Quotes about aircrafts, page 16
The pictures of airplanes flying into buildings, fires burning, huge structures collapsing, have filled us with disbelief, terrible sadness and a quiet, unyielding anger. referring to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon

The Needs And Wants Of A 3 Year Old
Mommy, do you have my purple wings?
Your purple wings?
Yes Mommy my purple wings,
I need them.
No my dear,
You don’t have purple wings.
Can you make me purple wings, Mommy?
Sure honey, but why do you need them?
I need my purple wings to fly to the sky,
Cause I want to catch me a helicopter.

Posed To Throw Away Democracy?
we are now entering
another power flux in history
beware American Empire
is posed to throw away democracy?
to advance capitalist elitism
and an absolute ruthless
control of earth's last resources
by a fraction of the world's
super dictator populations
plague mega rich virus
festers in all human races
ethnic imaginative disguises
Roman empire needed legions
armies forts to control its empire
Genghis Khan exterminated
all people in wilderness areas

Your Religion
Never do things of the religion be insane,
Input is the key, the shame of the aeroplane.
Heaven is forcing us to the sun,
Just about your image of the bun,
To eat, to keep, to learn and be stern,
Just like easy work and what is to burn.
We strictly learn, easily and eagerly in the ear,
Like forms of justice, and entering the year.

This Wind
This wind it howls, this wind it moans,
A mournful eerie sound.
This wind gathers fallen autumnal leaves,
Just to dash them to the ground.
This wind makes fools of washing lines,
On its travels throughout the nation.
This wind plays with all the locomotives,
Huddled at St.Pancras railway station.
This wind buffets and shakes the aeroplanes,
As they seek a calmer, foreign sky.
This wind will grow tired soon enough,
Then it will surely die.

Ooh
For jamie and the boys, ready?
One, two.
Ooh, central park,
Ooh, evening skyline,
Ooh, helicopter,
Ooh, firecrackers,
Ooh, july 4th in new york city
Ooh, trees are laughing,
Ooh, windows smiling,
Ooh, water shining,
Ooh, people rolling,
Ooh, july 4th in new york city
I never knew we could be so nice to each other,
I never thought wed be laughing together,
I never knew life could be so sweet and simple,
I never thought that was possible.
Ooh, papers flying,
Ooh, dogs are chasing,
Ooh, clouds are dreaming,
Ooh, people dancing,

The next night I got on an airplane, and flew to New York and looked into acting schools. Four or five acting schools. One of which was the Neighborhood Playhouse, which I started at six months there after.

Out of the Hard Blue
Out of the hard blue it comes
throbbing, powerful, flinging dust and small stones,
as it clears the swaying tops of neighboring redwoods,
and gives the empty, clear, and calm air
substance, color, and turbulence.
We shield our eyes and turn away
from the spinning propellers as the
helicopter floats slowly down
closer and closer to the playground:
ten feet, six, five, one, done;
and lightly resting on gray pavement,
on the hopscotch lines and painted stars and planets,
the roar of its motor drops from banshee scream
to diminished moan, and finally to whisper
as blurred blades slow, and the flight finishes,
and all motion stops.
Then the school children take over, shouting
as they rush, straining against teachers’ restraint,
to see this amazing machine come to visit.

Cigars
Cigars
Smells
So bad
That they are banned
From the airplanne
That people travel in
And I think it is fair
If you want to smoke
The only thing you
Can smoke is
Cigarettes
In the airplane
That people travel in

There is only so much negotiating and maneuvering that can be done while the aircraft is under siege in mid-air. Therefore, the best way to put a stop to hijacking is by having high levels of security implemented by qualified and trained personnel both on the ground and in the air.

Post-Vacation Tristesse
The Jumbo Jet has barely shuddered off
The ground, and I'm depressed. My scuba mask
And fins, my fly rod and beach hat
Crush each other in an overhead locker
Dark as the bedroom closet they're returning to.
Already the week's good times melt
Together like caramels in a hot car.
My vow to "Do this more often!" recedes
With the jade palms and sun-stroked beaches
I can barely see through my scratched window
As the pilot thanks us for "flying
United," and climbs through ectoplasmic
Clouds into the jet stream that circles
Earth's head like a tedious tune,
And like a kick in the rear, hustles us

The pilot looked at his cues of attitude and speed and orientation and so on and responded as he would from the same cues in an airplane, but there was no way it flew the same. The simulators had showed us that.

