Midnight Train
The Midnight Train to nowhere is boarding-
My life-long luggage has already been brought on-
The tracks of non-mobility are ready and waiting-
To sings its droning railroad song;
Its quite catchy to the ears they tell me-
As the trains roars itself in place upon the tracks-
Bidding my final farewells to everyone-
Turning my head-with plans to never look back;
They say that this train will get you nowhere-
And you know i believe this to be true-
Non-riding the tracks-ignoring the facts-
I'm on my way back home to you;
You are at the end of my nowhere-
Been there for so very long-
Just biding your time with your prose and rhyme-
While i write this here Railroad Song;

Sleeping Gas *not done
green gas spawns from idols of greed and lust
its moves like a growing weed as the world begins to rust
leaves fall, dying corpses
as flesh booms from iron horses

Last Of The Steam-powered Trains
Like the last of the good ol puffer trains,
Im the last of the blood and sweat brigade,
And I dont know where Im going, or why I came.
Im the last of the good old fashioned steam-powered trains.
Im the last of the good old renegades.
All my friends are all middle class and grey,
But I live in a museum, so Im okay.
Im the last of the good old fashioned steam-powered trains.
Like the last of the good ol choo-choo trains,
Huff and puff till I blow this world away,
And Im gonna keep on rollin till my dying day.
Im the last of the good old fashioned steam-powered trains.
Like the last of the good ol puffer trains,
Im the last of the soot and scum[? ] brigade,
And all this peaceful living is drivin me insane.
Im the last of the good old fashioned steam-powered trains.
Im the last of the good old fashioned steam-powered trains.

If He Were Alive Today, Mayhap, Mr. Morgan Would Sit on the Midget's Lap
"Beep-beep.
BANKERS TRUST AUTOMOBILE LOAN
You'll find a banker at Bankers Trust"
Advertisement in N.Y. Times
When comes my second childhood,
As to all men it must,
I want to be a banker
Like the banker at Bankers Trust.
I wouldn't ask to be president
Or even assistant veep,
I'd only ask for a kiddie car
And permission to go beep-beep.
The banker at Chase Manhattan,
He bids a polite Good-day;
The banker at Immigrant Savings
Cries Scusi! and Olé!
But I'd be a sleek Ferrari
Or perhaps a joggly jeep,

Sweet Lorraine
(mitchell parish, cliff burwell)
Just found joy
I'm as happy as a baby boy, baby boy
With another brand new choo-choo choy
When i met my sweet lorraine, lorraine, lorraine.
A pair of eyes
That are brighter tham the summer sky
When you see them, you'll realize
Why i love my sweet lorraine.
Now when it's rainin',
I don't miss the sun
Because it's in my baby's smile, whoa ho
And to think that i'm the lucky one
That will lead her down the aisle, whoa ho ho
Each night i pray
That no one will steal her heart away
I can't wait until that lucky day
When i marry sweet lorraine.
~interlude~
Now when it's rainin'

Woman with Train
She rides her bike
Along the railway
Crossing the tracks
Where the long trail ends.
Her gray hair shines:
A flying silver kite
Over clover fields of August.
And at night
When crickets sing
The praises of star light
And pale shadows bath
In the dense void of darkness
She dreams
Of pink-skinned breast-fed babies
Of white butterflies
Or red grapes and rye bread
With black olives.
And as she sleeps

Freight Train
Well I just came down from Chippewa
I had a station wagon and a hundred dollars
I was thinkin' about the girl I'd lost a year before
I hadn't seen her for some time
I thought that I might go on by
When your memory came floodin' in
And you closed that door
[CHORUS:]
Wish I was a freight train baby
Wish I was a diesel locomotive
I'd come whistlin' down your track
Crashin' in your door
Wish I was a freight train baby
Wish I didn't have a heart
And you'd need a shovel for the coal
Just to get me started
Wish I was a freight train baby
Wish I was a freight train

Monday
Choo-choo Charlie had a plenty good band, but he couldn't understand why
no one would go
A world record players on a tour of Japan, Charlie fixin' his van with
the left arm tan
He said,
It's Monday, I'm all high, get me out of FLA
In school, yeah, I fooled ya, now I know I made a mistake
Blister on a turnpike, let me by, I only wanna wonder why when I don't
die
Ewww, I shot ya, yeah, I know, I only wanna go where my wheels roll
Monday, I'm all high, get me out of FLA
I fooled ya, in school yeah, now I know I made a mistake
Everybody's wonderin', "where he'd go?" He must be down in Pensecola
hidin' from the snow
The world record players on a tour of Japan, Charlie's fixin' his van,
he's waitin' for a postcard
And he said
Monday, I'm all high, get me out of TLA
Well, I cut class, in school yeah, now I know I made a mistake
I made a big mistake

The Covered Bridge
The covered bridge above a stream
in hues of weathered colour cream,
who's planks once bowed from wheel and hoof -
her carriages now seem aloof,
and paint curls back off every beam.
Traversed by oxen as a team
the wear and tear had been extreme.
Several bids were made to proof
the covered bridge,
but they were few and far between.
Now years gone by, they cross by steam.
Expelling out her grey-white poof,
the churning locomotive's woof,
her trav'lers 'member naught, but dream
the covered bridge.

