Destination Moon
Dont bother to call this room
Theres nobody here who can pick up
Or has stuff they need to talk about
And who wont be now
Checking out and flying
By rocket to the moon
By airplane to the rocket
By taxi to the airport
By front door to the taxi
By throwing back the blanket
Hanging down the legs
Thank you for the card with the cartoon nurse
But you see theres nothing wrong with me
You think, thats what you think.
Thats what they all say,
Before I blow you away
By rocket to the moon
By airplane to the rocket
By taxi to the airport
By front door to the taxi

Some of the best times in my life happened under the influence of drugs... I'd still be doing it if I could make good judgement calls. I'd still be doing it if I didn't blow up to the size of an aircraft hangar, because it was a great time.

Nature Calls
Winds whisper
Secret truths
Doves cry
A lullaby
Singing Seas
Silence tides
Mountain walls
Echo’s ride
Desert’s drone
Lovers hide
And when
Duty Calls
Soldier's Rise

Elis Song
This song was first released on the spirit album. it is the only album it has been released on.
Born in the month of june
No silver spoon to help you out
Your mother had you naturally
Naturallys the way you came out
You know your your own mind
And you show it to me
Give me the high sign
When you want to be free
And open up my eyes
To the wonders that you see
See the airplane fly
See the trees rush by
Be brave and strong when you hurt yourself
And dont you have a worry in the world
For the love thats been given you
Is the one thing time cant erase
And evryday its growin
Like the knowin smile upon your face
Youre startin out strong

Flight
Outside my window the wasps
are making their slow circle,
dizzy flights of forage and return,
hovering among azaleas
that bob in a sluggish breeze
this humid, sun-torn morning.
Yesterday my wife held me here
as I thrashed and moaned, her hand
in my foaming mouth, and my son
saw what he was warned he might.
Last night dreams stormed my brain
in thick swirls of shame and fear.
Behind a white garage a locked shed
full of wide-eyed dolls burned,
yellow smoke boiling up in huge clumps
as I watched, feet nailed to the ground.
In dining cars white table cloths
unfolded wings and flew like gulls.

Late Anniversary Madrigal
May you find help from action figures I keep.
May you find them in the top drawer
And bring them out while you sleep
And I welcome darkness--
The flickering TV, helicopters
hopscotched overhead.
May these nightdolls help you,
When every questionnaire questions you,
When diagonal smoke
Mafficks treetops.
Use this antidote liberally.
May your walk to the F train be not alone.

All of the biggest technological inventions created by man - the airplane, the automobile, the computer - says little about his intelligence, but speaks volumes about his laziness.

Terminal Loneliness
One of the loneliest feelings
in this world
And one that’s always sure
To defeat you
Is to walk off of an airplane…
Late at night
And there’s no one…
There to greet you

As we have seen, the wireless and the airplane have made the world so small and nations so dependent on each other that the only alternative to war is the United States of the World.

We went on stage with the Jefferson Airplane, Jim started singing with Grace Slick and hugging her. Then he danced off the stage, went back into the dressing room and passed out cold.

Let's take flight simulation as an example. If you're trying to train a pilot, you can simulate almost the whole course. You don't have to get in an airplane until late in the process.

I had done a lot of rock 'n' roll photography when I was in college. I was one of many photographers who worked for The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, and all of these rock 'n' roll bands.

Most pilots learn, when they pin on their wings and go out and get in a fighter, especially, that one thing you don't do, you don't believe anything anybody tells you about an airplane.

I have the ordinary experience of being anonymous when I'm in an airplane talking to air-traffic control, and they don't know who they're talking to. I have a lot of common experiences.

We have been the cowards lobbing cruise missiles from 2,000 miles away. That's cowardly. Staying in the airplane when it hits the building, say what you want about it, it's not cowardly.

John Denver
Many years ago in mid-October
Nineteen ninety seven,
A faulty aircraft fell to earth
Descending down from heaven.
The inexperienced pilot's life
Was taken at the scene...
His name, it was John Denver,
A music man supreme.
The world was overcome with shock
And filled with much despair,
John Denver's revered name will
always stay in mid-October air.
As a poet and great songster
With tenor voice like wine,
He made music for the millions
To last through endless time.
A Friend of Earth - Oh hunger not!
Just 'follow me where I go',
His lyrics were so beautiful
With Rocky-mountain flow.

Toothless Woman, Smiling
A toothless woman, smiling.
Flocks of ravens roost there
Remaining in the cavern of her mouth.
When the woman and the ravens are unhappy,
Woman and Raven board an airplane to fly South.

During the mission, Walter Jones, a team member was given a package containing bone fragments by a Lao. The source said they were from a crash site. He presented photographs showing himself in company with others digging around obvious aircraft debris.

Sharia Jaziya And Sikhs
Attacked from all corners,
Herd of bearded, skull capped killers,
Bombs, gun wielding fanatic riders,
Only Sharia and Jaziya and death gliders.
Uprooted from their land, no food no water,
Only bombs and bullets freely fire,
Crazy messenger of death and terror,
Heralded death to many dear and near.
Watched with horror by helpless eyes,
No love or help from any sides,
Free loot of Sharia and Jaziya chides,
Sympathy false from secular step brothers,
Where love and help reserved for Sharia followers.
N.B. this sonnet (short poem) was penned down on religious discrimination against Sikhs and non Muslims in Aurkarzai in Swat valley in Pakistan who were forced out from their houses for not paying Jaziya, a communal tax.