Whatever It Takes
Well, I've been drawing little hearts in the morning paper
Lookin' for a house an' a couple of acres
You'll be mine some time, sooner or later and I can't wait
Like a busy ol' bee savin' up it's honey
Honey I'm savin' up all my money
To have you I'll do anything I have to, whatever it takes
Whatever it takes to win your love
I hire me an airplane, have it paint your name up in the sky above
I tell the world I'm yours, put it on a billboard out on the interstate
If it takes forever to get us together
Honey I'll do whatever it takes.
Well I've been yellin' your name from a lookout mountain
Tossing my pennies in a downtown fountain
Makin' my wishes I'm hopin' they're countin' for love's sake
I swim upstream in a ragin' river
Walk through fire do you get the picture
I swear I bare anything to get there Whatever it takes
Whatever it takes to win your love
I hire me an airplane, have it paint your name up in the sky above
I tell the world I'm yours, put it on a billboard out on the interstate

Her Prayerful Breath
She sat on the grass
beneath the summer sun
looking at you
as if for the first time
and as she looked at you
you looked beyond her
at the distant sky
and how the clouds
resembled a woman’s bust
and how humorous it was
when an airplane
went right through
on its way to some far off land
and as she took your hand
she said things about love
and how she felt

Global capital markets pose the same kinds of problems that jet planes do. They are faster, more comfortable, and they get you where you are going better. But the crashes are much more spectacular.

I was always afraid of dying. Always. It was my fear that made me learn everything I could about my airplane and my emergency equipment, and kept me flying respectful of my machine and always alert in the cockpit.

the ballad of Running Bare
The ballad of Running Bare
By the shores of Ichy Coomi,
By the mighty deep sea water,
In a wigwam warm and roomy,
With the big chief`s lovely daughter,
Lived the Indian champion streaker,
The best in Delaware
And they changed his name from Running Deer,
And they called him Running Bare.
So fleet of foot was Running Bare,
That arrows outward he had shot `em
And run forward with such swiftness
That the arrow had pierced his bottom.
Indian braves in village talkum,
“Running Bare him plenty dumb,
Indian must be heapum stupid,
Shoot own arrows up own bum”.
Big chief`s darghter very lovely,
Not too fat and not too skinny,

A Rare Gift!
Dam patin la sanda besayanawa
Akase ranwan patai
Samugena yanna magen tawa mohotai
Nododa inne ayi?
[ Purple Moon sets and the sky is gold
To say good bye is close by
Why don't you speak? ]
(The immortal song by Gunadasa Kapuge & Malanie Bulathsinhala and the precious lyrics written by the veteran dramatist Lucien Bulathsinhala.)
He who painted the twilight sky
in my faded dreams,
Talked to me;
'I 'll give you a precious gift
on your 61st Birth day!
A modernized wheelchair
You can use as a glider!
But be careful as I cannot give you a guarentee on brakes! '

Orange Crush
Follow me, dont follow me
Ive got my spine, Ive got my orange crush
Collar me, dont collar me
Ive got my spine, Ive got my orange crush
We are agents of the free
Ive had my fun and now its time to
Serve your conscience overseas (over me, not over me)
Coming in fast, over me
(repeat verse)
High on the roof,
Thin the blood,
Another one ____ on the waves tonight,
Comin in, youre home
Wed circle and wed circle and wed circle to stop and consider and
Centered on the pavement stacked up all the trucks jacked up and
Our wheels in slush and orange crush in pocket and all this here county
Hell any county its just like heaven here and I was remembering and i
Was just in a differnet county and all then this whirlybird that i
Headed for I had my goggles pulled off I knew it all I knew every back
Road and every truck stop
