabbat Morning Is Gone

THE POEM OF SHABBAT MORNING IS GONE

The poem of Shabbat morning is gone-
Forgotten forever
As if it never was.
It came to me
And I could not write it down
And now it is gone.

The world is filled with poems which are lost
And never written down
Great works and great mysteries
Never to really be.

In all those billions of unrecorded lives
That went before us on this earth
There were many many poems lost.

I write this down now
as compensation-

Too much to Swallow

Most make believe in anything they read -
'amazing', 'awesome' slip from flippant pen
to praise, to raise reaction, and again
to draw attention to their need to feed
from inspiration others gift their greed,
or compensation masking tasking pain
when creativity is on the wane.
Objectives may at times evolve to seed
transparency - yet where all seem agreed
lowest common denominators rein
the fountain which should not need to explain
how this thought led to that poetic steed.
'A mouthful of originality'
too much to swallow proves to minds at sea!

As I Enjoy the Joy of Knowing You

AS I ENJOY THE JOY OF KNOWING YOU
Nestor endured two hundred years despair
Awaiting joy, anticipating you.
Tristan Isolde took within his care
As compensation for not knowing you.
Sweet Capulet with Montagu did share,
Hero Lysander loved, - both ill did fare,
As neither knew the joy of knowing you.
Nature rests its case, perfection fair,
As now I know the joy of knowing you.
To be! - a miracle beyond compare,
As I enjoy the the joy of knowing you.
Soul sends to soul, serenity to share
Here on this earth as shed is every care,
All through true joy of knowing you for YOU!

5th June 2000

The crash of AIRLINK at KOTOKA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT,
But without enough transparency to help the victims involved;
And my father was one of the passengers.
This occured on 5th June 2000 and only 42 passengers survived the crash,
But AIRLINK has not resolved the case up to date;
And it is very appalling without any compensation.
It is like the Chaplain and the Chaperon,
And my father was admitted at the '37 Military Hospital' in Accra-Ghana;
But AIRLINK has forgotten about the 'Roses' on board,
However my father is still alive to tell about his own experiences on this crash.

Crossbow

With a crossbow an arrow struck and pierced
The neck so worn by the gentry, for the compensation.
It sent his heart recruitment, delight and then
Resignation, according to knighthood and the kings.

This picture was a game of dice, no prowess
Or courtesy, according to the laws of probability.
One of the gentry so inflicted marched forward
Like a remote order, the file and rank being narrow.

The crossbow struck him, disfiguring his brow,
Making it frowned upon, for the brow was His.
This head gorged appeared on the floor of the jungle,
Like a holy relic, accustomed to mighty stares.

Orgasmic Compensation Offered in my Cosmic Defeat.

Star child, daughter of Cassiopeia
Immense being of the night
hovering above me
heaven's intimate eclipse
Oblivion's gravitational navigator
dark matter shepherdess of the abyss
Manipulating the spheres steady ellipse!

Allow me the chance to chart your constellations
hands like fiery mineral
streaking across your Milkyway torso

Celestial Body! Combustible Star factory!
Stellar supernova shotgun eyes!
Naked black hole! Destroyer of worlds!
Entering the void between your thighs
earthly body meets its demise

Oh Organic connection!

Betrayal

Can I offer a magnifying glass,
Or does a mirror suffice?
To scrutinize my insides
I will provide you with a knife...

I transport your artistic energies,
What compensation to me?
To be used as an instrument
Of consequent loyalty...

What allowance of proprietorship
Granted you possession
Of my equilibrium
For some other expression?

Captured as a source for your invention
I am helpless game of your play
Existing in frailty
Guards against such display...

Perseverance

The seas I transit, under sail.
Highways and byways I journey.
Calm or direct, may not always be.
Every step, every mile I am tested.

Whether pursued, by dark n’ wild gale,
or striding, twisted, treacherous path.
Times I feel as quarry hunted,
seeking the solace, of any safe haven.

To conquer agonizing strife, by victory.
Laughing loud, in the face of tempest.
Thwarting failure, no quarter given.
Toppling defiant adversity, my tenacity intensified.

Compensation, for determined perseverance.
Light seas, with following breeze,
roadway void, of confrontation.
Radiant light to reveal, disguised pitfall.

Corn On The Cob

I come from the land of locusts.
Periodically, on rare occasions,
back when there was no concern
over climate changes

and the Sirocco blew over Casablanca
the skies turned somberly gloomy.
The feast after their landing was pan-fried.
Locusts with cumin spices. Cruncheeeeee!

In fact there is compensation
Nature has a way to substitute a simile
For an allegory or the real thing.
We just have to learn to swallow it.

OK, you wait for an intelligent comment
& the one thing I remark
about the locust aftermath is that there's
no corn in sight any longer.

What My Mom Left Me (Novelinee)

Sometimes memories of my Mom and me
an aging daughter's stories of delight
my children often hear quite randomly,
her love for art that bless with hand and sight.
She taught me skills and crafts I now pass on
her lessons to the next generations,
wise use of time for things that can be done
with hobbies, joy is the compensation,
in times of need, the handy solution.

My Mom loved to sew and make home decors from scrap cloth and ribbons - a hobby we learned as children. I set up a home business with my daughters making these things and this wall decor is one of our products.

Novelinee - 9 lines in 10 syllables, with ab/ab/cd/cd/d rhyme scheme.

A chair meant to share.

In that mischievous room,
stand a chair meant to share.
Who 's would have said?
My endless days, on her soft contact,
pleasant the skin of mine

I recognized her from a dream that I had.
That girl at my dream door steps.
She looks at me, and says let's share.
Then I wake up next to her

Time pass since forever.
Two different persons, destiny coupled.
She drank me; with her strong soul, she makes me whole,
in my mind, in my heart.

And now we have a child, compensation that fills,
our love and makes it strong.
Mildness of caress, whispering in my heart.

No One

Hungry coral hearts lap the night
Recluse as a conch shell of dawn
Surrender to the crying tide
Moon as angry as patience
You never leave your self
Everything neatly packaged
The closed soul knows possession
Dry places they wonder
Your eyes have no Venus
Opulence is an excuse
Maybe suffering is better than valentines
Lust a New Orleans mask
Penetration into the viagra dream
Beauty is never control
Validation is never the circus
Compensation has no eternal gold
We hardly move
Clock hands tremble like cages
Anniversary of slow shadows
No one walks the halls

Annuitant

Oh I am neither rich nor poor,
No worker I dispoil;
Yet I am glad to be secure
From servitude and toil.
For with my lifelong savings I
Have bought annuity;
And so unto the day I die
I'll have my toast and tea.

When on the hob the kettle sings
I'll make an amber brew,
And crunch my toast and think of things
I do not have to do.
In dressing-gown and deep arm-chair
I'll give the fire a poke;
Then worlds away from cark and care
I'll smoke and smoke and smoke.

For I believe the very best
Of Being is the last;
