Quotes about autumn, page 3
The Season of Change
Autumn winds gently in,
washing away Summer's sin...
Autumn winds blow free,
chasing colored leaves from every tree...
Autumn winds chill,
frosting through every valley and hill...
Autumn winds passed,
waiting for Winter's snowy blast.

Season of Mists
I thank you for your view of a view of autumn, Keats
who never saw your own autumn with its actual pitfalls.
Yours was the autumn of childhood, of hope, or romance, of belief,
my mother's autumn though not that of her hardworking family,
yours was never my father's autumn, season of mists,
and yours is not mine. My autumn
for all I would like to subscribe to your lavish play,
is like yours only in single ways each year,
perhaps there are swallows making a din,
or plums and apples falling wasp-eaten, unharvestable.
There is no sickle in my vocabulary or shed,
my autumn is based more on dread of the winter
and having had so little time each summer
to tidy or attend to the garden. Last year
early snow fell on flower baskets ditched from the street
and remained both snow and baskets until the spring
leaving me two seasons behind, without strategy
for a fast approaching repeat autumn, little wonder
and no chance to make anything faintly rhyme,
such is our modern poetry and life

Autumn Wind
Autumn wind carry me away
To a loving place in which to stay
Where the sun shines above the bay
With kind words in which to say
Where love will flourish every day
Just hold me close
In my world you mean the most
Like the sun rising over the coast
Sitting by the fire pit
Marshmallows on a stick to roast
Champagne for us to toast
Autumn wind carry me away
To a place far away
Where the passion comes to stay
Where the winds of romance blows this way
With a love that lasts all day
Autumn wind carry me away

Tomorrow Comes
Tomorrow comes
Don't you worry
Spring again blooms
Don't be in a hurry
You are young once
Like spring days
Give life a chance
And its many ways
Tomorrow comes
Like night after a day
Summer and autumns
Do I more daresay
Longings are in the breeze
That follows the air around
Around the summer trees
And everywhere else it's found
Tomorrow comes
It's in its destiny

Forest Bedroom
Secure in your heated arms...
Protected from Falls plantiff chill...
Aglow in the pleasure of your face--
Flushed as the burnished leaves upon Autumns hill;
Our bed is of russet and gold--
Natures humble crinkled spread---
Encompassed by semi-balding trees...
Autumns euphoria fills my head;
The winds brisk as in this bliss i feel with you...
The colours of our love-bonfire glow...
Safe and ecstatic in Falls loving embrace...
Two hearts beat dancing-in sweet love-they grow;

I Have Seen Autumn
I have never felt the chill of winter
Nor the birth of spring
Only the two faces of Nature
The golden sun shining
Or the heavens openly weeping.
But I have seen autumn
As I looked at her
No cold winter in her smile
A promise of summer in her eyes
Her hair of autumn leaves.
I have never felt autumn
But I have seen it
It’s the canvass of Rembrandt
Dark, red, crimson, gold
But I have never felt it.
Is the autumn breeze damp and soft like her lips?
Is the autumn sky naked and warm like her skin?

I fall for you Autumn
I fall for you Autumn
from the red in your hair
to the cool breeze in your kisses.
I fall for you Autumn
from your ever changing moods.
To the way you harvest my love.
Autumn loving you is
like a feast of thanks.
I thank you for your touch
I thank you for your understanding.
Autumn you are the changing
season of my heart.
From sadness to joy.
And when it comes to loving someone;
I fall for you Autumn.

To meet with love
Look on me and give your hand
We can to go along the street
This time to dreams, my autumn friend,
Let our love call us to meet.
Here hear we now the song of bird
And golden sunset blinds our eyes
Wondrous love without regret
We can to fly to autumn skyes.
I will believe that winter's ice
Don't can to touch our fragile hearts
The autumn gold it's higher price
So step by step, from paths to paths.
We go through ligt our autumn days
I see your look and hold your hand,
To meet with love on famous place
Here always autumn, without the end. 28/09/2009

The Cordell
She stands alone,
In the autumn rain.
Watching her life walk away.
The soft thud of,
Slowly disappearing dreams,
On the street.
Dreams muffled,
By the autumn rain.
Slowly fading in the twilight.
He won't look back,
There is something in his eye.
The autumn rain.
A voice deep down says,
Turn around you fool.
As the autumn rain falls.

I owe you all
It was my autumn that I met you.
It was your spring when you met me.
Love sparked; my autumn turned spring.
You didn’t turn autumn. I owe you all.