It came to pass
All day we stayed gushing tears
but little came, which we managed to bear
but we were still in fear
cause like th first, the second might disapear
Not so long my prediction arrived.
This time breathing was to be considerd before surviving,
then i knew the pranks of joy and life
Joy i should blame for never stagnant but locomotive like fashion
thus from manshion to manshion.
here and there are pened heart for its accumulation
for the escape of ineluctable tribulation.
From my, i knew must face joy's tradition

Rich Vs Poor
If you think the rich will ever give a damn about the poor,
You're asleep on the tracks and don't hear that locomotive roar.
They own the train rushing your way as you sleep on their tracks.
You dream of a play world as they steal your neighborhood shacks.
Politicians who should represent you are at their beck and call.
It's about money plus power and your needs or rights not at all.
In this uncertain country one thing is certain. They'll never relent...
The rich won't be satisfied until they have their greedy 100%!

My old drunkard companion
Once a war veteran, who goes
with an old haversack which carry the belongings
hanging on his shoulder.
On his way towards the pedestrian crossing
stands at a bus stop a long time
and waiting for the train called 'Desire'.
Which is scheduled via the Cancer Reservation.
He lit a cheap cigarette, pulled a big puff to bottom of his lungs
and talking to himself.
'It seems to be an exile.'
Sounds of the locomotive echoes as ' passengers get ready please,
those who want to disembark at the station of farewell to the existence'.

Im Your Superman
Na na na na na. . .
Im your superman
Oh yes I am!
I may not be as fast as a shot from a gun
And stoppin locomotives aint my idea of fun
And I dont have the magic to fly through the air
I can feel it when you are there
And when youre near me Im like someone new
I even feel real bulletproof too
Na na na na na. . .
Im your superman
Oh yes I am!
I am not super strong I have no super sight
Im not afraid of being in kryptonite
And I dont have the magic to fly through the air
I can feel it when you are there
And when youre near me Im like someone new
I even feel real bulletproof too
Na na na na na. . .
Im your superman

The Journey
With the suddenness of a locomotive
that has come to an abrupt halt,
he fell motionless and in a coffin lay.
like -
All mystery sealed in a jar,
All agony compressed
in a tremulous whimper,
All charms shut in an amulet
amid,
the scent of burning incense,
frozen silence,
heaving hearts
and
silent prayers,
While the chariot wheeled him along

My Name Is Jonas
My name is jonas!
Im carrying the wheel.
Thanks for all youve shown us.
But this is how we feel.
Come sit next to me, pour yourself some tea.
Just like grandma made, when we couldnt find sleep.
Things were better then.
Once but never again.
Weve all left the den, let me tell you bout it.
The choo-choo train left right on time.
A ticket cost only your mind.
The driver said hey man, we go all the way.
Of course we were willing to pay!
My name is wepeel !
Got a box full of your toys.
Theyre fresh out of batteries.
But youre still making noise! making noise!
Tell me what to do,
Now the tank is dry, now this wheel is flat, and you know what else!
Guess what I received in the mail today,

A Railroad Town
The diesel locomotive wailed
Like a sick bull as it approached
The intersection; five bellows.
The dreaded traffic light turned red
And all of us just sat waiting
For this snail-like, slow-moving
Freight train to pass, while the traffic
was backing up to infinity.
Life becomes a standstill in time:
If your appendix burst, pray to god;
If you're in labor, tough titty;
If late for work, you curse and swear!
So you wait and count the freight cars...
One hundred one…one hundred two…
Onward west they roll
Swaying, screeching, click-clanking
Along rusty tracks.

Last sounds I hope to hear
Distant call of blue-jays
Deep rumble of a Harley Twin
Children’s laughter
Bagpipes skirling, “Amazing Grace”
Crackle of summer lightning
Popcorn popping
Someone calling my name
A Dobro and a blues harmonica
Whistle of a steam locomotive
Whip-poor-wills
A calliope
The chuckle of a brook
The quiet of a happy house
Applause
Thank you
Looks really good, doesn’t he”
“Guess we’ll never find the money”
Bees buzzing, making honey
The very last thing

Return Journey
Desire gets burnt into ashes
In an internal combustion
Of a blunt-faced
Suburban locomotive,
Screeching on the rails
To the oily doorsteps
Of the city brothel.
Intermittent giggles
Of a bunch of naked innocence
Emanate from the dense slums
Along the tracks
And slimy animals bask on the furrow
Of the black mud
In indolent sexuality.
In broad day-light
The popular woman of the city,
In her cosmetic cell,
Pines for the scent

Fun Run For Progress
They run, moving forward,
as gazelles, jumping over mountains,
past oceans of agriculture, near lakes
of suburban shacks, temporary Roman villas
that can vanish in smoke,
a badly positioned fart on eyes
deaf and beyond description,
running, steam locomotives, lost
in the provincial sunrise, hostage,
those ignorant fidelities in hill camps, embers
of an infantile disease, covered,
dressed in bourgeois Teflon coatings,
unchanged within, nihilistic newly colored rose,
undeniably native, a steamship in two decks,
decades ago, still not throwing its anchors,
flying over graveyards, subdivisions,
with their customary chapels, without
the cemented crucifixes, engines running
methamphetamine photo galleries,
snapshots, advanced artificial intelligence,

Pot Kettle Black
Crazy rides rockets
Who has a magic wand
Empty out your pockets
Words without a song
I myself have found a real rival in myself
I am hoping for a re-arrival of my health
Sleeping eye sockets
Baby suck your thumb
Ill keep you in my locket
A string I never strum
Its become so obvious
You are so oblivious to yourself
Youre tied in a knot
But Im not gonna get caught
Calling a pot kettle black
Every songs a comeback
Every moments a little bit later
Lazy locomotives
Wherever you may roll
I think you have no motive
