Quotes about aircrafts, page 30
Sometimes....
sometimes, when i look at the world
through one narrow window
of the airplane,
i shrink about the idea of jumping
off again
(which i once tried when i was too confused
to take another day
of life, during one of those lousy college days,
when life seems to be too
saggy, like a carpet losing hold of
its thick threads,
sometimes, one has to look at the clouds
thick, white, cottons, up there
to know that, well, there is nothing certain
about everything
up there
or down here
there will always be

Amelia
I was driving across the burning desert
When I spotted six jet planes
Leaving six white vapor trails across the bleak terrain
It was the hexagram of the heavens
It was the strings of my guitar
Amelia, it was just a false alarm
The drone of flying engines
Is a song so wild and blue
It scrambles time and seasons if it gets thru to you
Then your life becomes a travelogue
Of picture-post-card-charms
Amelia, it was just a false alarm
People will tell you where theyve gone
Theyll tell you where to go
But till you get there yourself you never really know
Where some have found their paradise
Others just come to harm
Oh amelia, it was just a false alarm
I wish that he was here tonight
Its so hard to obey

how do these esteemed leaders leading a United Nations
not know their attacks give satisfy glorify ego Gaddafi
an entire world the entire might of collective United Nations
can invade Libya but cannot defeat propaganda dictator Gaddafi
operation “Odyssey Dawn” is an ill chosen crafty hero’s name

‘Aywa’; Oh Yes: Iowa
On the Green Silky Carpet,
Bride of all brides,
Walk slowly and Proudly,
On the Green Carpet,
In a low voice,
I heard myself singing,
With trembling lips,
I was singing calmly,
After a year of continuous crying,
But I am no body's bride,
And I intend not to be so;
My bridegroom was pushed to go;
To leave this life a year ago,
To leave me dreaming
To continue the journey;
The road
All alone,
Just a week before our union
Could have taken place,
And I exclaimed:

An Everlasting Kiss...
In a room filled with strangers we dance,
A melodious drone dictates the movement of those around us,
Motionless we stand as we stare into one another,
The attraction we feel hypnotising us to all around,
Time stands still, the musical beat fades to obscurity,
Your head leans foreward as mine is tilted toward you,
No words required as our lips collide to encapsulate our emotions,
In this moment we become one in an everlasting kiss....
Spread the love... The peace will follow..

Sonnet: God is Kinder to Man
A wild tree grows amongst the broken stones
And rocky land: I wonder how at all?
Its greenish fruits make nests for ants and drones;
With natural glue, they weave it like a wall.
With time, they bend and twist the flattened fruits;
A cozy nest gets made that lasts for long;
And when it dries, switch on to newer shoots;
They guard their larvae with a marching song.
Though God grows trees for ants/bees to make nests,
Yet, man fears God may not him well provide;
But human beings are God’s heavenly guests;
And God is our Master, Friend and our Guide.
What love exits the heart that made us all!
And longs to take us back ev’r since our fall.

No turning point
Up ahead I see
the sky and sea
on the horizon
becoming one.
The blue into blue
fading into each other
and you and I
are looking
from the window
of a airplane
as if we can fly.
Roads turn, twist
and cross
and run in all directions
and nowhere
I can find
a turning point
that brings us

The Cry Of A Lonely Heart!
she is waiting for him,
Behind the door,
With pounding heart.
He has gone,
Without going.
He has whispered,
Without whispering.
He has tortured,
Without torturing.
She is crying,
Without cursing,
Without blinking,
Without sleeping.
He has gone,
Without going,
Staying at her heart.
He has whispered,
without whispering,

On The Porch
As I lie roofed in, screened in,
From the pattering rain,
The summer rain—
As I lie
Snug and dry,
And hear the birds complain:
Oh, billow on billow,
Oh, roar on roar,
Over me wash
The seas of war.
Over me—down—down—
Lunges and plunges
The huge gun with its one blind eye,
The armored train,
And, swooping out of the sky,
The aeroplane.
Down—down—
The army proudly swinging
Under gay flags,

Ding-a-ling! Dingdong Bell! Singalong, 'Loner is a Mourner'!
All alone, aside, aground, bays an empty soul - nameless,
Afloat, adrift, awash, says an empty ghoul - shameless!
In thoughts - I am lost, tattles an empty vessel - aimless,
I am with me yet all alone, rattles an empty skull - rudderless!
Alone I cried again and again chanting a sullen rhyme -
Ding-a-ling! Dingdong bell! Singalong, 'Loner is a Mourner'!
I talk, I walk yet I lack hope lying in the corner;
Alone in woe: I'm a clumsy, discombobulated flesh;
See! I'm trying to fill a flimsy, distorted mesh;
Lo! I do the donkeywork at a place, yet a sojourner!
Alone I cried again and again chanting a sullen rhyme -
Ding-a-ling! Dingdong bell! Singalong, 'Loner is a Mourner'!
Alone I flew in ruefulness, I, a Ruta graveolens!
I woke and find my soul loitering in woods - dense,
I'm a glider without destination yet a hogwash and trumpery!
I'm a writer with no imagination, yet a nonsense gimcrackery,
Alone I cried again and again chanting a sullen rhyme -
Ding-a-ling! Dingdong bell! Singalong, 'Loner is a Mourner'!