Autumn Is Brown!
The colour of Autumn is brown
Like the leaves of Spring are crown!
The colour of Winter is white
Like the Summer heat at its height!
Falling dry leaves are symbol of Autumn
After flowers of Spring with bees hum!
Autumn is the symbol of wisdom ever
After rich growth of fruits in Spring sure!
Rain in Autumn is joyful as in heaven
Just as for the birds trees are haven!
Autumn ever denotes mental maturity
Just as fully grown flowers of beauty!

Word Of Autumn.
The colder wind today brought word of change.
With Autumn on its way soft blossoms shrink.
Berries dropp their plump hued heads in phases,
And shorter days pull Autumn to its brink.
The sun sheds less its brightness in full streams.
Pine trees sigh, branching closer to the ground.
Early morning grass recalls frosty dreams.
Autumn hunkers closer with autumn sounds.
Light hearth's cosy warmth, pull covers higher.
One of Autumn's blessings is a blazing fire.

The Autumn Months Splendor
The Autumn Months Melody
The hot summer days are gone and rolled by
The cool autumn months have once again arrived
The autumn majestic spirit permeates the land
It is another new day of autumn
The far sun above the horizon sends its rays and gentle warmth
on the valleys, mountains and hamlets
Nature has dressed in beautiful colors
The jolly trees are painted with red, yellow and brown
The autumn trees adorn the valleys and mountains that hug the skies
It is a portrait of panoramic dazzle
The brisk wind blows over the meadows
The cool wind sweeps the plains and fields
The tall trees dance and bow gently in grace
The tree branches hiss, swing and sway
The shivering leaves quiver with the wind
The green pastures are dotted with a mosaic
of dried brownish scattered leaves
Joining autumn happy symphony
The singing joyous birds, the playful beavers

In This Autumn Of The Year
In this Autumn of the year there be image
Pictorial earthtone's.....the artist's nirvana
Flecks of shades....bleed into each spray
Summer's closure.....sets on the causway
In this Autumn of the year there be breeze
Whisps feather past red cheeks 'n lobes
In contrast to the gusts.....of Winter's sting
Autumn flails its limbs...like colored wings
In this Autumn of the year, there be rainfall
A subtle, chilling mist.....that feeds the soil
Preparing, for the fast confronting Harvest
Showerings fall like angel-hair........tingling
In this Autumn of the year..... there be spice
A vast potpouri.....of kaleidoscopic majesty
Herbs 'n hickory smoke, from chimney tops
Country fairs and downtown sidewalk stops

Autumn In New York
[Ella]
Autumn in New York
Why does it seem so inviting
Autumn in New York
It spells the thrill of first-nighting
glittering crowds and shimmering clouds
In canyons of steel
They're making me feel - I'm home
It's autumn in New York
That brings the promise of new love
Autumn in New York
Is often mingled with pain
Dreamers with empty hands
They sigh for exotic lands
It's autumn in New York
It's good to live it again

Autumns Golden Wreath...
On dusty fields of umber
Ther' be no trail nor trace of Summer
Octobers breath unfolds
A wreath of Autumn, solid gold
Smoked shadow, naked branch
Leaves like ticker-tape in dance
Trees stripped of their potpouri
Of majesty, an artists dream
Of a many hues and tones
The artists inspiration hones
Pictorial skills of imagescape
Depicting Autumn's scent and taste
Of hickory, acorns and rain
Harvests fertile spread of grain
Hallowed be these precious gifts
For soon the winds will shift

Miles away which make me walk,
Probes my inner feelings to talk;
Those peach red leaves ripens for a reason,
For, Autumn I love the fall leaf season.
The winds that blow thoughts in mind,
Churns and whips my feelings to grind,
Makes deep Poetic Mountain melts from rock frozen,
For, Autumn I love the fall leaf season.
Gives my skin a fleshy blush of supple,
Bliss thy leaves by tall trees of maple,
It’s the mood which liberally slips loosen,
For, Autumn I love the fall leaf season.
The squashy orange vibrant sky of sunset,
Matures my tender thought to a poetic concept,
Composes lines that rises on poetry horizon,
For, Autumn I love the fall leaf season.

Autumn of My Youth
In autumn of my youth
I see my leaves changing
I see my stars waning.
In autumn of my youth I dreamed a dream
And sought what I seemed to be
The meaning of that dream.
In autumn of my youth it was my lot
To hunt the hungry world a spot
And lay my burdens aside
In a vast field of rye so wide
In autumn of my youth it was my place
To wrap the summers in a constant embrace
Plead them not to enter
The Ashen Valley
Where dreams are broken asunder
Below grey skies.
In autumn of my youth
I see the faces of a world that awaits me.
So ghastly black and white,
Where the loss of hope defers the youth
