Duels Between Thieves
Duels between thieves,
Eventually have to happen.
A source to go where thefts are made,
To ensure quality craved maintains its taste...
Does not sustain itself,
When thieves are not focused on originality.
Thieves have none!

Duellum (The Duel)

Sometimes in politics one must duel with skunks, but no one should be fool enough to allow skunks to choose the weapons.

The Poet
Spirits flutter in the air,
Land of words, of dimmed lights.
How he explains, anecdotes, and sensitive rhymes.
With his eyes,
You speak of love and sorrow.
Reality duels of amazement.
From there, that the poet rises.
Sailing the breeze, ADVANCE.

Today I Will Go Once Again
Today I will go once again
Into life, into haggling, into market,
And lead the army of my songs
To duel against the market tide.

Doe Not Then Inscribe
Pean echoed on Hills, dithyrambic,
for duels on stone red wet ground are paired,
Art thy sword and panoply metred Iambic?
Verses reflect no loves in souls, poetic,
Doe not then inscribe your sentiments aired,
Pean echoed on Hills, dithyrambic.
We shall attend a time corybantic
the duel unchains enslaved wrath where'd
Art thy sword and panoply metred Iambic?
Pentameter exports par'syllabic,
Capital thy right is, thorny and flared,
Pean echoed on Hills, dithyrambic.
Sponde of tears onward a wind frantic,
Happiness and sadness deceived or spared,
Art thy sword and panoply metred Iambic?

I chose the most explosive dress I could find. I put a ton of makeup on and some great round earrings. I looked like Jennifer Jones in Duel in the Sun.

Two Pistols
You complain about doing things,
My way.
Although 'your' way...
Is clearly indecisive.
And held up in prolong debate.
When I came upon the scene,
I believed it to be simple...
For all of us to come to the same table,
To iron out our differences.
And agree we've all been elected,
To represent those needs of our constituents.
But most of you are petty.
And outrageously racist!
Yeah...
I said it.
You're a bunch of boneheaded racists.
And...

Unfair Competition
Strategic games of war
In repetition becomes clear
The style does not go very far
And the truth will soon appear.
The way for elimination
Of competition is quite plain
Usher a war destruction
Fix duels of nations again?
That is really an old story
And to victims of war unfair-
We are all evidently sorry:
Pentagon, Pentagon, are you there?

The Zen of Ice Cream
Ice cream joins thinkers, twirls idea seekers
Around dueling dogmas, mythic epics
Dark philosophies, enchanting stories
Cover ivory vanilla towers
Metaphors for discourse strong, dense and sweet
Arguers desire hasty retreats
Scowling to smiling as trials melt away
Nuts suggest curses swept away verses
Tempting chocolate, strawberry compote
Ode to decadence, shameless opulence
Suggested by sprinkled cherry topping
Subversive banter atop frozen cream
Illusive reality never dreams
No suffering while eating frozen cream

The Century is to Trust
To the century is trust of sadism,
Toy the balloon of trust and faith,
Been the beauty, been agnosticism,
A religion has born from a wraith.
To the millennium is madness,
An anxious feeling all-encompassing,
Like the moors to ride and find sadness,
Even in the light of the trespassing.
My days and nights are numbered,
Forever, we wait in duels and afterward.

Burning Hot
Dazed mind vaporized face
The sun here is merciless
Certainly it is a lost duel
Of the weak against the burning fuel
Where any defense is just useless
Thoughts benumbed minds senseless!

4. Elements – Fire
The element of fire
Constructive, destructive
The bright light of fire
The slight of fire
The all consuming fire
Does not exist
In its natural form
Exists by consuming
Another form
It transforms from one
Form to another form
Fuels our passion
Leaves everything ashen
Duels the darkness
Heaves on compassion
Fire, constructively destructive
Fire, destructively constructive

No Matter What
(first verse)
Yeah
Yeah
How did it come to this
After all we been through
Two of a pair now on opposite sides
From the very start with honor we dueled
We watched each other's back
And we battled with pride
We're closer than brothers
Now we're have to fight each other
And we trust our fate
To the heart of the cards
(chorus)
No matter what
Let the game begin
No matter what
May the best man win
No matter what
We're in this together

Your Move
Your move!
It's time to duel and there's no backing down
The heart of the cards is where magic is found
We've played this game before, but never this quite this way
Its like an all out war with monsters that obey
Yu-Gi-Oh!
He's the King of Games
Yu-Gi-Oh!
King of Games
Your move!
Nowhere to turn now the traps have been set
Play that one last surprise, hey it ain't over yet
They've got the upper hand, but that won't last for long
It's time to take a stand and show 'em that youre strong
Yu-Gi-Oh!
He's the King of Games!
Yu-Gi-Oh!
Hey!
Egyptian secrets are revived
Ancient powers have survived

The Duel
Oh many a duel the world has seen
That was bitter with hate, that was red with gore.
But I sing of a duel by far more cruel
Than ever a poet was sung before.
It was waged by night, yea by day and by night,
With never a pause or halt or rest,
And the curious spot where this battle was fought
Was the throbbing heart in a woman’s breast.
There met two rivals in deadly strife,
And they fought for this woman so pale and proud.
One was a man in the prime of his life,
And one was a corpse in a moldy shroud;
One wrapped in a sheet from his head to his feet,
The other one clothed in worldly fashion;
But a rival to dread is a man who is dead,
If he has been loved in life with passion.
The living lover he battled with sighs,
He strove for the woman with words that burned,

Chasing A Memory
I thought i saw you
In the carriage of a train
I ran the platform
It wasn't you.
Yet I carried on in vain
Chasing a memory.
I thought I heard you
Say, 'Kevin i love you'
As I stood
A dreamer in a supermarket queue
I turned around
To misty visions of you.
And my heart still skipped a beat
Chasing a memory
With crippled feet.
I thought I felt
Your softest kiss upon my cheek
I went to hug you
And heard a lost angel speak.
Then I caught your scent

Undiluted rain
Undiluted were the tears she shed,
staring to far, as doves fled in pairs,
dusk descended amid broken affairs,
the silence was dense; my one wed.
It was September, the first of rain,
after the harvest, the maids passed,
with persistence the clouds amassed,
drops falling randomly to our refrain.
So she belonged to mizzle's Autumn,
our glances crossed, curious, well set,
powerful of a coincidence, as we met,
first rain formed an uplifting column.
She wore black, of stored grievance,
all hearths lost kin in freedom's war,
in nineteen hundred ten, and before;
our eyes dueled, she stared askance.