High Flyer
They were 'Proctors' and 'Jackaroos' in those days.
Single wing aeroplanes,
two and four seaters,
either open engines, or open under your seat.
Exciting for a seventeen year old.
I went up with the commercial pilots,
logging up their flying hours.
Take off! Climb! Spin on one wing!
Roll! - 'keep looking forward! ',
Stall! - That was the most terrifying thing of all,
not knowing whether the engine would start firing up again.
There were no parachutes, of course.
Flying along the south coast of England,
around the Isle of Wight,
looking down on a 'patchwork' of fields, farms,
towns and villages,

Via Evolution
Cisterns of Assyrian winds
Sub space the endorphins revel
Sorrow like every haunting war
Hidden in wards without limbs
Brain damage, political will
Let the drones fight the next war
Water your exotic imagination
No armies with special missions
Causes skewed, face-lifts gone wild
Run for islands of Ithaca
The monsters trounce the land
Warlocks of industry
Genetically engineered spiders
Webs of crossed species
Let’s live forever they say
You want science fiction your in it
The Frankenstein haven
Some hail the new frontier
The man gods create hell
Science, technology without ethics

It's all elemental
When the Candy Girl and the Electric Youth meet
The digger is going up and going down
Rising up and rising down
Candy stores are heaven for the kids
Rick and Jennifer hold hands as they walk on by
During the day and the sunshine
The songs of Midnight Oil play on
And it becomes apparent when the full moon comes along
The songs of The Clash play on and on
The gardener tells his visitors of what he hopes for the future
I'm still having recurring dreams
The kids love their yo-yo's
Flinging and swinging them around in every direction
On a hill
The Candy Girl and the Electric Youth sit side by side
As airplanes pass by over them

In Vermilion Accolades
If the night is freckled with ixora, then I will make a wish,
While the children are like kites waiting in their doorsteps of sky
For their fathers who come flying in,
Hoofed and in chariots of airplanes; and I have been down so long:
I have cut my fingers to feed the minnows in the canal,
While their homeopathic silver ness has gone on to feed even
Bigger things:
And it is nice to lie here in the fat oxygen in a house painted with the
Soft colors of a seashell
And do things for Alma, even while new souls are getting ready to
Graduate again from high school-
To get up and stretch their legs and go a little further down their
Ways,
While the emerald waters rush in vermilion accolades.

Jet Planes
I saw my little cousin today:
I see them almost everywhere, at the movies,
Waiting at home in front of the television,
But I cannot hardly recognize them
They’ve grown like weeds is the aphorism,
And they’ve removed their pea green houses,
And their unicorns aren’t for real,
But lonely in their front yards with the tenebrous
Blue weeds:
You know, I see them on the swing-set and I want
To join them, but I am too old
For the sports of Christmas trees and young
Jet planes.

Powerful Lady
She was born with no spoon
She walked barefooted as a nymph
She bathed naturally at riverside
Sat under the umbrella tree
Savouring tales by moonlight
She waved to aeroplane ceaselessly
Travelling along the village airspace
Hoping one day she flies
Dreams do come true
Nymph do metamorphorse to adult
Now she dwells in the palaces
Now she dines with princes
Now she dances with queens
Now she is tendered by maids
And accompanied by retinue of guards
Youths rever her
Elders bow down before her
She is a powerful lady

I Once Wrote About The Bees And The Beehive
on the web, i see you got pregnant
of this brainchild of yours, the beehive,
a project from your heart,
at the center is the child,
instead of the queen bee,
and surrounding still are the
workers, the drones, the soldiers
instead of your lovers,
and you ask for my support
(perhaps some money
but i know they are not that necessary)
you may hint on the songs
about children
my friends shall send you
you may ask for me to read
my poems
over some bottles of beer
or some tea,
there is no problem, honey,
i will be there buzzing around

Brahma Fear
Brahma fear
By: jimmy buffett
1974
Id like to ride the rodeo
But Ive got brahma fear
So Ill just stick to aeroplanes
Gently pop my ears
Drank a lot a whiskey
It gives me such a glow
It makes me quite immobile
But it lets my feelins show
And Im somewhere below the spotlight
Somewhere below the ground
You dig deep enough you might find me
Find me and youve found my sound
Yes I own a whaler boat
It slides across the sea
And some folks say Im part of it
And I know, its part of me
And when Im feelin solitaire

Insecurity's Chant
It's not possible; things are tough.
I'm not able, not good enough.
My weight's not right and shape's a fright.
Each who passes scorns my sight.
There's no time; the risk's too great.
I've missed my chance. It's now too late.
I'm so young and the world's too cold.
Things pass fast; now I'm just old.
On and on drones this grim chant.
But to those who don't know they can't...
Things are tough so I'll work smart.
When others stop, that's when I'll start.
That's what I want so here I go.
It's not my age, but what I know.
I'm good and sure of what I've got.
Forget the world that says I'm not.
The famous glass that needs its fill,

In The Beating Shade
Saying the séance to the séance
Says with all of the will of a marionette
Propped as a doll
Against the sea—she will come and she
Will lull,
And the moon will pull her up against
The sky scrapers for a better view—
If it is his wish—
A silver knight will see her there—
A silver fish in a silver dish—
And the airplanes spinning around her,
Silver-winged mobile in the swelter
Of the paraffin sun—
And she will slink and pray and hold her
Head between her hands
And think about all of the time that
She lost-
Or she will yawn, and there will be no more
Time for the narcolepsies of such pretty things:
And she will cast off all of her beauties
