Early morning-Florence

the angel raised his head
sucked in rain
and framed in an archway unfurled his wings
shattered morning with his cries
and light from his eyes
burned deep into stone souls
wakened the dead
on walls
in tombs and wombs in catacombs
and the rooms of smart hotels

then hanging from an umbrella
came billowing down the street
a lady from Nebraska

Paris, the city of gaiety

Eros

Liberate Atlas and give his triceps a break
He's done enough squats with the continents as weight

Let Sisyphus rest after carrying the stone
Charge him pro bono and let all his crimes be atoned

Give Echo surgery so she can say hello
Instead of always speaking as a repetitive cello

Absolve Prometheus as supper for the vultures
Men should never wrought with the knowledge they aspire

But, it was too late;

Johnny

Johnny left Britain running
He must have seen trouble coming
He retired to Greece
Had a few good years, pushed the boat out and searched for the golden fleece
He enjoyed those years which were good
No rowdyness or violence
Good food and evening s of silence

Until There Is Nothing Left

Before the 'shock and awe'
There were trinkets tossed
To send them shopping.
That 'stimulated' them,

Iceland’s President Olafur R. Grimsson said his country is better off than Ireland thanks to the government’s decision to allow the banks to fail two years ago and because the krona could be devalued.
“The difference is that in Iceland we allowed the banks to fail, ” Grimsson said in an interview with Bloomberg Television’s Mark Barton today. “These were private banks and we didn’t pump money into them in order to keep them going; the state did not shoulder the responsibility of the failed private banks.”
Ireland’s Prime Minister Brian Cowen said this week his government has discussed an 85 billion-euro ($112 billion) bailout with the European Union and International Monetary Fund after the country’s banks threatened to bring the euro member to the brink of bankruptcy. Iceland’s banks, which still owe creditors about $85 billion, were split to create domestic units needed to keep the financial system running, while foreign liabilities remained within the failed lenders.
As a consequence, “Iceland is faring much better than anybody expected, ” Grimsson said. The Icelandic state’s liability on foreign depositor claims stemming from Icesave accounts at failed Landsbanki Islands hf should be put to a national referendum, he said.
“How far can we ask ordinary people - farmers and fishermen and teachers and doctors and nurses - to shoulder the responsibility of failed private banks, ” said Grimsson. “That question, which has been at the core of the Icesave issue, will now be the burning issue in many European countries.”

The vagabond that holds a World Citizen Passport?

He's informed by the Euro Lottery Board for winning the biggest prize.
And until it comes he has taken a loan from a bank.
As he wants to visit Sri Lanka.
He visited the ancient rock Sigiriya.
A woman in the frescoes with garlands of flowers
Fall in love with him.
He promised to take her to some landmarks of the World.

She's surprised by seeing Taj Mahal and thought of Shah Jahan & Mumtaz Mahal
If they too are like them?
Then they have been to Angkor Wat in Cambodia
And luckily Polpot was not there.
Opera house in Australia and they talked to some native Aborigines.
Pyramids of Giza in Egypt among the rebels.
O Parthenon in Greece where the civilization begun.
They watched the bell ringing in St.Basil's Cathedral, Russia.
In Tanzania marvelous mountain Kilmanjaro
And they climbed the Eifel Tower with a French tour guide.
Stonehenge in England joined the colonial friends
And the mountain top Cristo Redentor the statue of Jesus Christ in Brazil.

Flying Leaf

Flying leaf.

Tuesday I´ve looked in my kill list, but couldn´t find
anyone to drone today, yet had time for the betting
shop and won ten euros on a horse called Abdulla.
In my trunks only, I went for a scooter drive; country
lane a woman came out of her dwelling and crossed
herself, yes I look like an overcooked vanilla pudding;
but no need of her to throw pebbles and set her
poodles on me. Why do I end up in the wrong places?
Once was waiting for a bus taking me to Garston and
it was raining; I have forgotten what I was doing there,
I remember a black woman who gave me a sunshine
smile and rain stopped. Still Tuesday and I have no
assassination list ready only memories of a life where
I was torn from the mother oak, drifting in the wind

Art'life

At the Oslo art museum we went to see Edvard Munck’s
“The Scream.” Yeah I know that feeling.
I bought a print it cost about twenty Euros, it now hangs
on the wall in front of me and it screams for me.
But his painting “The Kiss” absorbed me the most, it
is one of the greatest sensual, painting I have ever seen.
There were many other paintings of great masters, but
I didn’t see them as “the kiss” blurred my sight.
There was a reverent whispering in the room, I didn’t
cared for, like being in a church where even a cough is
frown upon. When my wife went to the loo I told a female
security guard she looked like the woman in the “kiss.”
Her stern, blue eyes softened, she giggled and said:
“But you can’t see the woman’s face in the painting.” No dear,
but if I could it would be a face as beautiful as yours.”
More guards came and I was escorted out of the building.

Current Currency

Dollars, euros, yen:
they’re all just pretty pieces of rags,
cotton, linen, and silk,
a bit of Crane paper, so we’re told.

Those currencies that no longer
predicate their value on precious metals,
gold or silver, for example,
have no more intrinsic worth than
fancy rags made of shirt fabrics.

Paper money is then much like
a wedding song “O, Promise Me”
performed over and over and over
until becoming superfluous.
Then the wedding guests long
for something more enduring
like Bach, Chopin, or Mendelssohn
(gold, silver, or real estate)
with no promises attached.

It can be a christmas gift, to buy an iPod
You must understand that money is bad

These radio talkshow 'waveheads'
Do the best they can to stir up controvesy
To command attention.
I would and could mention a few names.
But why should I?
Add more fuel to satisfy a ratings rise!
Some are very popular,
With divisions on their minds.
Liberal, conservative leechers...
Setting their aims on personalities to creep.
Calling themselves the voice of the people.
And yet there is a mindset they inflame,
With purposes to defame...
To keep themselves about the sludge,
They daily help to keep shallow!
And all have dipped or swimmed in Reaganomics.
One of the reasons most of them are drowning today.
Clearing the way for the Euro.

A friend that's insane
who gives me migraine
